We toured Vista Prairie at Manor House, but my mom didn't like the big community; she found it intimidating. As a visitor, it was very nice, it was clean, and smelled wonderful. The people were friendly and the rooms were large. Some of them were a little older, but then they have a new wing, so they have availability. They have exercise classes, a movie area, a snack area, and they have an area for the family to entertain with the clients. They have an outdoor area with a garden and kind of an enclosed grounds down below. They have three levels and there's a beautiful dining room. The staff that we met was a little disorganized.

I thought Vista Prairie at Manor House was great, but my mother-in-law did not. They were very welcoming and informative, and the staff showed us several rooms, which were a little bit small. She showed us one that was larger, but it happened to have been on the third floor which put her off because she's afraid of heights. They had lots of amenities that seemed fun. They had a lot of areas for visiting and sitting, a game room, and a nice living area. They had a chapel, a very nice cafeteria, a place for visitors to stay, a kitchen that was available to use, and a place for large gatherings, so your whole family can come for Thanksgiving or Christmas. We walked past an area with games, books, and a computer. We had a very good snack. They had a few issues and were going through some remodeling.

I took my mother at Vista Prairie at Manor House, but she didn’t care for it. It was a very nice place, but it just wasn’t what she was looking for. It was clean, and everybody seemed happy there. The rooms were clean, nice, and freshly painted.
