We chose Sunrise of Norwood. They've been very nice, The people that I've met have been great. My father's room is fine, there's enough space, he's in a 1-bedroom, and he's been there a month. The people living there are at various levels of cognition, but everyone is friendly and open. They have daily activities, and there's an event calendar, and they have transport services to doctor's appointments, and outing. It's cheaper than what he pays before.

I went to Sunrise of Norwood. I love that place. It's beautiful. It's a mansion that some doctor owned. The staff was awesome. They had the best overall facility as far as homeyness and ease of getting mom to her meals. But I think the location just wasn't going to be as easy for me to do the servicing once I realized I had to do this wound care thing. So, Sunrise is a great place. It was wonderful. It was reasonably priced. They were wonderful people. They spent a good amount of time with me. They gave me a lot of information. They were very knowledgeable. The place had zero smell of any kind. It was perfectly clean.

Sunrise of Norwood was very nice. It's a fairly new facility and it looks like it's maintained well. I was there near lunchtime and there were residents there that were walking towards the cafeteria. Everybody seemed to be friendly. The person that was giving me the tour seemed to know all the people by name as they were heading towards the lunch area. They told me that they had two seatings and plastic barriers at the tables so that they could keep distancing. It seemed to be a very well run place. The rooms seemed to be very clean and not confining. The rooms were good size so you wouldn't feel like you're closed in. It was a very nice facility. The one person I interacted with knows their business and knows about their facility. It's a beautiful building.

*The rooms looks like a use motel. *The staff don't even understand what you talking about most of the time. *The residents enjoy going out.

At Sunrise of Norwood, I had a very nice tour and met very nice and knowledgeable people. I got a full tour of the building, the elevators, the lobby, the dining room and what they offer and whatnot. I was given a description of the activities and things they offer, the groups and outings, but I didn't see anything live while I was there. Their rooms are more like studios, and it was just small to me.

Sunrise was a very nice place but too old for me. The people were in wheelchairs and walkers and needed more help. I liked the location. The rooms were adequate.

I usually visit my cousin who is residing in Sunrise of Norwood. The place is lovely, clean, and very home-like. It is not a large institution. It’s more like a big, old-fashioned home. If I go in and don't see my cousin in his regular place smoking in the corner, I ask for his location and the staff knows exactly where he is. Once, when I was visiting, the residents were saying the rosary. It made me very happy. I have also found them playing bingo and question games with the residents many times.

My visit at Sunrise of Norwood was very positive. We saw several of the rooms, dining rooms, and various rooms that residents could visit. They have a library, a recreational area, and a place where they hold their activities. The place was very large and very clean. The setting and location were very favorable and nice back in the residential area. The interior was very nice. Everybody that we talked to was very positive. From my limited exposure to all of these places, I was very impressed with this one.

I have situated mom at Sunrise of Norwood, and I am really happy with it. She is ecstatic being there although it has been a roller coaster. She has been in the emergency room and had to leave and go to rehab. I’ve had a burger and a salad, and she seems to like the food. They do take them out and do different things. She is comfortable and happy, and the staff has been extremely helpful.

My parents were originally at Sunrise of Norwood, and as far as assisted living, they are fine, but as far as anybody with dementia or Alzheimer's, I would never recommend it. They were there for two months, and it was a disaster. The rooms were fine, but when you need dementia care, you are exiled to the third floor, and you are at the mercy of somebody taking you down the elevator if you want to be able to get out and do anything. They can only go outside if somebody takes them outside. They can't be on their own. The food was fine, and the staff was very nice.

The staff is among the most caring of any facility I've ever been too. They take excellent care of my Dad.

I was impressed with everything about Sunrise. I was also impressed with how clean they were, and for me that was very important. The staff was fabulous. They were excellent. Everyone was very friendly. I thought the one-bedroom unit was perfect for my parents. They also had so many rooms to go to during the day, and that's basically what they needed.

Facility looks very nice and clean. Very nicely done. From what I hear the food could use improvement. Also there should be more activities for the residents. Overall I would give the place a beer eating thank you

Sunrise of Norwood has been a great place for my mother to live over the past few years. The staff is always friendly and caring. Whenever I walk in I am greeted by someone. There are many activities daily which my mom occasionally takes part in. Sunrise has done a great job of restoring my moms speech and building up her muscles after she had her stroke. My mom seems to love it there and has made some good friends while living there. The dining hall is very nice and the food is relatively good. Only down sides to living there is the prices and the long waits to get help. They use a system where you put the phone of the dock which signals a staff member to go to that room to assist the person. Sometimes it takes up to 30 minutes and occasionally I will see employees sitting around when they could be helping. Overall my time and my mothers time at Sunrise of Norwood has been very positive.
