My mom had fallen and ended up in the hospital. We realized that she could not live at home any longer. We visited many assisted living facilities. Wingate had everything as far as rehab, memory care, nursing home. The rooms are gorgeous over looking the lake and garden. She went from rehab to assisted living. She was not easy to deal with but the staff was able to win her over. My moms health declined quickly. The staff went above and beyond to make my mom and our family comfortable. If I ever had any concerns they always addressed it and never dismissed it. My mom passed in March 2022. I have zero regrets and would recommend Wingate Inn to any of my friends looking for elder care.

Wingate Residences at Silver Lake was a little older, but it's well kept, smells good, and looks good. The whole area was carpeted. I felt the staff were top shelf. They were very accommodating and very understanding. They brought us around and showed us the room. I felt the room was very well equipped, yet again, not as nice as the brand-new facility in another place that I've been to, but it's well kept, clean, and smells good. I saw the dining area and it looked very nice. They didn't have as many amenities as far as resident activities and stuff like that, but it was still very well maintained, and I was very pleased and impressed with it. They took us to several areas, but there was very little activity that we noticed. It was 10:00 in the morning or maybe around lunchtime for them, so there were very few people that were milling about, and I didn't really see where they were.

We visited the memory care of Wingate Residences at Silver Lake, and it was beautiful. I was greeted by the staff who were very amenable, very friendly, and very knowledgeable. The facility will allow my brother to wander all day and not have to fear that he will elope. They had all kinds of activities going on all day long. I love the fact that he will have his own room and be checked on always. When I was there, there was certainly enough aides to monitor the residents. I also love the fact that they'll be providing three meals with other individuals, so that he can make friends and have some socialization. They have a courtyard in the middle where he can go out, which is something he loves to do, and so I really feel like it's going to be a tremendous fit. It's close to my daughter and her family. If family comes up, she can get there pretty quickly. I was pretty pleased with it.

I honestly thought that Wingate Residences at Silver Lake was way too small. The facility looked nice. They had plenty of activities. The restaurant looked like it would be okay. But I just felt the individual living units were not what we were looking for. They were small. The staff who I met was very helpful, gave a lot of information, and very pleasant.

We looked at Wingate Residences at Silver Lake. It was pleasant. The staff was very nice, very helpful, and very kind. The facility was very nice, clean, and bright. The apartment we saw was nice, it was decent-sized. It was close to our house. It was reasonably priced compared to another facility we looked at.

My mother will be moving into Wingate Residences at Silver Lake. We chose it for the location as well as the standard of finishes in the space. The common areas and the living quarters were super important to me for my mother because unfortunately, with her diagnosis of Lewy body, it puts her into memory care, but she's really an assisted living candidate. We also like the fee structure there. With her increased care, the fee wouldn't change. It changes with the cost of living increases every year. They also have a nursing home facility there should it be needed at a future date, so she can transition to that should there be a bed available, and so we like all of that about Wingate. It looked like there was quite a bit to do. The calendar is quite full, and when we walked through for our tour, they were actually all together in a group having a group discussion about opinions and things that they would like to see on their menus. So, I felt like it was a nice fit for her.

I toured the Wingate Residences at Silver Lake. It was very good. They were very informational and answered every question I had. They have rooms, they have what I would call a common area room gathering, and elevators all through the place. That's really nice and I just did a quick tour and talked to people. Everything I saw there was very good. They gave me pretty much a complete tour of the whole place. The dining area is big, wide, and open. It's very nice. Everything looks newish, clean. I only saw one room, that was like an efficiency apartment, and it was very nice, it was clean, upkeep, and all that.

We visited Wingate Residences at Silver Lake and spent a lot of time there. I thought it was fine. Our biggest concern is the finances. We looked at independent living. You can do an ala carte menu, which really seemed to work out pretty well. It was clean. It seemed like a very nice facility. We thought it would work out well, except for the finances. We felt that we would run out of money too quickly. My mother thought that the rooms were a little bit smaller than she would like, but I think we would've gotten around that if it wasn't for the money aspect. They have three meals a day. They have transportation to doctors' offices, and they have programs that they provide throughout the week. They also have a courtyard and have programs outside when the weather is reasonable for it. The person who gave the tour was very helpful, very pleasant, and encouraging. I thought she did everything as well as could be done.

We will be moving into Wingate Residences at Silver Lake. I chose them because of the gardens, the people, and the activities. They have a walking group. They have art, a small gym and a beautiful dining room. The menu seemed very, very nice. There are a lot of exercise groups. There are different types of groups and different levels of exercising. The place is absolutely immaculate including the grounds outside. They have so many places you can go sit and meditate if you want or whenever you need to just get away for a minute. They take you on a bus ride to different places to visit museums. They all around have basically everything I think anybody would be interested in. They even have a cooking club, a sewing group, card games, and everything. There are three meals a day. It's all-inclusive (except for your phone and cable), which is very reasonable.

The staff is so caring - from CNA to healthcare to leadership, all worked well to make our experience at Wingate great over the two years my dad lived there.

Wingate Residences at Silver Lake was probably the best place I've ever been to, but my mother wanted was a two-bedroom, which is hard to find down here in Kingston. I would rate the lady that I met a five, definitely, and even the front desk lady was so nice. There's so much you have to do when you walk into these buildings now with the COVID-19, but even the front desk woman was appropriate and careful; she was great. The rooms and dining area were like a hotel, they were really, really nice. The room we looked at wasn't spacious, but it's indicative of assisted living situations that you're not going to find the palacial places with big, gorgeous rooms. The rooms here were bigger than the rooms in the other place we visited. They were a good size compared to others we've looked at. It was really homey and comfortable, and the residents were really happy. It's a great place and I was pleasantly surprised at how great they were.

My father has been in the assisted living facility for respite care for several weeks. He and our family are very pleased with the care he has received and with the overall experience. He loves his apartment and says he feels like he's being treated like a king by his aids and the staff. He loves the food. The grounds are very pretty. The facility feels warm and inviting. I've noticed that most of the residents there seem content and happy, which says a lot.

I visited Wingate At Silver Lake. The grounds were very good and very picturesque right on the lake, nestled in the trees. It was nice. I didn't see or talk to enough staff. The layout was nice. They had very nice walking paths throughout the grounds. The pricing was comparable to the others in the area. The location was not very convenient unless you live near that area.

Everyone seems very nice and hardworking at The Inn at Silver Lake. The dining room is very nice, and the facility is very pretty. They had a lot of food choices, and the food is very good. My grandmother has been there for just about two weeks now.

Mom is in The Inn at Silver Lake which the assisted living part of Wingate Silver Lake. It is very good, and so far we are very pleased. The apartments are large and spacious. I think the food is very good, but my mom is not so thrilled with it. The dining room is large enough, and it is fine. They have all the typical activities that you find in an assisted living place.

My family member used to reside in this facility. The staff was good but definitely understaffed always looking rushed and stressed out. The food was horrendous, no fresh vegetables, instant mashed potatoes and a repetitive menu from week to week. The director didn't seemed concerned with the complaints and had a if you don't like it here then go elsewhere which we did. Everything the marketing person told us was the exact opposite of how this experience would be. If you visit on weekends you will get a better view of what real life is at this facility as management is no where to be found and not enough aides to care for the residents. You feel as bad for the staff as you do the residents of this facility as you can see on the whole they try hard there just isn't enough of them.

My mom used to be in Wingate. They were very good. They came to clean once a week and it was okay. There were a couple nurses there that were absolutely wonderful. They were caring and concerned. Depending on the individual, some of them would go the extra mile. However, the higher up on the hierarchy you go, the less you could expect from them in terms of compassion and actual efforts. The director as far as I am concerned was useless. I thought that I was going to get more from a place that advertises itself as having nursing care, but when pushed, they threw the old: "Well that's not my job at you because it was not a nursing home, but an assisted living".
