We chose the Brookridge Heights Assisted Living and Memory Care for Mom, and she moved. What I like about it is that they make the residents feel like they're still very independent in their choices. They have a lot of choices of things, activities that they can do, and then they get to pick and feel like they're in control of what they're doing, and they provide up to seven activity choices a day. Some are very structured, and some are less structured, but they keep the residents busy all day long, and they keep their families very informed. When you're nervous about your parents being lost, or whatever in the building because it's a new space, they do an excellent job about keeping the family aware of what to expect, "Here's what's going to happen, and we're going to keep you updated with pictures and text." They're very communicative. The staff is friendly, caring, courteous, professional, and they take the time. There's certain staff members that take the time to communicate -- it seems very organized because they have certain staff members that communicate with the family daily on what's going on. It's very well laid out, very easy to navigate, but also very difficult for the residents to escape. It's a beautiful facility. There's a lot of outdoor space. They have live music all the time. It's expensive, but my mom has never had more fun in her life. It's a diamond in the rough.

Brookridge Heights Assisted Living and Memory Care was really good. We liked it. It was nice. The staff was very good. The rooms were nice. It was just a little bit bigger than what we were looking for. That would probably be the only downside I had on it. We didn't meet as many of the staff. They seemed to just be preoccupied, unlike at the other place where they engaged us. They had rooms and they had sitting areas and so forth. They didn't have a theater room like the other place did, but they had a game room and all that. They had a salon and a courtyard. It seemed very clean. I didn't see anything that put up a red flag. It's near restaurants and a hospital.

I went to Brookridge Heights Assisted Living and Memory Care. It was extremely clean. They were very interactive with the people that were there. The staff was very friendly. The placement coordinator, Lindsay, was beyond the moon. She was so nice to me and able to help me and answer all my questions. I was very happy with it. The place was kept up, neat, and semi-modern. They had an activity room, and I was very interested in the memory care unit. The staff was phenomenal.

We found Brookridge Heights Assisted Living and Memory Care. It turned out to be a very nice place. It was very welcoming, and very open, with a lot of smiles, and a lot of interaction between the staff and residents. We went there twice. It was very, very nice. The tour was very well arranged and very welcoming. The staff who gave the tour was wonderful. She's the director of marketing and she was just fantastic. The meal was unbelievably good. They had tomato bisque soup. The whole thing was wonderful. And just before we left, the cook came out with a dozen cookies for us to take home. They went all out. We were given a table a little bit off to the side, but people from the dining room came in to say hi to us and introduced themselves. The staff came out and introduced themselves as well. The facility was clean. The rooms were bigger than I expected. We chose the deluxe one-bedroom, and as soon as one of those opens, we'll be moving. They offer laundry and housekeeping. They have popcorn nights with movies. They have an activity room for different crafts. They have an exercise class almost every day.

Brookridge Heights Assisted Living and Memory Care was wonderful. If Mom was a little more independent and ambulatory, that was definitely where we would've liked to see her go. The staff was wonderful. I was really impressed. The memory care and the assisted living were almost identical. You would not be able to tell which side was which because they were equally lovely. The location was wonderful. I would recommend that place in a heartbeat. I had lunch there and they had several options. The food was good, and the dining room was lovely. The family rooms and the rooms for the residents were nice. Their memory care unit works with their residents to either maintain their memory or get a little bit of it back, and I have not seen another location with that kind of program. The place was large, spacious, had lots of windows, was clean, and beautiful.

My grandfather lives at Brookridge Heights in the memory care community. He is so happy. Everyone is so patient with him as he is in the early stages and gets confused easily. When we were looking for communities in Marquette we toured both facilities. Brookridge's memory care is the absolute best community in Marquette. The staff is wonderful, so loving and supportive. We're a high maintenance family, and the folks at Brookridge have been so patient and helpful to us. We recommend Brookridge Heights 100%! There are so many activities that he's been able to participate in and he really enjoys having things to do everyday, it has given him a renewed sense of purpose. Well done Brookridge! We couldn't be happier.

Brookridge Heights is an absolutely beautiful community. My friend's sister lives there and I visit her frequently. I can't say enough positive things about the staff and the kindness they show each resident. The community is always clean and warm, it feels like a home. You can truly see that the staff cares about the well being of the residents and they treat everyone with dignity and respect. Brookridge Heights is the best assisted living/memory care community in Marquette County. Take a tour, you will be glad you did.

Brookridge Heights assisted living and memory care I would have to say is one of the nicest facilities in the are. I had a Grandfather that lived there so I visited him quite a bit and like I said above I have been to many of the homes so I have something to base my opinions on. First off the staff is always very friendly and willing to help with what ever is needed, which isnt the case at alot of other places, they all seem like they really care about the residents and its not just a job. The facility itself is very nice and clean, it always smells fresh which is hard to do in an environment like this. Now with the recent addition of the memory care unit they can now better serve another group of patients that need special attention. My Grandpa is someone who like his food and he never had a complaint about that, he enjoyed everything they made for him and even when he couldnt certain things they made sure he always had something good that he could eat. I would recommend Brookridge to anyone that needs to make the tough decision to put a family member in a nursing home or assisted living.
