My Mom has been a resident of Waterstone at Wellesley for more than two years now and is thriving like never before. She's highly engaged in the community and has made close friends with whom she enjoys meals, activities and shared interests. I can always count on the staff at Waterstone to reach out to me with issues (there are seldom any, but they are both proactive and responsive when needed). And the location on the Charles, and so close to the highway, makes for both an oasis and a convenience. My mom has, happily, gained a bit of weight since moving to Waterstone - she had lost so much during the pandemic we were concerned. She loves the food and the options available at meals. We have no complaints at all. It's hard to get a read on a community unless you are there during meals or Happy Hours, which Waterstone has twice a week for residents of both Independent and Assisted Living communities. It's a lot of fun for residents and gives my mom (and others) something to get dressed up for (mom puts on her best *AND* makeup)! We are extremely happy with Waterstone.

Unfortunately, we dealt only with the sales staff and they were simply awful. My father enjoyed his visit, and the sales team were very enthusiastic. When the nurse came out for his medical evaluation, we discovered that my father was ineligible because of a medical condition. The nurse said, "We'll see," but that was the last we heard from anyone at Waterstone. I reached out to the corporate office, and they were also slow to respond. Obviously, the answer was no, but it would have been nice to hear that from someone at Waterstone. The blow was cushioned by the fact that my father's visiting nurse has not had good experiences at the facility.

Waterstone At Wellesley had excellent facilities, however, it seemed colder, and the other common rooms were empty. It was also extremely expensive, it wasn't diverse at all, it seemed empty, and the residents were not as engaged as the other places I've seen. They have bingo, and transportation to appointments.

My mother moved into Waterstone at Wellesley. The care seems good. The rooms and the dining area are nice. They have an exercise area, a beauty shop, outdoor fire pits, an indoor pool, and common rooms. It's a nice facility.

Waterstone at Wellesley was in a commercial area. There's a lot of traffic and it's not in the woods like the other places I've visited. Their activities are more stimulating, and they had more topics and events that I would be interested in attending. I wasn't particularly impressed with the staff, they're alright, but not as strong as the other community that I liked.

Our visit with Waterstone was fine. However, I did not like the urban setting without grass or trees. It was very industrial looking from the outside. We thought something with trees, grass, and walking grass would be better. The staff was very nice. We saw people socializing. The place had lots of dark wood and was very formal. It was competitively priced but a little hard to find. I'm sure they were excellent in what they do, but we wanted a rural setting.

Waterstone was beautiful, but I didn't get a good sense of care for the people. The people who work there were OK, but not wonderful, and I wasn't impressed with the service. The location was not that convenient, but the security was fine.

Waterstone at Wellesley would have been my top pick except that they had a separate wing for independent living and assisted. So, if you had to go into the assisted living, you would have to move. They had separate dining room. So, if you became friendly with people in the independent living, you couldn’t even eat with them. However, everything was gorgeous at Waterstone. The programs that they had were great. They had lots of amenities. They would get you to your doctor’s appointments. They had underground parking. I saw a one-bedroom unit. They had a full calendar of activities.

EPOCH has assisted living and independent living. The woman who was at the front desk gave us the tour. She was very nice, and it's a beautiful place. It has several fireplaces in the main part of the building. I looked at a single bedroom there, and it was very nice. The kitchen was nicely set up. They have personal trainers and they have a pool, and that's included in your monthly rent.

Epoch is a very clean and nice facility. It's expensive, but I know it's a first class facility although I don't really know well enough to have a detailed opinion of the place.
