We settled on Haverhill Crossings. We’re very happy with it. It was a very easy process as they had been very accommodating. It seems to be a high class place. All of the help from the top right down to the housekeepers have been great. She shares a 2-bedroom unit with another woman. Her room is very small, and they did take the cat. The place is immaculate, and the food is wonderful.

I toured Benchmark Senior Living at Haverhill Crossings. I liked the options and the inclusivity of more of the personal care, like haircuts and nails being part of the community, and having everybody available, like having that as an option. The dining area looked lovely, and the folks that lived there seemed to enjoy it. And it was a nice environment. It was very pleasant, it looked very clean, and it was just very welcoming. The staff was very nice, very informative, and attentive.

Benchmark Senior Living at Haverhill Crossings was very nice. The advantage of that place was that it's all on one single floor for memory care. Their staff was very friendly. They all smiled and the residents that we saw were very, very friendly to us. We just peeked into some occupied rooms. It was a double room with a shared area. We saw the dining room and the common areas, like the recreation room or day room, and all were very nice and clean.

My father was at Benchmark Senior Living at Haverhill Crossings and I wouldn't recommend it to somebody deep in dementia. They are more talk than action. My father had a delivery of VA medications, and they lost them. We kept them updated with everything that we were sending for his needs and they weren't reciprocating, saying that they got the stuff. They didn't put any of his clothing away or help him hang any of his clothing. His room was pretty much in a disarray. They didn't help him with cleaning his room very much. It was kind of a mess. He was in memory care. They need to learn more about the disease of dementia itself and how to handle that with their staff because I don't think they know what they're doing.

Benchmark Senior Living at Haverhill Crossings is not what I expected but it's ok. The staff was nice and the rooms were nice. But I wasn't impressed by them at all. I was kind of disappointed at the dining room, the staff didn't take us in and that would have been one of the things that probably would have sold me on it.

The staff at Benchmark Senior Living seemed very nice. I was there to talk to the director -- who's in charge to see if my dad was able to go there -- and she was very nice, very helpful, and very pleasant to talk to. The food was very nice; they said that they do help cater to the individual's needs with food. I saw the dining room, and it seemed very nice. I think they take them on trips. The security seemed good; they did have entrances that were locked where it seemed fine to me. It?s a very pretty place; I thought the facility was very comfortable. The grounds were pretty, and everybody I encountered was nice at that time; I was treated very well.

Haverhill Crossings was beautiful. The common area was very nice; it was like a hotel or restaurant. They had a pool table and a TV room. They had posted activities that they could sign up for on a weekly basis. The people were very friendly and accommodating, and the staff was very kind and very passionate.

Haverhill is not as upscale as the other facility, but it’s still very nice. We did not eat there, but they are very helpful and the rooms were very nice too. They showed us their calendar of activities.

Haverhill Crossings was a large facility, so that it seemed like if you walked into it, you think you're in an apartment complex and the people appeared to be very independent. The location was good. One thing I would say wasn't a plus was it seemed to be extremely large, so I don't know how much one-on-one attention the residents would get. I was a little concerned about that. The other thing it came down to with them as well was it was costly. The decision came down to that - it had to do with cost. I talked to one person. He was very nice and very informative. He showed me a unit that was available. The rooms had very good size. They had both 1-bedroom units and studio apartments. I did not see a whole lot of interaction with people who were there.

Haverhill Crossings seemed like a very nice facility. The facility was very appealing from the outside and we liked the actual phases that they had inside for their residents. The people were very helpful and informative. They were able to tell us a lot of information that people need to know when they are in the situation where they are looking for assisted living facility.

My father is a resident of the Harbor, a memory impaired unit at Haverhill Crossings. The Harbor is a locked unit with the capacity for 25 residents. The staff is phenomenal!! They are very observant, compassionate and caring, and quick to report anything out of the ordinary. They treat their "family" with dignity and respect...and are very sensitive to their moods and changes. Our family have been very pleased with all the care provided for our Dad.

My dad lived here. It was a hard time for our family because my dad's health was declining. The staff was always caring and compassionate and they took the time to help us whenever we had a question or concern. My dad loved his caregivers and felt that "the girls" were like his second family. If you feel like your parents aren't totally safe by themselves anymore, this is a good option to consider.
