My friend has moved into Brookdale Eden Prairie. The thing I liked about it was that even though it was on a holiday when we first walked in there, we were able to view this. It was also a very short-staffed day, but the staff members (except the person who was manning the front desk) were all engaged with all of the residents, and that was the one thing we were looking for. Every place that my friend had been before, he always said, 'I'm always alone. Nobody talks to me.' So we wanted to make sure that he had someone that would be there to talk to him. I'm not going to say that my friend is happy because he'd much rather be at home, but he is content at Brookdale. And he feels like there are people that are there to talk to him and to help him when he needs help. The staff members have been helpful. It was a difficult decision to move him, but they're all extremely kind. They've been going out of their way to make sure that my friend is very comfortable where he is. I would recommend Brookdale to anyone who is looking. I haven't tried their food, but my husband has. The first day that he was over there with our friend, they brought out a nice fish dinner for them to enjoy. My husband said it was wonderful. He was pretty pleased. He said it was excellent. The chef came out and brought the meal to them so that he could meet them and say, 'I just wanted you to know that this is how he will be fed when he's here.' Their building is very homey. They have the areas for the residents set up more like individual apartments so that the people don't feel like they're just stuck in a room. It's one room and a bathroom, but they have the resident's name and a room number on each door so that they make it very personalized for them. They have every kind of activity you would want to do. They have rooms where you can put together puzzles, where you can color, and where you can play instruments. And If some of the female residents feel like they want baby dolls for them to hold, they have a room for that, too. They also have a couple of different outside areas that are still secured. They can go out, get fresh air and sit. And they have areas where they can plant. With regard to value for money, any type of assisted living is going to be expensive, but Brookdale would do everything that it can to bring that cost down to help them so that families can afford to have good care for their loved ones, so I think it's worth what is being paid for.

My mom is at Brookdale Eden Prairie. I like that the staff is very friendly and caring. They care about the people that live there. They are not just working there. I think they include them as part of the family. They make sure everybody is taken care of and their needs are met. The chef is very good, and the food is really good. The chef introduced himself to me when I brought my mom. We talked about the food and how they care for each one. They look at what they can and cannot eat. They try to develop something for each person that lives in that community, which is really nice. They have really good activities. They make sure they do exercises in the morning. They do different things, like bingo. They do things that keep their minds active. They keep their bodies and their minds active. They keep them kind of connected. They have a lot of activities there. The activities coordinator seems really good. My mom has only been there a couple of weeks, but she seems pretty involved. It seems like she's getting settled, so that's good. They have been wonderful to work with. The facility itself is very bright, very open, and warm. The activities are excellent, too. I would tell other people to check them out. I think they're really good at what they're doing. I would tell them to be open with talking to them when you're looking for something for senior parents or elderly people.

I went to Brookdale Eden Prairie. The tour was very nice. The community was beautiful. They seemed to have a lot of good activities. I was very impressed with it. They had a group of residents playing cornhole when I was there. The tour staff was very enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. He knew the residents by name. The rooms were nice. Of course, there was nothing in them, but they looked clean and of fairly good size.

The person that showed me around Brookdale Eden Prairie was very knowledgeable. She showed me various rooms, they had a woodworking room and a baby room, so the residents can go there. They also have kitchen and cooking classes, and they seemed nice. The staff really seemed great. I don't remember seeing anything that wasn't clean there.

I had an in-person tour of Brookdale Eden Prairie. The facility was inviting and very comforting. The staff was friendly. The sales manager was very friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. They seemed to want to find the best fit for the patient regardless of whether it was in their facility or not. It was a little smaller than I thought it was going to be. I was hoping for more outdoor activity areas for the patients.

We visited Brookdale Eden Prairie. We liked it for my parents. It was just too far for us and for my sister to go and visit and take care of them. Also, we weren't sure if we were going to be able to get them in that week. But we loved it. It was perfect to get my parents in together, which was the big thing. What we were trying to do was to get both of them in the same room. The room was nice and good-sized. They would have been able to have like a queen bed on one side of it, chairs, a TV, and a dresser on another side, and they had their own private bathroom, so it was nice. The person who assisted us was awesome. Brookdale was going out of its way to help us and get us in there. The dining area was just an average dining area, but you could tell the people could be together there. There were different activities for them that they could do onsite, but we didn't observe any going on. They had their own in-house hairdresser and barber, they had like a game room, and they had like a hangout area. Really when you walked in, the two wings that you could go to in the entryway almost looked like a smalltown main street. Within the inside of the building, it looked like they had different shops, but that was just like the entryway, and then when you went to the two wings, it was the rooms, the nursing station, and the dining centers, but it was the main common area at the beginning. If I went and visited my parents, I could bring them to that common area, and we could do a lot of cool things. The person who assisted me was so good. The facility looked awesome.

I met with Brookdale Eden Prairie yesterday. They have a corridor that's like a little city block that joins the two memory care centers. You're actually outside the building, but you're in a little city block, like a cafe or something. It's for family members if they want to sit with their parents or whoever they have there. All the rooms seemed pretty standard to any place I've been in. They're just basic. The only thing that surprised me was that with the phone and the cable TV, you have to hook up that yourself. You got to hire an outside company to come in and do that, which in some places, that's already part of your fee. That's the only complaint I have. I looked at the menu, and there wasn't anything unusual there. I didn't sample any of the meals. All the staff members I met with were all very nice, friendly and answered my questions. Some of the staff stopped and asked me questions, what kind of person my dad was and stuff. They were asking lots of questions. I had no problem with the staff. They were all very nice. They are just a memory care facility.

My mom is still at Brookdale Eden Prairie. She seems happy there and they seem to keep her occupied. The activities are good and her room is OK. However, I have been trying to get their closet door fixed and they haven't been able to do that. They do have exercise classes and they go on field trips. I haven't tried the food but my mom seems to like their food.

Our experience with Brookdale has not been a pleasant one. As a resident in the memory center my father-in-law as often unshaven, his face, hands, and clothes were often crusted over with food. His clothes, sheets, and towels were lost and items were missing from his room. Repeated attempts to address our concerns with the management team fell on deaf ears. We were told that personalized program would be developed to meet my father-in-law "where he was at." For my father-in-law that meant parking him in front of a TV. My father-in-law deserved better care that what he got. I would not recommend care at this facility.

My mother-in-law would be moving to Brookdale Eden Prairie next week. We chose it because we liked the facility and the programs. They had a special program for each resident based on their needs. They served three meals a day. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were very spacious. They had transportation, but it was our choice to transport her to her doctor's appointments.

Clare Bridge is a beautiful, clean, joyful and stimulating facility for the unique population of Alzheimer's and Dementia residents. The staff are well trained and filled with compassion. We are so happy we found this home for our Mom and we highly recommend it!

The staff here are fantastic! My aunt and my family were treated with such genuine care and consideration during such a very difficult time for us. They had resources and support for all of our needs, anticipating situations and providing solutions for us proactively. I felt confident knowing my aunt would be well cared for when I left her there, which was very comforting to me. They not only took care of her, but the support they provided extended to our whole family. Not only while she was there, but it has continued even after her passing. I would highly recommend this care facility to anyone needing a welcome, safe and home-like care facility for thier loved one!
