My father was a resident of Bluebird Estates. They were absolutely wonderful and had a nice family-like setting. They really cared about the people who lived there. The staff members were all wonderful. The food was pretty good and had a limited selection. They always posted a meal plan. The menu always had options. They always had snacks, coffee, and tea available. It was a nice dining setup. They had housekeeping, onsite laundry, once-a-week movie night, bingo, a bunch of clubs available that you could join, and a community garden in which you could participate. It wasn't cheap, but they provided everything that you could possibly need.

Extremely expensive for what you get. The food is substandard and they are always running out. Glad we moved. The residents, however, are wonderful!

I toured Holiday Bluebird Estates. It was very pleasant, tranquil, and very welcoming. The staff who gave the tour seemed very knowledgeable, very friendly, and very welcoming. I saw an apartment that was a studio. It was very spacious, with lots of closet space, a nice-size refrigerator, and a nice balcony, and it was very clean. They had a small fitness center, a library, puzzles, and a TV room. There are a bunch of different areas where they could have parties or if the family members or residents themselves wanted to have a party there, they could. The facility itself was very clean.

Bluebird Estates was very nice. We had lunch when we got there. We got to see a bunch of different rooms and all of their activity spaces and a bunch of different ideas about the apartments. The grounds were beautiful. Everything's clean and new and very polished feeling. We didn't talk to the residents, but there was music that was happening. It was a really lovely space. The staff during the tour was nice and very helpful. I just don't think it's meeting our needs, but it's a very nice space.

Bluebird Estates was very nice. The rooms were extra large and very interesting. They were really good-sized rooms. I could fit my furniture in with no problem. They had a veranda there, too.

I visited Holiday Bluebird Estates in East Longmeadow, and I really liked it. It was nice and clean. I thought the dining area was nice and clean, too. The rooms were good, looked adequate, were a good size, and clean. They seem to have a lot of nice activities and things to do. They had a beauty salon, activities, and exercise rooms. The outdoor area was nice. Everybody had nice little decks and the grounds were pretty. The only thing that was a little different was that it was all a la carte. For example, if you wanted someone to go give your loved one medicine, that service would be ala carte, while some places are all-inclusive.

Bluebird Estates was a beautiful place. The grounds were beautiful. Everybody seemed very nice. One issue I had was there's no stove or microwave in the kitchen. That was a big thing, but everything else was beautiful. The menus looked good. The schedule looked good. It's gorgeous. Just the lack of appliances turned me off. I have a problem with rugs and the woman who showed me the unit checked and got back to me very quickly and said they could remove it, so that was good. I met with one woman who was very helpful because I had trouble parking and she answered all my questions, she was knowledgeable and very pleasant.

I toured Bluebird Estates. The facility is great, and the dining facility is great. They introduced me to the staff that does the programming, so I met one additional staff other than the supervisor. There's a gym, a library room, and a rec room. They have a lot of areas.

My mother is all set, and we moved her into Bluebird Estates. I like everything about it. I love the place itself, I love the apartments, I love the way they are, and I love the atmosphere of waiting it out in the dining room. The food there is good, and they all get out to the dining room for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It encourages socialization among seniors, and they have all kinds of group activities going on. They have people coming in playing guitars or the piano for them. To me, in my opinion, you couldn't do any better. I am so impressed. It's expensive, but when you look at expense, now there's no more all those bills at home, so I think it's an extremely good value. They have a small chapel, and it is right on my mother's floor. They have an organ, and anybody can go sit there at any time and play the organ. They have a non-denominational service sometimes. They have a beauty salon, but no one is currently working there, so I guess one way to improve is to get somebody to work at the beauty salon. My mother has a kitchenette with a small number of cabinets, a sink, and a counter enough to get herself a little meal. She can't cook in there, but it's enough for whatever she wants to do in the kitchen. It looks good, and it's fine.

Bluebird Estates is a very clean place. I think they do a good job with preventing the spread of any virus. I have tried the food once, and for me, it was very good. My dad is there and the staff is very friendly and quite helpful. They listen to music in the lobby, and do exercises regularly. There's a big calendar for all their activities and they have some fitness equipment, a beautiful outdoor area with a walking path, and a nice dining room.

Bluebird Estates was lovely. The people were very friendly and accommodating. They had limited apartments available to the size that my mother was interested in, and the prices were a little more than we were anticipating. They only had two rooms to show us. One was slightly over 600 square feet, and the other one was 500 square feet. They were both one-bedrooms with small living areas. They offer three meals a day and light housekeeping each week, which would only include vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom, changing sheets and towels, and laundering them. They said they had activities, but I don't specifically know what activities they had. They offered a movie night once a week, and they had a reading room and a puzzle room. One of the issues that my mother was frustrated at, because she liked their larger unit, that it didn't have an outside balcony, and she wanted that. They had one room that somebody had just moved out of that did have a first-floor outdoor patio, but it concerned me a little bit about safety as it had a separate entrance to the outside, so I'm concerned about whether or not that was accessible. The staff who accommodated me was very forthcoming, very knowledgeable, and very polite. He's very professional.

Bluebird Estates had activities and individual apartments and transitional backup if I needed to transition to a higher care facility. They try to keep you there as long as possible with outside services so that you don't have to go into a higher care facility if you could help it. I had a meal there and the menu selection was very accommodating. There's a wide selection of possibilities for meals and it was all good. The people I sat with also enjoyed their meal. I saw a one-bedroom, a studio, and a larger studio. I would've chosen the one-bedroom. I could barely afford it, but it was much roomier and much more comfortable, and it had a porch.

Bluebird Estates was beautiful. They're right next to a nature preserve, and that was very, very nice. The rooms that I looked at were very nice. What I liked least was the location. Everyone seemed very friendly. I would consider it if the location were different. They had studio units, which were very acceptable for me because I'm alone. They had a dining facility. One thing that I liked least about the rooms was they didn't have an oven. They just had a sink and a kitchenette. They had great activity programs, and I could take my dog with me. They had a nice reading area. As far as the facility itself minus the location, which would be a big thing with me, I'd give them a "four," but if you include the location, then it would probably be a "three." The staff was very friendly. As far as the upkeep of the building and the rooms, they were very clean, and the hallways were very clean. I didn't see any problems in any of the rooms as far as anything needing attention.

My dad moved into Bluebird Estates. It's terrific. There were ample activities before the coronavirus, it was just as advertised, and there was a lot to do. They've got a lot of community spaces for gathering, a cozy gym, and the dining hall is the center of everything. There's a library, poker area, a gaming room, a piano, a dancing/stretching area, the grounds are beautiful, and they keep them up nicely. They're making a meditation space, and there is nothing lacking from what they told me in the tour. I lived there with my father because of medical necessity, and I had the opportunity to partake of their whole menu. It's great.

We toured Bluebird Estates, and it seemed like a nice community. However, some of the rooms were quite a distance from the activities and the dining hall. The dining hall is right when you come in the entrance, and we didn't think that was a good idea. It was just too open. It must be very drafty in the winter, plus you're exposed to anybody walking in when you're in the dining hall. It wasn't personal; it was like an auditorium. The setting was not what we expected. The staff was outstanding, the people that helped us were just wonderful, they let us see several different units, and they were very friendly and very positive. The staff was very good. It was more of the setup and the design of Bluebird Estates that wasn't really going to work for us. They have a chapel, a gym, a recreational area to play games, a pool table, and an activity room.

Bluebird Estates was really good and only offered independent living. The staff was awesome. The rooms and common area were nice. I liked everything about it, but if my mother needed more assistance, you have to pay for it separately. She's going to be 90, so it wasn't feasible for us to move her up here not knowing what's going to happen in the future. It was going to be too expensive, but that was a really good option.

I liked the Bluebird Estates; the administration was very good, very kind, and took me around. The rooms are about the same size, they were clean, it didn't smell, and they were more than adequate for me. The staff is accommodating, but the geography is not going to work for me.

We just took a little tour of Bluebird Estates. The dining room was nice, and the people were friendly. It was a little more expensive than we would have liked, and so that’s why we chose the other one. The staff was nice, and everybody was friendly. It’s in a nice area and convenient to get around the different places. They have a bus that comes and picks up the residents.

Bluebird Estates was nice. The cafeteria and the dining area were really nice, and the food and service was good. We saw the one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. The rooms were nice, clean, and adequately sized. The staff was really great. They have some entertainment for their residents, like exercise and movie rooms.

I was happy with Bluebird Estate as well. It was very nice. It was not quite as large, and not quite as open, but it was nice. The staff was very nice, very caring, and very compassionate. They had something going on every day. They had called me back a couple of times to join them.
