On a crime scale, the county’s violent crime is rated at 23.1 compared to the national median of 22.7, and property crime is rated at 41.7 versus 35.4 nationally.  
  • Los Angeles County has a pleasant climate throughout the year with high temperatures ranging between 66 and 85 degrees.
