My friend is in assisted living at The Branches of Marlboro. It's clean. They have open spaces. The room is clean and calm. The bathroom is very handicapped-accessible. The staff seems to be friendly, welcoming, and willing to work with you. My friend likes the food. Food is high on the list, so that is great. And if she doesn't like the two main courses being offered, there are always things that are offered that she likes such as egg salad sandwiches and things like that. They had some bingo recently. They had a pina colada afternoon which she partook in, both nonalcoholic and alcoholic. They recently had a trip to the local botanical gardens. They have a group that arranges flowers for the tables every Wednesday. They have an exercise group every morning at 10, chair yoga, and so forth. They have things going on in the library like a couple of different types of books, games, and things. I went and ate lunch with my friend last week, and there was a woman there who was talking about trying to get a knitting group started. In my understanding they're flexible according to the resident's interests. And sometimes the trips are to Walmart and Dollar Tree.

I toured The Branches of Marlboro. It seemed very friendly. It's very open. There are a lot of places where you can meet other people or other people may be gathered and you could join them. You also have your own space and just close the door and you're in your own little space. The staff were all so friendly. They'd look up from what they were doing to smile and say, "Hi. Welcome", and they were very nice. They have puzzles put out for anybody to do. I saw two rooms and both were extremely clean.

The Branches of Marlboro was a beautiful place. My dad toured with me and he has a standup walker with him, but he could maneuver that throughout the entire facility. Even when we went into the room, he could bring that giant upright walker everywhere. Transitioning from threshold to threshold wasn't an issue. He could bring it into the bathroom all the way right up to the toilet. He didn't have to set it aside. He can do laps up and down the hallways, so he could do some walking exercises. It was an excellent visit. Brittany sat down and talked to us for an hour and a half before we even started the tour. I was very, very pleased with that. We didn't meet a lot of the staff. We saw them interacting with the few residents that were there and everyone just seemed very happy. The facility looked immaculate.

My aunt has moved to The Branches of Marlboro. We chose this place because we were very impressed with the professionalism and the facility itself. The staff seems very involved and engaged with not only my aunt, but other patients, and they seem concerned for her well-being. They offered us an opportunity to eat and the food was very good. In terms of portions, they don't do not restrict them if they want more to eat, they allow them to eat what they eat as much as they want. They provide activities and exercise, they provide interactive crafts, and music. It's not far from the Marlborough Hospital, there is a restaurant right up the road called The 99, there is a Walmart close, and it's very conveniently located off of Interstate 495.

The Branches of Marlboro was the one I liked the best, so far, because the location was comfortable for me and the price was less compared to other places. I liked the available amenities. I liked the rooms. They looked very comfortable and big enough for 2 people. The people that I met were very pleasant.

I toured The Branches of Marlboro, I like the cleanliness and the food. They have very good food, and the dining room was just a typical dining room. I saw every type of food that they had. They had a single bedroom, single with a shared common area, and a full suite. The rooms were spacious and clean. They have a van that takes them shopping or to doctors' appointments on certain days. They have group activities, they have entertainment come in, and they have movie nights.

The Branches of Marlboro was my second choice. I liked the services provided, the staffing, just the ability to tailor my parent's needs and proximity. It was very clean, well kept, no weird odors, or anything like that. It's just a very nice, well-kept facility. Even with the clearing of the snow, they did a very good job of ensuring the parking lot was clear and manageable. It was not far from where I live. It was a good space for outdoor scenery, but not right on top of a highway. It was easy to get to, but not secluded.

I looked at The Branches of Marlboro, and the biggest complaint I had was that for the price range, you end up with a shared room with another resident, which really reduces the size of your unit. They do offer a much more extensive assisted living though, but you're paying a price for that because you're assessed when you come in. I didn't think my sister was going to benefit from that type of care in her current condition since it isn't so bad that she needs that kind of care. However, I thought they were really quite competitive, they were very attentive, and provided me with everything I asked for. I would recommend this place if you have a person who needs assisted living. It might be a good place to look.
