My mom is now a resident of Aftenro. She has been there for two weeks now. It's a board and care facility. It has been excellent. They have been communicative, very helpful, and attentive to needs. In the age of COVID, I haven't even been in the building, but my mom apparently likes it. She said the food is wonderful. She likes her room. The value for money is reasonable and average.

My 96 y/o Mom is a resident. No central AC for one entire weekend; no food one Sunday; a person named Wendy was extremely rude to me; no returns on my phone calls - all to a tune of 6K a month. I am bedridden in CO; therefore, physically unable to fly out there to do my own assessments.

I thought Aftenro was a nice and clean facility. The CNA's and Nurses were very nice, and told us everything that we needed to know. They showed us all the rooms that were open, and had a nice range of rooms. The dinning room was very well planned out. There was a hair dresser's room, a library, a physical therapy room, and even a small convenince store. I also loved how they had many activities through out the day. I didn't like how understaffed they were. I heard many times call lights going off for more then a couple minutes. We were there for about half an hour and I only saw 3 CNA's on and they had somewhere around 50 residents. The lady behind the nurses station had no idea what she was talking about half the time and we were told as a joke kind of not to listen to what she says.
