Glen Oaks is more in a wooded area. My mom was there. Actually, they had independent apartments, assisted living, and the skilled nursing facility, and she was in all three. I was impressed with their care. They were very, very good. They had adult daycare, transportation, and a beauty shop. They had a big picnic every summer and a Christmas event for all the families and the residents. While my mother was there, they had bingo, and they had people come in for concerts. Of course, they had church, and they had kids from the surrounding school that came in. They had an "animal day" too.
