My grandmother (now passed away) used to live at charter house and really enjoyed it. The staff at the front desk were always friendly and overall it's a welcoming environment. My grandmother enjoyed meeting friends and all the activities offered. She used to enjoy playing bridge with her friends. They don't have a pool, but the tenants can use the Dan Abraham facility which does have a pool. This is the best facility for seniors that I have been in.

Charter House was really good. They have a lot of activities. They have residents moving in and they're younger. The apartments were very nice. They will remodel it for you and put in new flooring. They all have full kitchens and bathrooms. The person during the tour was really good, asked us what we wanted to see, and showed us everything. I've talked to their memory care person before, and she always recognizes me. They're very friendly. The food is very good.

I have a somewhat positive view of Charter House. The staff were friendly and the residents were well treated. The meals provided are generous and tasty. The facility is good quality and is well maintained and decorated. The facility also has a nursing home attached so that my grandfather can visit my grandmother who moved in the the nursing home part of the facility. Negatives include the high price and that the majority of the staff are high school students or very young college students.
