I have visited Tabco Towers. I liked the area because I live in the area now, but I just didn't like the facility. I like the community. I wanna live in this house in the area, it's just it didn't have no waiting seat out or nothing like that, they didn't have a balcony or anything. That was a couple of years ago. They were OK. She didn't give us too much information for me, she showed us the efficiency, and I say that was way too little. They showed me nothing else; there was nothing available. It's a tall high-rise building. It was just a low apartment with one room. They were not friendly to me.

The staff at Tabco Towers was very friendly and helpful, and they answered all of my questions. As far as the place itself is concerned, I found that their place is a little too small. It was very tight and confining and there was no outdoor space at all. The units themselves were nicely laid out but they were very tiny. They only had ten 1-bedroom apartment, all of which was full at the time and they had a waiting list for those. Everything else was a studio which was approximately 375 square feet, so it's very tiny. Some of their amenities were laundry centers, one on the top floor which was the 22nd floor, and one on the basement. They have a commons room and a dining area which has a vending machine. The structure or layout of the place wasn't very user-friendly, the hallway was long, narrow and dark. You couldn't get 2 walkers beside each other in the hallway at the same time.

There's nothing good about Tabco Towers. The place was very outdated. It's a 22-story building, and I only saw two elevators that were very slow. The apartment was very outdated. The windows were old metal windows. They took me upstairs to the dining area, and the residents were sitting there. It was like being in a nursing home, and I'm not quite ready for that yet. I'm definitely not interested in that place. The lady who took me through was informative; I had no problem with her. The dining area was just an open room with tables that you would see in a banquet hall with metal tables; nothing fancy at all.

Tabco Towers was OK, but it had a pretty low standard of living. It seemed like a lot of low-income people were living there. The facility seemed clean. We looked at a studio and one-bedroom units. The hallways were clean. The residents were behaved and respectful. It seemed like a nice place for what it is. They had a common area for the residents to commune, and they had some games and televisions set up.

I went to Tabco Towers, and it was horrible. Nobody met me to do a tour, we did the tour on our own, and it's just an apartment building. It had a community area, the washers and dryers were new, but it left a bad taste in my mouth, that there was nobody to get in touch for the tour when I was there.
