When I visited Golden Living Center in Eupora the staff was very welcoming. All of the patience seemed to be extremely satisfied with their way of life at the facility. The family member i was visiting bragged on the nurses about how well they were doing and seemed more than satisfied to be there. Overall it was better than I expected it to be.

Understaffed; Patient neglect; Overcrowded roomsMy mother almost died because of neglect in this facility. Staff would not listen to medical complaints from my mother nor her family members. The last time she was sent to the hospital (after numerous concerns presented to nursing staff and administrative staff), she had numerous urinary tract infections, severe yeast infections in her mouth, pneumonia, bed sores, and dehydration. She never regained her ability to stand or walk after this hospital visit, and she no longer has mental clarity.
