My 102 year old mom moved in 2 weeks ago to the Assistant Living side. She’s in a comfortable studio room. The room is spacious attractive and handicapped accessible. The Staff is courteous, available and willing to assist the residents. They have sufficient activities and Mom is enjoying the meals.

I toured Charter Senior Living at Bowie for my aunt. I thought the building was very nice, what I saw there was very nice as well, this would be a great place for her to live. The staff members were all very nice, the facility was very clean and I had nothing against it. The reason why we chose the other place was that the staff was so receptive and accommodating in comparison. The rooms were nice, they had a microwave, but they didn't have any apartments. we walked through the dining area, it was very clean and very nice. They gave us some cookies to take with us, which was nice, but we did not have dinner there.

I toured Charter Senior Living at Bowie. If I could afford it even for one month, I'd go there. Mainly it's one floor. No stairs and no elevator. Number two, the food was fantastic. There are three meals a day and two snacks. Number three, it just didn't seem like it was crowded. It was close to a lot of things even if I was driving. They did provide some transportation and their activities were more than I expected. But $5000 a month, would just clean me up. It was so clean and nicely decorated. It wasn't dull. The walls of the office were gray. I like pastels and bright colors, and I think people that are getting older, they like cheerful things, too. But that was on the top of my list, and I said if I had a rich uncle that died, that's where I would go. I was excited about the food. They showed me a single room and a double room in case my husband was coming. They showed me where the dining room was and where you can have friends over for a celebration of sorts. They have an outdoor garden. I saw a barbecue grill out there. The director was informed. She answered all my questions, and she knew what she was talking about. It was at the top of my list. They had a menu at the dining room table where the condiments were, and the staff told me to pick something. I hadn't had lasagna in so long, so they picked me up a lasagna, and they gave me two thick chocolate chip cookies, a slice of strawberry cream pie, and two vegetables. It was delicious. The only thing in your room, because you can have a kitchenette set, they have an apartment-sized refrigerator and a sink, but they didn't have a microwave, but you could bring food to your room. They have a snack area with a microwave and coffee and tea provided.

The people are very courteous and very nice. They go out of their way to please you. They have different activities at different times. They said they have coffee 24 hours, which amused me. They're very pleasant, and the place was very nice. It's a relatively new facility.

I visited this community among others in the the general area. I was very pleased with the "home-like" feeling I got. The sales manager took the time to "school" me on how assisted living works and was very knowledgeable. I am eventually looking at moving my aunt from Texas to the area, and they will be on the top of my list!

We put my cousin in here. They have a full-time activities director and nurses that did the medicine management. They have exercise, trips, and singing. There is a place, a little snack area, where the residents can go if they want something. They have a salon and an activities room, and there is a courtyard garden with a fountain in addition to nice outdoor furniture outside. They have little sitting areas throughout the building where you can sit and visit, or sometimes the residents will sit and chitchat or watch television. Everybody has been very friendly and helpful. They’re pretty responsive. We have been very happy, and my cousin seems to be happy.

It seemed nice and clean. The people that work there were nice. The rooms were clean. I really didn’t go through the whole thing, but the food looked good, and it looked nice from what I saw of it.

It was a beautiful place with very beautiful grounds, a beautiful facility, very nice rooms and dining room, and a very nice, very professional staff. It seemed like the residents were just kind of sitting in a room, and I didn’t see any real activities going on at that time. I didn’t see the food, just saw the dining area, and it looked like a very nice place.

We are in the process of moving my relative in. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and showed us around. We had lunch and met some of the residents who seemed busy with different activities. The facility was light and airy and had different choices for rooms, which were painted in neutral colors, weren’t dingy, and were adequate in size.

I thought it was excellent. The staff was very knowledgeable. I was very impressed. Everything was beautiful. The only thing I would suggest is for these places to have extended hours in the evening for the working people to have time to look; I could actually have viewed more places a lot sooner.

It was too far away from me. Their rooms seemed to be smaller. They have shared rooms, too. I'm pretty sure they have bathrooms and small kitchens in their larger rooms. With regards to their staff, they seemed to treat their residents well, from what I could see based on the tour. The lady who took us around the tour, she introduced us around to the residents, and they seemed fine.

It didn't have private apartments, but they had what seemed to be a cozier and homier atmosphere. We had a good visit. The person who showed us around was very capable and knowledgeable of the differences and what was offered there. We saw people coming down for lunch. Everyone seemed to enjoy each other's company. They looked like they could accommodate any kind of food palate that you would like. The rooms were small but adequate. You don't need a lot of space. But what they had was certainly accommodating and could fit almost anybody who has a need for assisted living. I liked the fact that it was all on one floor. It didn't seem industrial, and it didn't seem to be a less-managed facility. It was more like a homey atmosphere.

It was small and quiet. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were in a decent size. The dining room was beautiful. It was set up very eloquently with tablecloths, real silverwares, plates, cups and stuff like that. I liked that it was close to us.

It was set by the golf course, so they have a nice view out the back. That place is pretty small, although it is bright and clean. They have activities for their residents. They have a bus that takes people here and there. They also have memory care. However, I just didn't feel like it was a place for my dad.
