We selected Tatnuck Park at Worcester for my brother because it's excellent. It's bright and cheery. They have an excellent dining room and good service. The staff is very good and the activities are very good. They have van services, they go to outside activities, they go on trips to church and stores, they have activities within the facility, group sessions, group games, and sing-alongs.

Tatnuck Park at Worcester was beautiful. We liked that one. The person, Ariana, that we met with was very, very helpful. There was plenty of staff. It was very comfortable. Everybody appeared to be very happy there. It's very clean and the residents' rooms were very large and everybody brings their own stuff. We saw a lot of common areas like dining rooms. They had a separate area for a whole kitchen. You can go in and even cook if you want to in there. There were several different rooms that the residents would meet for various reasons. The place was very large.

We toured Tatnuck Park at Worcester. It was excellent. Their director of dining makes quilts, and they have quilts in their entry area. There were wall hangings and table runners, and they were beautiful. They told me that they had one for all the different seasons and holidays. The one we were seeing was for early summer and they said they'll be putting up a 4th of July one as well. That is an extremely nice personal touch that the director of food services would do for the facility. We saw two rooms and they were a very good size with a lot of space. We were very happy with those. The person who toured us was excellent. She could speak the language of the dementia unit. She used all the correct terms. She noticed that my mother-in-law was curling in on herself and her head was down, and she said that that is very typical and that she was doing it because the tour is making her feel uncomfortable. She was able to tell us why they chose certain colors for the rooms and the plates they use and the whole philosophy. She was very fluent in speaking about that. They have a craft area and different stations. They have a memory station where they talk about remembering the time when they got married and recall what day it was, or what season, and things like that. They have a beautiful outside walking area and a sitting area that's enclosed. The residents can get out when it's nice. The residents there were out and about when we were touring. They were extremely friendly talking to my mother-in-law, and drawing her out of her shell. That was a very nice experience. They gave us some cookies to take with us. They were handmade cookies with a strawberry marmalade. They made the marmalade from the strawberries that the residents grow. They were delicious. I would buy them if they sell them there.

I will be moving to Tatnuck Park at Worcester. It's so friendly and so clean, and there were so many nice residents that I met. There were three meals a day, I don't have to cook anymore, I don't have to clean, it's a wonderful place and it's so clean. And they just refurbished the whole place with new carpets and new furniture in the sitting areas. The room looks very nice, and beautiful. I'm getting a 1-bedroom and it is a little small because I'm leaving a 9-room house, but it was very cozy, very nice, and modern-looking. They already have the refrigerator and microwave, my apartment doesn't have a burner but that's what I wanted. The staff who took me around was Ariana, she's very friendly, very personable, and very kind. The food is delicious. They have a beautiful backyard with trails and flowers, they had bird feeders, and it's just a terrific place. The staff is very pleasant and you can tell they like working there, which is important.

I toured Tatnuck Park at Worcester yesterday. What I liked least about it was the cost, I thought everything will be included in one price but it isn't. I loved the menu for the food and I loved the apartment. The person who took us around was thorough. There weren't a lot of things going on in the facility during my tour, and they only have one movie a week. They've got activities like music appreciation, stretching and moving, they have painting and a book club. The facilities were in great condition.

Tatnuck Park at Worcester was clean and orderly. The staff was very cordial and accommodating. They were very good. The place was really nice. We went into two different rooms. We went into a studio, and then we went into a one-bedroom. They showed the cafeteria and a real pretty outside area. It was a courtyard to sit outside. They showed my friend a list of activities that were posted. They gave her a copy of the specials of the day and the menu. I was very impressed with the staff. The staff was very knowledgeable in their surroundings. They were good at what they did, and they made you feel comfortable.

I went to Tatnuck Park at Worcester. It was a beautiful facility, and the staff was very friendly. They had beautiful rooms. I like the layout a lot. Some of the hallways are a little smaller, and the rooms are more up to date. We did have a meal there, which was delicious. It was a more hotel-like environment. The activities were comparable to the others.

Tatnuck Park at Worcester is a beautiful place. It's very elegant, it's well appointed, the people there are just wonderful, and I so highly recommend it. It is on the higher end of what we're looking at in terms of cost. They had good meeting rooms, and they had very nice eating facilities. They had an additional kitchen for the residents to bake or cook if they wanted. They had a movie theater, walking areas, balcony areas, and life/community areas. It was actually quite nice. We saw a one-bedroom.

My parents are planning to move in to Tatnuck Park at Worcester. It's top of the line; it's amazing. The place is beautiful. It's assisted living and memory care, they have 2 levels in one location. It was a really first-class location, and really nice.

Tatnuck Park at Worcester was homey. They're able to care for someone in my father's condition because he was essentially a three person assist at the time. It's one of the few places around that had a hoyer lift, and it could accommodate him as an assisted living -- and not like a skilled nursing -- facility. I liked the whole environment. The staff member showed us around the facility, sat down with us, and answered our questions. They just couldn't take him because he was very sick at the time. It's a beautiful facility, and there were no smells.

Tatnuck Park at Worcester has more activity going on, and the person who showed us around was super helpful. I got very good vibes out of the place, and it's the one I'd go to at this point, though it's on the expensive side. When I visited, there was a group sitting in a kitchen identifying music, names of songs, and artists from the '50s and '60s. The dining area was lovely, and the home belonged to a very prominent person in Worcester, then converted into assisted living. The main part of it was this old beautiful building. Stacy, the person who assisted me, was top notch and super.

Tatnuck Park is a lovely place, and the staff was friendly. I had a very nice time speaking with the director, she was very friendly, and she gave me lots of good information. I saw a calendar of activities. The dining room was very lovely, they were very nice and sent me home with a home-made pie. That was very nice.

Tatnuck Park at Worcester was very nice. The rooms were all a very good size. Even the studio apartment was a very good size. There were lots of lights and nice windows. We visited this place for my father-in-law. The staff was extremely personable. He answered all our questions. He was very nice. They gave us cookies, and they were really good. The dining area was nice, but we didn’t eat a meal there.

The only thing I didn’t like about Tatnuck Park was the rooms were very small, and the only room at the time was a shared room. It was retrofitted for what they were doing there. It wasn’t built specifically for purpose of assisted-living, but I think the care would be excellent. The facility just wasn’t what I was looking for. The dining setup seems adequate. Everything that I saw that was working there seemed very engaged. It was also a very nice, and clean facility.

Tatnuck Park at Worcester is very expensive. The rent for a studio apartment is $149 a day, and then there’s a $5,000 community fee. It’s kind of steep. They have about 60 patients. I tried the food, and it was good. The rooms are nice, well furnished, and they have nurses around the clock for emergency care. They invited me for Thanksgiving dinner, and it was very nice. I like this facility, but it is too expensive for me.

The staff of Tatnuck Park at Worcester was very helpful. I think they did have some activities, but I wasn't there long enough to get involved with that. There was a group in there doing some type of sit-down exercises and that is one of the things that they do at where my husband goes at the Cape. The facility itself was very nice, very lovely. It was outstanding.

As a daughter of a mother who lives in the memory impaired unit, I am truly in awe of how well my mother and the other residents are treated. The staff have been enormously helpful from the day we researched Tatnuck Harbor Unit to this time of a year later of residency. Attention to detail is taken with anything important regarding resident care, food preparation and service, activities, and room preparation. Recently, my mother needed to be in rehab after hospitalization. The staff were so accommodating and helped us be sure to get the right assistance so my mother could return to Tatnuck as soon as possible. After having visited numerous other residential care places, this was and remains our first choice. My mother is happy here....and that is saying a lot!

Tatnuck Park looked really nice and there was a garden in front. The rooms looked nice and big; the beds looked comfortable. They had good food and coffee. The man who talked to us seemed pretty nice and seemed to care for the well-being of the residents. The price though was a little steep and it did not feel very homey. It had a very formal mood in the atmosphere.

My mom is currently at Tatnuck Park. She's been there for two and a half years now. The facility itself is very nice, but they don't seem to keep help and a lot of the help that they do have are not trained on how to deal with people that have some memory problems. I'm not at all happy with the staff. Well, the higher ups are fine, but the day to day people, the nurse's aides; they are not very good. For the nurses' aides, I'd give them a two. They have a couple of really good nurses' aides, but by and large, their nurses' aide population is very lazy and not really there to help. It seems like an imposition when you need help. You get a lot of attitude and they said there's a big turn-over. They're always short of staff every weekend, and if you do need that extra bit of assistance, it's generally not available. The place is well maintained, clean and immaculate, and they keep it well. The outside and the rooms are well maintained. They've got a good staff for maintenance and that kind of thing. They have a nice hairdressing salon, there are some amenities like I said, but unless you totally can take care of yourself, otherwise when you start needing more help, it's difficult to get it. Yes, I would recommend it especially for people that don't need a lot of assistance. You either have to be in the memory care, the Alzheimer's unit to get more assistance, but when you're in the general population, they do maintain the apartment once a week and they help with laundry, but there are just not enough people to take care of the residents.

My mom has been there for just a week. Right now, we're extremely happy with them. As far as I can tell, she's very well taken care of and she seems to be very happy. The staff is very wonderful. They're great.
