My mother-in-law has moved into Timberdale Trace. They do a very good job there, and I can't complain. I like that she's safe there, and she's taken care of. The staff is very nice. They let me know if they need something for her. I took her for an eye exam and they transported her there, so I did not have to do that. There's no fee for that, and I thought that was wonderful. My mother-in-law says the food needs a little help. Other than that, I think she feels pretty safe there and that's the most important thing to me. I've eaten there when they had parties and stuff, and I thought the food was OK. For what they're doing, they're doing great. They have a list of everything that's going on. At 2:00, they have coffee and cookies. They do go out. They ate at Perkins last week. If you want to, you can go. I think it's a nice place compared to some I have seen. And it's a smaller community also, which is nice that they kind of get to know each other.

The tour I had at Timberdale Trace was OK. I wasn't as impressed with it. I went through the memory unit and I just didn't think that the space was as nice. They didn't have a bigger activity room and it was for people that weren't as mobile, but it was laid out well on a circle where people could find their rooms. So, the layout was good. It just wasn't as big. The person that showed me around was nice. She knew her stuff.

We chose Timberdale Trace for my mom because the other places that we saw were huge, so she would be too far away from everything. It's all on one level, so she could go to the dining room on her own pretty much. Some of the help isn't quite as attentive, and some of things had not been done. Most of the meals seem to be good. But now and then, she would say that the food was not very good. They seem to have a lot of activities every day. Their bedrooms are quite small. They have a salon, and a little courtyard in the back, and they do exercises.

Timberdale Trace was actually my parents' first choice, but they did not have the level of care that my mother needs. She is currently in hospice care now. From what I've heard, it is more for assisted living. If you can get around without somebody coming to help you go to the bathroom and get out of bed and stuff, you're fine. If you need the level of care my mother needs, that's not going to work for you out there. The tour was great. It's very, very clean, and very updated. Most apartments there have two bathrooms in it. It's very, very nice, organized, very clean, and a very modern place. The staff was very good and very knowledgeable. I didn't try the food, but I heard it was good from other residents.

I think Timberdale Trace had a lot of good things going on, but the room size was quite small and they did not have options of sizes, so that was a drawback to us. I don't think that's enough space for our mom. She has a special diet, but we did not leave feeling that they would manage our mom's diet. The place was very welcoming though. It was clean and it's in a very nice part of the town. It seemed like they had a lot of activities and the person who toured us was very helpful. She gave us a lot of information and she was very engaging. The dining area was also nice. They had tables set up for two or three people, which was good, and the outdoor area was pleasant and a pretty good size.

We have moved my parents into Timberdale Trace Assisted Living. It sounds like they're doing some remodeling there, but the staff was incredibly welcoming and very helpful. There are two of them in the room together, so it is very spacious. They have daily exercises, they have bingo once or twice a week, they take their bus and they tour them around the city and go to different places, and church services are provided. It sounds like they like the food. I don't know what they have been doing, but it sounds like they have been pretty active.

We toured Timberdale Trace, and it was awesome. We loved the facility, but it is mainly because my sister knew somebody who worked there. We just went there because she knew him. It is very small, close knit, and homelike. The staff are very approachable, friendly, and knowledgeable. They were able to answer all of our questions. Our biggest thing was we wanted safety, good quality care, and a sense of home for her, and that's what we felt that memory-care facility provided. The location is in a residential neighborhood about a mile from my mom's family home, and that made us feel it was homelike. The room was a little bigger than expected and very adequate.

The rooms were very small, and I don’t think it would fit the needs of my parents. The staff members that we met were very friendly.

I have a highly positive impression. The staff was very alert, responsive, warm, helpful, and friendly. I think this facility is a good fit for my dad. I would recommend this facility to others.

It looked very comfortable and very clean. It was near a park. The rooms were larger. I was there during mealtime -- they gave me food and it was very good. The staff told me about the activities. They had cards and they do puzzles. They had community things where the whole group do things together.

The staff is are very attentive to my sister, making sure that they include her in activities that she wants to participate in or try to actively engage her somehow which is very pleasing to me. The setup of the building is perfect for her as she is in a walker. The halls are wide. The dining room, living room, and the courtyard is in the center so she does not have to navigate around unless she chooses to. I just only wished they would do laundry every day.
