The staff at Brookdale Quincy Bay was very helpful and showed concern. They didn't have memory care. But it was very clean, very presentable, bright, and sunny. The residents looked well cared for. The staff members were caring.

My father moved into Brookdale Quincy Bay. The people were very welcoming and made him feel at home instantly, which was very nice. It's a lovely and very clean facility with lots of amenities. They have a beautiful dining room. The food is very good. He has a lovely apartment.

My dad was at Brookdale Quincy Bay before. They are way better than where he is now. They're kind of pricey now, but they do three meals a day, they clean, they do the laundry, and all of that for a set price. You just pay one flat fee and that's it, you get everything: the food and all things every day. They give you a lot for your money. They have a nurse on staff in case you need it. They have people who come and check on you. They clean your place. They have the skills for that. They have something going on every single day. They even have a garden outside if you want to plant stuff. Their food was good. I had fish and a hamburger. The facility was always clean. The staff was more attentive. They care and they ask questions. They are really in tune with their residents. I liked the way they do their overall care and the food. The whole thing is pretty good. There was just one mishap. When it was my dad's birthday, they had forgotten to bring the cake. That bothered me, but that was pretty much it.

I like Brookdale Quincy Bay. I was there last month. I love the community. I like the staff and the way they serve me. The person who showed me around took her time and explained everything. I was happy with the way that I was attended to. The structure of the building was very good. They had a parking space. The atmosphere was very lovely, very quiet and cool.

My brother is in Brookdale Quincy Bay. The staff is extraordinary. They are very, very welcoming, informed, and consistently gracious. It's probably not the most up-to-date and beautiful facility, but it certainly met our needs. I have not had their food, but my loved one is happy with the food. I know of their activities just from what I've seen on their calendar, but my brother is very happy with the level of activities that they provide. It seems to be the most reasonable place financially and with lots of amenities. I would highly recommend it for somebody who is without a car. There's a lot of really great opportunities within a five or ten-minute walk of the place that someone could get to. There's also a shuttle that takes people to other places.

My sister was a resident of Brookdale Quincy Bay for eight months. She wasn't getting the attention that she needed. It was just too big a place. There were too many people that they were taking care of. She hired some other staff from another company, to take care of her personal needs, not connected with Brookdale, and you pay them by the hour. She had to go down with her wheelchair down the hallway to the dining area, and she had to go down by herself. It didn't matter to them whether she was down there or not. No one checked on her. They didn't offer her very much to do. Physical therapy would come up and speech therapy would come up. She had just minor exercises in the room that she'd do, walking around a little bit. The prices go up every year. They went up in January like they said they were going to and so that's why we decided to move. They're doing what they can with the help they can get.

The thing I liked the most about Brookdale Quincy Bay was that the physical therapist and the occupational therapist were right there on site. The lady who gave me the tour was very friendly and knowledgeable. They had a salon, a decent library, and a little function room. It's just a little rundown. The dining area was a large room. It's got tables that were spaced out. It was during meal time, so we didn't go and take a good walk-through, but we kind of peeked our head in and looked around and saw people eating. The room they showed me wasn't complete yet and they showed me a second one that was complete and that one needed to be cleaned up. They didn't show me a clean room. So that's one thing that they could have improved on was having a room that's show ready.

I had an in-person tour of Brookdale Quincy Bay. It was a very good experience. I will definitely consider it. The staff was very friendly and informative. The rooms were pretty standard. They have a TV room. It seemed to be a very pleasant place. I like the fact that it's not too far from Boston. They have patios.

We had an excellent experience with our tour at Brookdale Quincy Bay, we were very impressed. Everything was clean, the apartment was very nice with a kitchen. We were very pleased with the social atmosphere, the social rooms for people to congregate, and the lovely dining room. We were very satisfied. We looked at the menu but we didn't try the food. There was a whole bulletin board of all the different activities, people were taking the bus to go shopping at different stores, so people were waiting for that. The staff was very friendly.

Brookdale Quincy Bay is a nice place, but I'm a little bit younger for that facility. It was nice. People were friendly. It was very nice and clean. The rooms were very nice. They're brand new and some of them are very nice. It was very spacious. The washers and dryers in the apartments are brand new. The layout was very nice, and it was decorated nicely. If you want to purchase some furniture, it was optional, and everything was nice and quiet. It looked safe to me. I wish I can afford it, and I would love to live there. The staff who gave me the tour was very nice and very pleasant. They showed me where they play, and they have parties. They have restaurants. There was quite a bit of other activities around there for people to do. They showed me outside. They have a lot of places for people to walk around. If you have a dog, it's a nice place to work your dog around. However, that wasn't a place for me. Everybody there was way older than me. The staff who toured me around was very nice.

Brookdale Quincy Bay gave me a thorough tour of their assisted living. I liked the way they had set up schedules of activities for the people who were there. The staff who assisted me showed me one of the bedrooms. There were others that she couldn't show me because people were in them. I liked the fact they had different 1-bedroom apartments. It's not just one, but they come in different sizes. I liked the convenience of the place too because if I was to go and visit my mother, it would only be about maybe 10 to 15 minutes from me. I also liked that they have balconies. The person who assisted me was very thorough about all the things that they had available to the residents of the facility. They have an activity room where people do exercises. It's a good thing that they have a library too because my mom likes to read. The upkeep was good and the place was clean.

Brookdale Quincy Bay had very nice facilities. The staff that we met with was very informative and provided us with a lot of information regarding the services that they offer. We saw a few different unit options. They offered transportation to medical appointments. They had various programs of activities. The common areas were very warm and welcoming. They have a library, a reading area, and a nice dining area. The facility is a little bit of an older building, although the units they showed us were very nice. The bathrooms are a little bit on the small side, and both my in-laws use a walker, so it would be difficult for them to be in there together. The staff was very friendly, very accommodating, and welcoming.

Brookdale Quincy Bay was very nice, but the one-bedroom apartment was small and I couldn't afford the two-bedroom. The people were very nice. The amenities and things looked really good. They had a pool table, poker games, and things that I liked, but I found that the apartment was boxy and small. I'm not claustrophobic, but I felt a little bit boxed in, in the apartment, and there was no furniture in there. I could imagine if you put a piece of furniture and a table in there, I would feel sort of boxed in. The staff during the tour was nice, very friendly and accommodating. I didn't get any food. In the end, they gave me a cup with a pen and some chocolates inside. I didn't see anything wrong. Everything seemed good. They showed me the dining room. Parking was excellent. You could also rent a parking space, but if I moved in there, I wouldn't need one. It was huge parking in the back and the entrance door was right there in the back of the building, so that was excellent. There was a big space outdoors. Each apartment had a small balcony, which was good. The eighth floor had the best room for me. It had nice closet space, but I don't like heights. I couldn't live on the eighth floor. I don't think they had a microwave, but they had a kitchen and a dishwasher.

We found Brookdale Quincy Bay for my mother. It's just new, but they had a lot of employees that were willing to assist and were attentive. The studio has ample closet space, a kitchenette, and bath. Mom had a salad and some chicken yesterday. It looked fine. They had a maintenance guy come right in and fix a lock on their door for medication. I saw three maintenance guys and they were all very friendly. It appears to be well-kept and maintained. They have community rooms, a library, access to transportation, and an exercise program, but I haven't seen it yet. They have a daily calendar of half a dozen things to do.

The tour at Brookdale Quincy Bay was very good. They had different rooms and apartments available. They made sure I was comfortable. They listened to me and the problems that I have. The staff members were very friendly. They explained the different types of care. They showed me the cafeteria, library, and all the different rooms they had. The other thing too was the convenience of being next to a supermarket. The rooms they showed me were clean. One of the other major decisions was the price. I am not a veteran, so I get no aid.

I went to Brookdale Quincy Bay. It was very nice. The staff was friendly. The rooms were really nice. The one thing we did not like for our family was the bathroom/the showers. They were not roll-in, walk-in showers, there was a step to get in and out of it, and that wouldn't work for my parents. It was definitely clean. They were doing a lot of updates, so the facility was well taken care of.

We toured Brookdale Quincy Bay. The person that gave us a tour was very nice and helpful, but she was not quite able to answer all my questions since she was new. She said she has only been there for a little while. Some of the questions I had asked, I had to have someone return my call that was there with more experience, but the new person was very nice. She interacted with my dad, so it made my dad feel comfortable. The place is eight-stories, so they have an elevator. The person gave me a list of activities and the activities seemed very extensive. There are activities going on every day. The place was neat and clean, but it needed a little updating. I like the fact that all the independent rooms, except for the studios, all have balconies, which is very nice. It has free parking for any of the residents that need it. They have a game room that has a pool table, and they have another room where the residents go to watch TV or movies. Of course, they have their cafeteria for all residents to eat in. The best part that impressed me was that each room has a button that all the residents have to press between 8:00 and 10:00 to let the staff know that they're all fine, which I thought was very nice.

Brookdale Quincy Bay was nice and they had huge apartments there. That was good but it was just too big for my mom and they didn't have the level of care that goes as far as checking on them. I think you have to be a little more independent there. Also, she'd have to be in a wheelchair because the halls are long. It's just too big and just not right for her. If I get old and have the money, I'll go to Brookdale myself. We toured assisted living and everything was very nice. The apartments that they have were big. I think it may have been 6 or 8 floors so it's too big. She may wander off in the elevator so it's not good. It looked nice and clean, and everyone was very nice. At night time, a lot of people had their doors closed all the time so they couldn't just go and check on them. It's more like you have to be a little more independent than my mother. The staff was very good. They had to interview my mother to see what level she would need and all that. They could see that maybe it was not a great fit since she was such a big fall risk. They had 2 or 3 different room sizes. It depends on what you want and each one goes up in price. Same as the others, if you want medication twice a day, that's another price. If you need help showering, that's another price. If you need help dressing, that's another plus. If you need people to check on you, that's another plus. The location is great. It's right near stores. If we have to run and get mother something, it's a walking distance to a supermarket. They have an in-house doctor that comes once a month. They also have minivans to bring people to appointments. Everything was nice, clean, and very well kept up. It's got a nice big dining area. There weren't any negative things other than it wasn't the best fit for my mother because of the size of it.

I went to see Brookdale Quincy Bay, and I was not happy with it. It just was a little bit too old fashioned. I looked at the independent living. The gentleman who assisted me was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I tried their food and it was very, very good. They had a computer room, a library, and things like that. It's in a very, very busy place traffic-wise, and getting in and out was difficult. I didn't find it delightful at all.

The staff at Brookdale Quincy Bay was very accommodating. I thought the lobby area was cramped, but the rooms themselves were generous in size. They had full kitchens or kitchenettes. Everything looked fine, very neat, and busy. They had folks around enjoying the open spaces. They had a salon, a nice dining area, a nice game room, puzzle room, meeting area, and a private dining area. The surrounding area had a lot of retail places. There was a supermarket nearby, a Dunkin' Donuts, and restaurants. They gave us lunch, and it was very good. They had balconies. It was more modern looking. They were updating, and the rooms were having hardwood floors put in.

We are in the process of moving my dad into Brookdale Quincy Bay. I was able to tour it, and I think it is a decent community. They have a free meal every day, and there is a part of the building itself where they are dealing with all kinds of people's crisis, issues, and difficulties. They have good security over there. They take everybody's temperature, and make sure everybody is checked in properly. It is not just a go in and out place. Somebody is at the front desk and taking care of those residents in a wheelchair, and they really helped them. They are warm people. They also have a library and a nice dining area. Everybody who lives there was vaccinated because they had the medical people come in to give vaccinations, so I think that's better than some other places. I think it is a good facility.

My mother was in Brookdale Quincy Bay. It was wonderful until COVID. The staff was excellent. She was in a one-bedroom for a while and moved to a studio. It was fine and was just what she needed. Overall, it was well run even during COVID. The staff was attentive and friendly. They have activities, and she was happy there until she had to be confined in her room like everybody else. She was there for seven years. Considering that she's fussy, she managed with the food. Sometimes she liked the food, and sometimes she didn't. The activities were wonderful when she first went there. They had everything from parties every Friday afternoon, to dances for different occasions, to exercise programs and creative arts -- things that she's not been able to do for a while because of COVID. It's a big place, and what they try to do is check you when you come through the door on holidays and visits. They try to do whatever they can because they can't really mingle yet. It's a big, ordinary building -- nothing special. It's like a giant building with nothing really impressive about it.

My mom moved into Brookdale Quincy Bay. She picked it because she just thought everybody was really nice there. I thought the staff were all nice. They have all been there for a really long time, which was nice. Her apartment is cute, and she likes it. It is little, but it has everything she needs. The facility is clean, and everybody seems very happy. Everything is very easily accessible. It is near a lot of things, and that is really nice -- it is not in the middle of nowhere. You can walk across the street and get coffee, and it is within walking distance of a supermarket. It is in close proximity to a lot of stores that people would go to. I would not want to live there, but she likes it. I was surprised she likes it. I only have contact with two people; one I really liked, and one left something to be desired. Overall, I think the staff are great. I think the sales guy isn't great. My mom thinks the food is good.

I was very impressed with Brookdale Quincy Bay. They would have been my next choice for my father. It was a very nice facility. As a matter of fact, I was mentioning my search to a friend of mine whose ex-husband has gotten to the point where he needs assisted living and he is now there. I can't attest to the food, although they said the food was very good. Location meant a lot to me, and that was a good location for me. Their studio had a kitchenette, a nice sized refrigerator, and an electric cooktop. It was very clean, sunny, and it had a little bit more room in it than the one we went to. I met with two people there, one was the executive director, the other one was a salesperson. They were terrific, helpful, straightforward, and gave a great explanation on how they work with their pricing. They showed me the common areas, and they looked nice. They made sure we wore full PPE when we did the visit, so they're being careful. There was somebody at the front desk at all times, and they were professional. They do activities for the people, they have a lot of services, and their pricing is somewhat ala carte, so it's as much as you needed and then they price it out. They would help him if they needed to do his laundry, his medication management, any type of shower assistance, help him get up, or get dressed in the morning. They really had quite a few options for residents.

Brookdale Quincy Bay was pretty amazing. The staff was amazing. The residents seemed very active. The rooms were really nice. They had a nice dining room, and the meal was great. It was just too far from Foxboro where my brother lives. It's more of a city setting. They seem to get people out to go to different activities. I like the fact that they're involved in the community. They're tightly knit into the community there. It's an older place, but it was in good shape.

Brookdale Quincy Bay is working out fine. We did a virtual tour. We saw the assisted living and independent living facilities. They haven't had a lot going on because of the virus, but there definitely are activities. The staff is very pleasant. My friend hasn't complained about the food. The facility is very clean and very nice. The rent is high, but you're getting all the utilities and one meal a day, so it's not bad. All the dining is done in the rooms. The rooms are very clean.

My mother has Alzheimer's and dementia. She receives excellent care while at Brookdale's Assisted Living. The cleaning staff, the kitchen staff, the dining staff, the reception area staff, the nursing assistants, the nurses and all the heads of all of the departments do a fantastic job. They've also been working very hard since March, and have kept my mother safe from COVID-19. It has been such a relief knowing she is in such good hands. I would highly recommend Brookdale Quince Bay.

Very glad I moved my mother here; finally she is closer to me and gets the support she needs when I can't be there. The apartments are large and bright, the staff are friendly and caring. My mother often invites me and friends from outside for lunch, we're always impressed with the food. Parties for special occasions are always well-done. The staff is doing a particularly great job keeping residents save and engaged during the COVID crisis. The nurses and aides, are always helpful and really care. I couldn't have found a better place for my mom!

I found Brookdale Quincy Bay for my mother, and she's there for 6 weeks now. She started in assisted living, then pretty quickly went to independent, and it's been good. My mother's enjoying the staff, and finding people to be friendly and helpful. Her room is very nice, she's there for respite, so it's fully furnished, and completely adequate. They have tons of activities. She has gone to yoga, fitness, and bible study class. They've got everything under the sun, but she hasn't done too much else yet. It's very good for the price.

My parents will be moving into Brookdale Quincy Bay. The admission staff was a little flaky. The room has just been remodeled and there are some things that still need to be corrected, but the size of the rooms was tremendous compared to other places we've seen. I liked Brookdale Quincy Bay very much, but it was kind of large for me. The people were very pleasant and it's a really nice place, but it was bigger than I thought it was going to be. They have an exercise room, a dining area, and they have places where you can sit out. It's a very tall building, about eight stories, so it's too overwhelming for me. They provide the food, and you can come when they already have the food for you.

I'm living at Brookdale Quincy Bay. It's OK, they clean every other week, and the staff is very nice. The price is reasonable, the food is adequate, and breakfast is probably the best meal. They have themed dinners which are nice, like they did St. Patrick's Day. The activities are good, I go to music shows at least twice a week, and I get a little bit of exercise. It's adequate that way.

I wouldn't recommend Brookdale; it was smelly and dirty. I wouldn't feel safe leaving my mother there. I thought it looked like a huge college dormitory with multiple floors, and it's very confusing to me. I don't think it's conducive to an elderly person. The staff was fine and seemed very nice.

Brookdale Quincy Bay is affordable and has a really diverse population in terms of the people living there as well as the staff. It's close to shopping, church, and other conveniences, so she would be able to live more independently. They also had transportation for her should she need it. It's independent but allows her to have assisted living built around should she come to need it, and she wouldn't have to move to another setting, which is very different from what everybody else offers.

We had a wonderful experience at beautiful Brookdale Quincy Bay. They were all very nice people. We had lunch there, and the food was delicious. I am hoping to get my mother in there in June. The one-bedrooms are beautiful, very spacious, and very clean studio apartments with brand-new rugs. They rooms all had balconies with view looking out across the river; I live on the other side of the river. This one was so close to my house and within the price range we needed that there's no reason for us to look anywhere else.

Our visit with Brookdale Quincy Bay was positive. I thought the staff was professional, friendly, and understood people's needs. Everything I asked them, they answered. They were kind and I could not ask for them to be any nicer. The place was clean. The food was great.

My father is in Brookdale for a couple of months now. We’ve been very satisfied with the quality of care. There haven’t any issues or problems, and so far it has been great. The rooms are very clean, well-kept, and they have a clean record from the state. The food is great, it’s not like hospital food, and my dad seems to really enjoy it. They have quite a few activities, and there’s plenty of opportunity to get involved if you wish to. However, It’s very big, and seemed a little impersonal.

Brookdale Quincy Bay was very welcoming, and the receptionist was very pleasant. She told me how the assisted program works and what my mother could potentially qualify for there because she is qualified for MasHelp, explained potential benefits for my father since he is a veteran, and talked about amenities and meal choices. We walked around the facility and went to one of the apartments. If someone needs assistance, the staff worked directly with them. There were quite a few amenities from having entertainment come in, a card room, computer room, and exercise rooms. There is a doctor, nurse practitioner, optometrist, and dentist in the facility. They take people out grocery shopping since there are full kitchens in the apartments even though it’s assisted living. The facility was very nice, clean, and well-kept. The residents appeared to be happy from what I have seen, and I am impressed.

Brookdale Quincy Bay was also very nice. It was more of an apartment type facility. You will have a living room, a bedroom, and a kitchen. They had a cafeteria, and they offered meals. They had 24/7 care. The only thing I did not like about it was there was no lock down. My mother-in-law has a little bit of dementia, and she could go out at any time. I think it lacked a little bit of security.

We found River Bay Club for my mom. Everybody there is wonderful. The apartments are beautiful. She is actually in a double room where she shares an apartment with someone else, and it is very nice. They have a full kitchen, a little living area, and separate bedrooms. It is very nice. I had lunch with my mom. The food was excellent. They have quite a menu. It is very, very good. They have a lot of going on. They have bingo, they play a lot of movies, they have a computer club, and they have a library. Security and safety management is fine. When you go to visit someone, you have to sign in and sign out, which I think is a good idea. I would definitely recommend this facility to others.

I was impressed with River Bay Club. Unfortunately, the place was kind of a locked down, so there weren't too many people around at that point. The lady who showed us around was very helpful, very nice, and told me just about everything I needed to know. They had a lot of activities like bus trips. In a normal time, there seemed to be a lot things going. The apartments that I saw were very nice. They had a very nice living room, a nice bedroom, a balcony, a closet, a nice bathroom, and I kitchen I wasn't too crazy about.

We just moved my Mom into River Bay Club after having her live with us for a year, she loves it and is getting her independence back and loves it. I felt so guilty having her leave. She is living in a shared apartment and has a wonderful roommate. She loves going down to the dining room and talking with people. She really is happy and loves having her independence. I never realized how much she was depending on us, and she really only had us to talk to. I would tell anyone who feels guilty about putting their loved one into independent or assisted living, it may just be the best thing in the world for them. It was for my Mom.

River Bay is superior; my mother is happy there. They do yoga, bingo, they have a library, and there are mild exercise classes. She’s just getting into the whole thing; she is not there yet. It’s just lovely all the way around. The room is beautiful, the facility is clean, it doesn’t smell, and it's quiet. It’s a perfect facility.

I visited River Bay Club. Of all the ones that I saw, this was the one that I was going to try to utilize. It was excellent and relatively modern. They had the best activities for my mother. Everybody was excellent and professional. They showed me some of the types of activities that they do, and I saw pictures of them. They have a couple of special dinners, and they set up outside to make it different and fun. They try to make it really nice for the residents there.

My aunt is at River Bay Club. She has been there for a year and a half. This place is in a very nice area. It is within a mile to the hospital. The facility is plenty big. There is a porch all around the building. The place is a big area where they can walk. What I like best about this one is the openness. It is set up more like a hotel than an assisted living. I like the activity. There are plenty of activities. It is a very active community. The staff is very pleasant and very cooperative. The management seems to be very caring. As far as the aides go, some of them leave a lot to be desired. This needs to be addressed. If they are going to be in the job, then they need to care about the person and be more attentive to the person. Also, they don't get my aunt out enough into the activities. There are only two girls there that actually encourage activity with her, which is what she needs. Overall though, I think it is a very nice place. I would recommend this place to others.

The room sizes at River Bay Club were quite big. I saw one room and it was really huge. It has a big living room, two big bedroom, good-sized bathrooms. Their price was also lower than the other ones I've visited. They were able to call me again and see how I was doing. There was a good size dining room and plenty of staff. They have plenty of places for social activity on one of the floors and the overall place, I did like it. It was close to transportation and they also provide transportation to the residents.

River Bay Club was just a single building in a fairly adequate neighborhood. It’s a neighborhood where I would never feel safe walking around the block. The staff was accommodating and friendly. First of all, everyone there was ninety years old and I’m sixty-six, so I didn’t really feel it was all right to have been there at all. I was sad that I wasted the whole morning there. I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody. The physical accommodations were borderline seedy. The staff was nice enough, the few that I met, but they seemed to be eighty to ninety years old.

The rooms at River Bay Club were nice. The singles were very, very small for the price. The staff was very accommodating. We had set up a time to come, and they took us through the whole place and showed us everything. They went through all the different activities that they do. They take them shopping a couple of times a week. They go bowling, they go to the malls, and they have pool tables. They have story time, and people come in and do yoga with them. They have three meals a day. They had assisted living there, but it was more independent, like he would be on his own a lot. If we wanted to have the assisted living, we would have to pay a lot more.

I visited River Bay Club. It was a high rise facility, which was very nice, spotless and nicely furnished. The staff was also very nice and competent. They had very nicely layout rooms with air-conditioning and heating which seemed very good. I saw the menu, it look fantastic and the meals were great. They had physical therapy, a gymnasium, and all of those benefits of retired living that should be there. They had all the levels of care. But they were expensive.

River Bay Club was a very nice facility; however, it was more assisted living than independent living. The people there were more informed than I would want to be associated with. Even the executive director who took us around agreed that it was not for me, so that was that.

My sister has been in River Bay Club for a few weeks now. She likes it a lot and she is comfortable there. It is a very nice and very clean facility. Her room is not that big, it's a studio, but it is big enough for her. The food is very nice there and the staff is very friendly.

Overall, River Bay Club in Quincy was a great place for assisted living, and I would recommend it for anyone and any of their family members, should they need the assistance. First of all, the place is beautiful. There is a beautiful view from the windows and the place is very well furnished. From what I hear, the food is wonderful, and it claims to be healthy, especially for those who are elderly. In addition to all of this, there are a lot of ways the River Bay Club tries to form a community with all of its people. For one, there are many events that attempt to get the residents together, and there is a common room where folks can just "hang out." Every resident is well taken care of, and many services are carried out, including the cleaning of linens. Overall, River Bay Club is a wonderful place and I would live there at any time, not just if I needed assistance!

This facility was the cheapest we could find. It seems to be nice, he has been in there for almost 2 months so far and hasn't had any complaints. There are activities for him to participate in and as far as we can tell he is happy. I have tried to food and it was real home cooked stuff, not frozen microwave dinners.

My mother-in-law lived at the River Bay Club for several years. She suffered from an ear problem which caused her to fall frequently and as a consequence she broke her hip bone and had other breaks as well. It became impossible for her to live independently. We selected the River Bay Club for her because she needed somewhere safe to live as well as the ability to maintain her independence. Her living quarters consisted of a small studio apartment with complete kitchen and lovely view. The common facilities provided her with many opportunities for social interaction. A grand piano was available for the use of the residents and this definitely lent an air of communal spirit and belonging to most of the people. As far as food goes, the menu was delightful. My husband and children dined in the cafeteria and were served and delicious and nutritious meal comparable to any served in a better than average restaurant. The facilities also included a hairdresser and gym. Frequent group outings allowed for shopping and outdoor fun.We were grateful that the River Bay Club was available to provide my mother-in-law with a comfortable and safe home with many services.

My mother, who has gotten on in years decided she wanted to go into assisted living. We offered to have her move in with us, but she wanted to be around people of her age. We toured many facilities and she chose the River Bay Club in Quincy, MA. The staff was very friendly and the environment seemed very pleasant. The cost was a little higher than some of the other places we had toured, but in the end you do get what you pay for, and I wanted my mother to be happy. The River Bay Club was neat and attractive, the rooms are spacious, and include a small kitchen, which was very attractive to my mother. The River Bay Club was not only a clean and attractive property, but there were many activities and facilities at the location. There was a Beauty shop on site so she would not have to leave to get her hair done. There was a very nice fitness room as well. In the end, she is very happy with the River Bay Club and recommends it.
