I was at The Estates at Greeley. PT was wonderful. The food was good. The staff was really good. I was there for three to four weeks. Medicare paid for most of it. What I paid was very little because I was sent there from the hospital. My room was basic. I didn't have any of my own stuff there because I wasn't going to stay. It had a bed, a chair, a TV, and a closet for my clothes, but I had to share a bathroom, which I did not like. They tried to keep everything clean. I was capable of making my bed, so they didn't have to do any of that. There weren't any amenities there at all. They had a nice courtyard. The staff was nice there; I liked them.

This is the most depressing health care facility I've ever been in. Rooms are depressing. Food is cold. Call buttons are not answered in a timely manner, leading to patients soiling themselves, then they are only showered once a week. My MIL was there recently and we were shocked to see the condition of this place. Not sure maintenance is ever done, all the walls are banged up, tons of clutter in the hallways. Front door is open to the public and anyone can walk in - there is no one there to monitor who comes and goes. My MIL is currently in another facility run by Monarch and it's like night and day. It must be whoever is running this facility. It's literally a dump and I wouldn't put anyone I care for there. There are some staff who are very good, but the facility overall is a nightmare.

When you come into this facility you are pretty much on your own to figure out what is what. Very little direction as to what information you are suppose to be aware of. You are expected to just follow. The food is setup with a mobile kitchen with food coming from a the main building off campus. The food is reheated with no spices/flavoring. It's ashame because they do have a Cord du Blu Chef. If you are at an appointment and it's during meal time your food is delivered to your room to sit until you return. Not held or placed it frig. They are more than willing to reheat it for you after sitting out for more than an hour. The majority of the Nurses and CNA'S are kind and will help you if needed. The staff is like other places. You have some very excellent and caring staff and then you have those who just do the bare minimum. Be careful how much you advocate for yourself. It is not well received. They prefer you not to have your cognitive thinking intact in any way. I would not put my loved ones or myself back in this program unless certain levels of program and staff have changed.

This is where my brother went after he was released from the hospital, for transitional care and therapy. I visited him from the outside, I was not allowed in the building because they have the coronavirus. I'd have to highly rate them. My whole family has been there. My husband was there, my mother, three of my aunts, and two of my uncles. All has been in the facility at some time or another, so I know what the inside of that facility looks like. I just haven't been in there since my brother has been there, and I understand it changed hands again. It was very clean, very neat, and very nice. No problems whatsoever. It is very expensive. I think they charge way too much for the care they're getting. I need to get him out of there.

At ninety one years of age my father recently passed after a short illness. He had stayed at Greely Care Center twice, first last year for transitional care and lastly this year for hospice care. Though his last days were incredibly difficult, the staff made these days as comfortable as possible for him and our family. We were with dad when he passed and I must admit that this was the hardest thing I have ever gone through. All of the staff was exceptional at this terrible time, however I would especially like to thank Julie H. and the two Katies for their outstanding care and compassion. They were angels in our time of need. I have been to fancier care centers, but I have never dealt with people like the staff at Greely. Thank you all!

My dad has the type of dementia that only kicks in if he's really ill or injured. When it happens he goes into a nursing home and would be there for a month or two. With his recent one, he went to Golden Living Center. The hospital helped us choose this facility. Their staff are incredible. They got very little turnover. They also have a really good physical therapy department. Aesthetically this facility doesn't look too good, but they have very good care and staff. If they have funding to pick the place looking better, that would be nice.

The facility seemed to be well mantained and clean both indoors and outside. The staff was always friendly and was willing to answer any questions and address any issues that arose. My mother was well cared for and treated with respect and dignity any time I was present and I never heard of anything different happening at other times. The patients all seemed well cared for there and there never appeared to be anything untowards or contrary happening. She got regular visits from the staff and there always appeared to be someone around to take care of anything that needed to be done. Overall I was very pleased with the care that my mother got. A couple of times I ran into one of the workers there outside of the facility and he was always friendly and more than willing to talk about my mother and her state of mind and her attitude and her everyday life there. I have no complaints whatsoever regarding this facilty. Unfortunately another facilty run by the same company in another city did not seem to be as professional or friendly as this one. But I did not have the same amount of interaction with that facility to definitively say anything.
