My dad moved into Baldwin House Hazel Park. The atmosphere is very friendly and very clean. The property is well-kept. I like the services that they were able to offer. They have game night. They have different days where they go places like to different restaurants or shopping. They have a lot of things. They have a spiritual location and a gym available. They have movie nights. They have a game room and a gardening club. They don't serve food. It's fully independent. So he has a kitchen. They have a little store kind of thing downstairs where they offer different types of snacks or prepackaged food.

Baldwin House Hazel Park is nice and clean. I spoke with several people and they seemed to enjoy living there. The tour person was very nice in the way she showed us around. I saw a couple of apartments and they were very nice, too. She gave me some literature to bring home. It's very well organized.

My tour at Baldwin House Hazel Park was nice. I couldn't afford them at this time. The visit was good. The people were nice. It was nice, but it was a little bit too expensive. The staff were very respectful, very nice and caring. It looked like they went out of their way to show me what the people in the community were like. The apartment was very nice. It was a one-bedroom apartment. The staff was great. If I can afford it, I would move in tomorrow. I liked it. The people that live there all seemed so nice, respectful and friendly. My wife had just passed, so I haven't been out that much, but they made me feel so comfortable just like I was already staying there.

Baldwin House Hazel Park was nice, but they were kind of strict about the regulations for getting in. It was going to cost me way too much to put down to get in there. The $1,500 fee that you have to pay to buy in, plus you have to pay all of your utility bills. If you can't get your utilities turned on in your name, you can't get in. They were less than flexible about working with me on how much they had to have upfront and I couldn't afford it. Everybody was nice over there, but I didn't think they would be a very good value for the money. There were lots of activities, but half were going out to eat and you got to pay for that. So, if you're paying for an activity that you end up having to pay for again, I didn't think that was such a good bargain. There was a laundry room on each floor. The room had a nice kitchen and the layout was pretty good. It had a pretty good-sized living room with a little patio. The bedroom was big enough to fit at least a queen-sized bed comfortably. The dining area was nice. They had an activity room, and they put the library and everything in there. They remodeled it and it looked nice now.

I am moving into Baldwin House Hazel Park. I saw a one-for-one bedroom apartment. And because I walk with a cane, they offered me a wheelchair, and that made it fast. They were very courteous and very friendly. Everything was clean, nice, spacious, and cheery. They showed me the dining area. They didn't have a chef, but they had a vending machine area where you could buy meals and cook them in the microwave. They had a little store/snack area where you get snacks. They had what they call The Country Store whenever you needed things like paper towels and toilet paper, they had. They had washers and dryers on each floor and there was no fee for using those. They had nice little things that made your little place more personable, like little ledges outside the door where you could put flowers or decorations during the holiday season. They had a nice large ceiling fan over the eating area with the light on it. It made it look cozier. And in the apartment, you had a balcony and good-sized closets. The kitchen was a good size. They had dishwashers in the 2-bedroom apartments, but not in the 1-bedroom apartments. They did provide a service that if somebody wanted to go to the grocery store, they would take you to the grocery store. The staff who assisted me was very friendly, very courteous, and very friendly. Her name was Christine. They had a small theater area, a little library area, and game rooms. They provided a lot of activities for the residents. It was a very large facility and it was well-kept.

What I liked about Baldwin House Hazel Park was it wasn't a tower. It was only three floors. I liked the fact that most of them had a balcony. The units were a little bit small. The least thing I liked about it was the fact that each tub had a cutout. You couldn't take a bath because the tubs were cut out for whatever reason. The staff was very respectful, and very helpful, answered whatever question, and gave you whatever information you needed. Everything looked decent, clean, nice, neat, and tidy. They have a courtyard, a gym area, and area for movies, and game areas, and in the back, they have a little area, so if they want to do a little barbecue or something like that, they can do that.

I was impressed with Baldwin House Hazel Park. What I liked about it, it was a mixed community. So there were white, black, just a mixture of a diverse population of people. And I also like that they had all the activities laid out on the bulletin board. I like the community center that they had. I like how well the grounds were set up. The girl, Kristine, was very professional, courteous, kind, and patient. I also like how they have their own store. She showed me a one-bedroom, it was a model unit. Just very well kept, and I was impressed with that. They supply the stove and the refrigerator. They also have, on each floor, their own laundry room, which is free. They have a shuttle that comes and takes them to the market every week, taking them to do their banking on a different day, and seven days a week they have different activities. There were so many things I liked about that place. I was like, even if I was retiring, I wouldn't mind living there myself. They also have a third party, 24 hours on site where they offer housekeeping, like if they needed to have medicine distributed, even though there's an extra cost for that, they just had a lot of things that I liked about it.

Baldwin House Hazel Park was a very nice facility. The people were very friendly and very warm. The grounds were well-kept. I liked that they have a lot of things planned for seniors and that each apartment has its balcony and its laundry room. I also liked that they have transportation available for some seniors who don't drive. Overall, they have very nice facilities. I liked it a lot.

My mom will be going into independent living. The place is very clean and their apartments are very accommodating for what my mom needs. The staff is wonderful. The dining area is just a large room and they can go outside to eat if they like, which is nice. They have many activities and they're open to suggestions from the residents.

It is really nice. It was very pleasant although the apartment's size were not that large. This would have been my second choice. They were able to answer my inquiry promptly when I searched online and looking at other facilities. I really didn’t know what to expect when I went to the facility, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The building looks great. The location is great. The layout is great and I would highly rate this facility.

It has a cottage but costs more. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The rooms were clean and spacious. They can improve on the size of the dining area. If I can afford it, I would like to move in the cottage.
