My mom moved to Sunrise of Lynnfield. One of the things that impressed me was most of the people who work there have been there for years. The people are always smiling and happy, and very helpful. She got one of the bigger rooms with a two-bedroom with a small dining room and a bathroom. They have a library and a TV video room. They have an arts and crafts room. They have a beautiful garden area with trees, flowers, and bushes. There are lots of things they do including shopping trips. They walk, play games, and have parties, too.

My husband is currently at Sunrise of Lynnfield. It's nice. I like it, and he likes it, too. It doesn't look like a hospital. It's very homey. It's like a hotel, which is nice. It doesn't have that medical feel to it, which so many people are accustomed to. He has more freedom there. They make sure that he's up all the time. He goes to breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They'll come and get him, so he doesn't forget. They get him ready, and they take him down. He can't walk, so they have to put him on a Hoyer lift to get him in the wheelchair. He's getting to meet all the people and he seems to enjoy it. He's a lot better than he was when he was in the nursing home. It's very clean. They're always there for you. If you call them, they'll come. I mean, I'm pleased with it. The room is a two-bedroom, and they're separated by a wall and a door. They have an opening where they have a refrigerator, a sink, and cabinets, and then they have a bathroom. The two bedrooms are side by side with a wall separating it. There's a door that you can lock on both rooms, and that's about it. There's no cooking or stove in there. It's a shared room but they're a private bedroom. They share the bathrooms, the refrigerator, the sink, and all that. They have amusements. They have a four-piece band the other day. They played music and they had everybody singing along, and that was nice. They have a happy hour where they'll serve a little wine to all the patients if they want it or something to drink, and that was fun. Then they have games that they play, they do that downstairs in the main lobby and near the dining room. People seem to like it. It's a lot better than a nursing home. They have entertainment, and they have other things that go on. I don't know all of them, but I know they listed them on a board down in the lobby what's going to go on for that day. I'm happy with the facility. The staff is very nice, too. They're always there to help them. I haven't seen any problems. My husband is not complaining. They help him dress, they help him get washed, and they help him brush his teeth. They remind him to do that. They're very good. The food is good. My husband likes it. I've had it and it's fine. They have your soup/salad, they have your entrée, they have your dessert, and they have anything you want to drink like coffee or tea. If you want a glass of wine, they'll give you a glass of wine, too. You can have as much as you want. If you want a second, they'll get it for you. The facility is very nice. The outside is beautiful with beautiful flowers, the landscaping and all. They got a big open yard. You can have your pet there, too. They take trips. They have a bus that they take the patients out. They'll take them out on trips. They took them out for ice cream the other day. They asked them all to get on the bus and they went for ice cream. It's a little high priced but then when you add all the different things that they add on, you got to leave a deposit for this and that, it's a little expensive, but I think they're all the same when it comes to price depending on your condition when you go in. As for my husband, we have to pay more because he can't walk, and he needs more help than other people. He's paying a little extra. He's in an area where they'll have nurses 24 hours if he needed one.

We toured Sunrise of Lynnfield. They weren't as impressive as we were hoping. It is very expensive. I think they had more hours of nursing care available and things like that. We didn't like the layouts of the rooms. The staff I met seemed fine and knowledgeable. They offered us food, but we did not try it. There were activities throughout the day, as with all the places we visited. They have exercising every day.

Sunrise of Lynnfield was very modern. It's a large facility. It lives up to its name. There were a lot of windows in there. It looked very bright inside and very clean. The rooms themselves were very nice and there was enough space for one person. It looked very modern and well kept up. The dining room looked very nice. It seemed like they have experienced staff there. It's a very nice facility. I only met two people, and they were very attentive. They explained how the place operates and they entertained any questions that I had. No place is perfect, but it seemed very roomy and very well organized and it smelled good. There were no foul odors that I could detect. It looked like they had good maintenance there. The place seemed clean. They have a nice outside area and if you wanted to tend to a personal garden, you can do that.

I went to see Sunrise of Lynnfield. My overall impression was good. The staff were really nice. However, my mother didn't like the facility. I really don't know why, she just didn't like it. I liked it. It was a clean facility. It had a nice terrace area in the back, which was really nice. The staff was friendly. We saw a room. it was a good-sized room. I liked it. They actually have a room, which is on the corner of the building, so you actually have two views and you can actually see two different directions. I like that feature. Unfortunately, that's the only one they had available, and it's' their most expensive unit. The facility is also more expensive.

Sunrise seemed crowded, rundown, and a little worn. The staff was kind and polite. We did not taste any food, but the dining area had a worn out look. We watched one session of activities and a game. They had a list of activities for the folks every day.

Sunrise of Lynnfield was very nice, but very expensive, and it's not what we were looking for. That's more of assisted living, and my aunt needed more of a long term. One woman was very nice and the other one was very pushy, and I did not like her at all. The single rooms were very nice, but they also had shared rooms. I saw the library and the dining room. They had activities as well.

Our mother lived at Sunrise of Lynnfield for the last three years of her life. The team there could not have been more supportive and helpful to her. As her needs for care continued to increase, Sunrise was able to add staff to make sure our mother got the care she needed without having to move to a skilled nursing facility. She was made to feel that she was part of an extended family at Sunrise. At the end, the staff in concert with All Care Hospice made sure that she was comfortable and at peace.

I visited Sunrise of Lynnfield, and I saw that it was a very lovely place. The girl who accommodated me spent a lot of time with me. She showed me everything and explained everything. She was very, very nice. The only thing I did not like about it was that they were too aggressive. The rooms were very nice, and they have a lot of activities for everybody to do.

We placed my parents in Sunrise of Lynnfield. It couldn’t have been better. It has been absolutely wonderful. The caregivers are fantastic. They have entertainment in the afternoon. Many times they have social-time, they go to bingo, and they do exercise in the morning. Practically all the activities they have participated in, and they love it.

We visited Sunrise of Lynnfield. We didn’t think that they presented themselves professionally nor were we impressed with the person that gave us the tour. The facility was fine, but it wasn’t as nice as the other places we visited. The room was fine, but, again, not as nice. It didn’t seem as fresh.

Sunrise at Lynnfield had a lot of activities and pleasant staff. We went there for a tour. It was a very nice place. However, location was not convenient. My mom does not drive on the highway, and it would require highway driving for her if she wanted to go out. They showed us the different rooms, and comparing it to where my parents were, it was not as spacious for a couple coming from a home and going into assisted living. The staff was very accommodating and helpful.

I picked Sunrise of Lynnfield because they are close by and the experience so far has been fine. They're very helpful to my mother. She needs a lot of care and everybody's very nice and very patient. It's very pretty and very home like, too. It does not look like a hospital or a nursing home.

My second choice was Sunrise of Lynnfield. The intake officer, Christy, was also very nice and very positive, a very kind person to put my worries at ease, which is a really nice feeling when you walk in somewhere. The building itself was beautiful, the gardens were lovely and maintained, and the inside of the building looked like home; it doesn't look like an institution. The third floor or the secured floor for the dementia patients was really nicely laid out. I did not meet the caring staff, but I saw some aides with the patients, and it looked nice. Everyone was smiling, the patients were all dressed nicely, and they looked well-cared for and busy. The rooms were clean and lovely -- just the way it is at home. From what I have seen and what I have been told, it was great. They probably have the right people working there who actually care for the patients. They actually have a house cat and a house dog. This cat and this dog are allowed to travel up and down the floor from assisted living to the dementia unit and interact with the residents, and I find that very homely.

Sunrise of Lynnfield was a lot more private. It was more like a townhouse feel; it was very small, the rooms were smaller. It will almost give you the feeling like you were on top of each other because it was so small; you couldn’t really spread out, so that’s why she didn’t like it there. The staff did basically the same thing with the application, we are asking all the medical information, their daily routines, what they like, what they don’t like, how much privacy they like, how much help they need, and it was still a great staff. It was almost in the industrial commercial area and that was the other thing that my mother really didn’t like. They weren’t as many choices for the activities, but they seem to take good care of them. It still had a post office and hairdresser but I was afraid she gets bored there as there wasn’t enough to do.

My mother is safe and well taken care of at Sunrise of Lynnfield. It's clean. They have nice meals every day, and they’re just very engaged with everybody. I’ve seen and heard of other places; I check out a lot. The people there were really good. They’re just very professional and very caring people. They really care about their residents. I’m happy that she’s there. I’m not happy about the situation of course, but I think she’s in the best place I could’ve had her go to. I was just so in love with it as soon as I saw it.

I already found a place for my dad. I've already signed an agreement and we're all set. It is called Sunrise of Lynnfield. This was our choice because of its proximity. It is close and it is a very nice place. They have very beautiful accommodations. They also offer a shuttle for their residents.

I thought Sunrise of Lynnfield was lovely. We went there unannounced and so we did not get to go beyond the second floor. We did not get to see the memory care unit which was more appropriate for my mom, since the first two floors were too busy for her. I told my husband that we could move in there if we didn't want to live in a house anymore. It was very busy and the residents seemed to have their own guests. It seemed like a nice hotel to stay for the rest of our lives as long as we were active. The activity level were more inclined to people my age around 70 years old on the first two floors.

Sunrise of Lynnfield seemed a nice place. The people in charge were quite friendly. We looked at a couple of the rooms and we talked about prices. We looked at their activity schedule. The staff were very nice and knowledge, very informative. I would recommend the people to look at the place if they are interested.

Sunrise of Lynnfield is a large assisted living facility located in Lynnfield, MA. I visit the assisted living facility regularly to perform nursing care for several residents. I'm not employed by Sunrise assisted living. The facility is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The facility is well maintained with clean surroundings and well manicured gardens. The building is well secured. Visitors are required to sign in and out. Resident's private rooms are clean and spacious. Meals are served three times daily and snacks are also available. During my visits, staff members are always friendly and helpful. They assist residents with medication reminders, personal care, meals laundry and participation in recreation activities. 24 hr nursing care is also available. So far, my patients seem to like the services offered by Sunrise of Lynnfield. Sunrise of Lynnfield is located 5 minutes from Union Hospital.

I am a 22-year-old female and my grandmother was a resident of this facility for about 3 years while dealing with health problems and afflictions related to her diabetes and general poor health. She was wary at first of living away from the family but we realized we no longer had the space or capability to help her live her life to the fullest, so we shopped around and chose Sunrise. She was very happy with the service and care she was provided, and although she's not generally a very social person, she did find that she had a sense of community and friendship, not just the feeling of being a patient, like in a hospital, or treated like an invalid. Sunrise helped get my grandmother back on her feet and helped her feel slightly more independent. She did sometimes feel like she was being sentenced to a lifetime of assisted care, like she wasn't expected to ever recover or be able to have full recovery of her faculties again, which is the only reason that I probably would not give Sunrise a perfect review.
