My mother-in-law stayed in Mission Point of Greenville. The staff was very, very friendly and caring and they helped her a lot. The people in rehab worked with her a lot to try to strengthen her. She was in a private room. It was quite expensive, but that's because of the rehab part. We were there when she had her meals, and she enjoyed them, so the food was probably good. It was a nice room. She had a bed, but they would put a mat on the floor. They didn't get any railings or anything to keep her from falling, but I guess that was because they can't restrain people. It was clean. She didn't get involved with anything, but we did see that they had a schedule of things that the residents could do. They took field trips and things like that.

We place my mother-in-law in Metron of Greenville. They do an excellent job. Her room is small but clean. Their activity is one of the best things about them. My mom has Alzheimer's and she can be very difficult, so keeping her busy is very important, and they're good at it. They have coloring books with pencils and crayons, they have paints, they make things all the time, they are allowed to have cards in their rooms, and some of them play instruments. The staff members are very understanding, friendly and competent. They're very good people. They do very good with food, too. The activities room is very light and airy. They have all kinds of things there to work with. They have a very nice gift shop. There is a small area where people gather to sit and chat with each other. It is safely situated where all the nurses could see everybody. They do a good job.

My Mother in Law was taken to Metron she was there for 3 weeks. The care she received there was very very poor, she was not changed and kept clean like she should have been, she did not get the care she was suppose to receive, when we would go there we saw residents laying face down in their food trays, hunched over in chairs in the hall way almost on the floor, we had to have her moved to the Hospital due to she got real sick and weak after 2 days they allowed maintenance to go in and remove all her belongings from her room and when asked about it no one seemed to know what happened to them. I would never recommend this place for anyone, it should be closed.

My mom had to go in an emergency room and she then had to go to rehab at Metron. I live in Greenville so it was convenient for me. But now she needs 24-hour care so she is currently at Metron nursing home. When she was in the rehab facility, I feel that she just didn't get the attention she needed. It was not clean and the bathrooms were dirty all the time. I did not like that but now that she is in the nursing home part of it. The bathrooms are cleaner and it seems that she's got better care. She is in a semi-private room and she gets all her meals and everything right there. She doesn't eat much at all though. She's having kidney failure and she is barely eating anything.
