We liked The Residences at Creekside. It was quiet and clean. We liked the way it was laid out. We saw a cottage, and the rooms were very nice. They're hardwood floors. The rooms were sunny. The area around it was nicely kept up with shrubs, etc. It was very nice. Because this is an independent living and a cottage, we would be doing our own food. They told us we could get food if we wanted to from the other part of the facility, but it's not directly physically connected to the building that we would be in. We were impressed with it. The staff who toured us was very helpful, not overly pushy or anything. She gave us the information that we needed. She gave us information that we might be interested in and she explained the whole place to us.

The Residences at Creekside looked nice, and the rooms were large. It was a nice area across the street from the entrance of Meritus Hospital. It was a nice grassy area that the facility was located in. They had outside seating. We saw residents sitting outside, and it was a nice area. A nice young lady gave us the tour, and I think your name was Stephanie. Everything looked good there. There was a living room, a big area, where the cafeteria was located. There were big rooms with television sets and tables for people to gather together. They had couches and soft individual chairs. Stephanie was very, very knowledgeable, very friendly, and answered all of our questions. She didn't rush us and took us around the different parts of assisted living. She explained how people were serviced in each one of these areas.

Everyone was very nice here. They showed us around and told us how to get to the other campus. Most days, they serve just two meals, but you can get a third one if you want. The staff was very informative. They talked about what they did, what the setup was, and where you could park your car. Some of the places had garages as well as a parking place and my wife was very interested in that because she was afraid the parking places might be farther away than she wanted to walk. They had an exercise area and a swimming pool with a lift.

We got my mother in here where her sister was; that’s why we decided to go there. The rooms were big and open; it’s good to get the walkers through. They got shows coming in, people singing, and bingo. The grounds were nice, and she seems to like it.
