Pine Ridge is bright, sunny and well-lit. I'm not really pleased with the staff. I was before, but then they moved my father-in-law to the geriatric ward, and I don't really care for the staff that much. They serve the same thing over and over again, and if they give them meat, they don't cut it up. The activities are pretty good, like bringing in different performers and music, but as far as getting my father-in-law up and bringing him around in his wheelchair, they don't do that anymore. The place is very clean though.

My mother was in Pine Ridge for rehab. The staff genuinely cared about the patients and are willing to communicate with family members. They went out of their way to accommodate the specials needs of my mother. The cleanliness was fine, and the room was fine. The food was institutional, but it wasn't horrible. She's ready to go home next week.

My cousin is in Pine Ridge, but we're not sure if she's going to stay there because she seems to be recovering a little bit of her cognition. It's a fantastic facility and absolutely gorgeous. The staff is pretty good and friendly. Even though it's a hospital setting, it's almost like a family setting with the way they run it. I think my cousin really likes it and especially likes the ability to have communal dinners with the other residents. If she leaves, she's going to miss her fellow residents. She likes the activities, except she needs more than what they have. They have pretty good physical therapy, which she likes. They have card games, bingo, move nights, and field trips for the more able residents. She loves the meals, and the food smells delicious. They're very good.
