The place that's at the top of my list right now is Mikkelsen Manor. That is primarily because of the location and just being a few blocks from where one of my brothers lives. It just makes a lot of sense to be able to have them really close to family. As a visitor, it was very bright and airy. They had a lot of areas for the residents to sit, not only in their room, but outside of their room. There was almost like a four-season patio type of area that was just very bright and welcoming. Also, the people that I met with really had a very strong dedication to caring. It's like the people there were like family when I was talking with them. I knew that my parents would be taken very well care of at that facility. It felt like a very good place for them.
