My friend is currently at Life Care Center of Plainwell, and we are very happy with it. The staff is very attentive. They answer any questions. They're very caring and helpful. They have activities. They watch movies. They have people come in to do things, like sing. They have social hours. I think it's excellent value for the money. His room is clean, and the staff is polite when they come to clean. They try not to disturb the patient. They are never in the way when they clean. There are flowers up at the front. Everything looks up-to-date and cared for. We have been very happy with it. They have been very helpful. They worked out the finances and everything, and they explained everything to us.

My mom was in this facility during the covid pandemic as part of her rehab after time in the hospital. Mike Eby in social services provided exceptional, personable care and empathy for and towards mom. He was invaluable to me and my family when we could not be there in person. Mike provided guidance, updates and above and beyond assistance during a heartbreaking tragedy for mom. According to mom, the food here was delicious; and the care and rehab were successful! The rooms "smallish" but with good light. Mom met regularly with PT, OT and activities rep - all in her room because the facility followed strict COVID guidelines. We are VERY grateful to all who cared for and helped mom during this difficult time.

Understaffed, patients ignored for extended periods of time, those who are able to do a little for themselves are stripped of their dignity when told they don't have enough staff to help them all the time. This place disgusts me.

My mom has been a resident at LLC for about 2months now. Its a very nice facility, ALL staff are wonderful here. They truly care for the residents and meet their every need, my only wish is that they had accommodations for an assisted living facility, that's the only reason mom has to leave. Moms only had one complaint about the food and she being a foody is a high compliment!! Keep up the good work, you're all awesome!

Old and outdated. Two rooms (four patients) share one toilet. Rooms are small and crowded. Food is awful! For dinner one night, they gave my mom a small amount of macaroni and cheese with corn. Not a balanced meal! I had to bring her in meals because they feed her so little! Staff is slow to respond. If you loved one needs to go to the hospital, they will only send them to Pipp or Borgess because that is who they are affiliated with. They denied my request to have my mom sent to Metro where all her records and doctors are. Avoid this place!

My great grandfather was very happy here. The staff takes care of the residents there. My great grandfather loved to read, but he was almost completely blind. The staff gave him books on tape, or would read to him. The facilities are very clean and are kept that way. My great grandfather told me that the food they served him was really good and "tasted like it was homemade". There didn't seem to be any problems at the facility, and it didn't have that odor that many assisted living facilities seem to carry. The environment felt very friendly, and the staff was very polite. They often had events in the "activity area". They would have live bands, a Sunday church service, "candy bar" bingo, birthday parties, and even an auction. Most of the residents seemed to enjoy activities there. I would definitely recommend this facility to anybody in the Plainwell area.

Facvility offered excellent care to my husband during his 12 week stay as he recovered from liver disease. Caregivers were attentive and caring. PT and OT staff offered riobust and rigorous therapy that challenged my husband and forced him to get stronger at a quicker pace than otherwise might have been the case.Food was good and abundant - my husband even looked forward to breakfast ( a meal he nearly always avoided prior to his ilness).

This facility has a new physical therapy room that helped him a lot. There is an activities department that schedules outings, bands to come in, and other activities t keep the residents happy. The nurses and certified nurse aides are all very nice however I find that you can hear them discussing their personal lives in the hallway. I would recommend this facility to another family member or friend.

The facility appeared to be very clean on the inside however I was a bit turned off that it was on the grounds of the Borgess Pipp Hospital in Plainwell, MI. The staff seemed to be very well mannered and they seemed to take good care of their residents however you could often hear them complaining about issues with other employees and management from resident rooms which I found to be very uncomfortable and I'm sure the residents do as well. Meals seemed to be very helpful however there was little variety in what they would get. Often times they would be served the same vegetable for several days in a row. The rooms and common areas were well kept and it did not have the typical assisted living facility smell that you normally would expect. I believe that this is a great facility, but there are no grounds and its located at an actual hospital.
