I visited Winterberry Heights Senior Living. There wasn't much I didn't like about it. It was all positive. The amenities were there, they took care of all the services, and everything you needed. The dining area was spectacular, and what they offered for food and everything. They had a pool table. It was very nice, very luxurious. I wasn't able to taste the food, but I did see the menu, and it seemed very nice. The atmosphere in that community was friendly. I have a lady friend who was living there, and she enjoyed it. She liked it there very much.

As the adult child of two aging parents with many needs, I feel a sigh of relief when I think of Winterberry. From the get-go, we felt cared for and were treated with kindness. I moved my father from a different institution into their Memory Care wing. My mother was still living with me, but I was in over my head. They did a home visit to find out all her needs and determine which level of care she would need, and a room opened up in the Assisted Living wing. Now my parents can visit daily if they want to, while each getting the privacy and level of care they need. All the staff I’ve been in contact with are good at what they do, and kind and considerate. Because of this I feel confidence and peace of mind.

We have moved my husband into Winterberry Heights Assisted Living. It seems very efficient. The only thing is that we had to furnish the room ourselves, which was quite a pain in the neck. But we did do that, and we are still bringing stuff in there. But it's very, very nice. It's very quiet; you can hear a pin drop in there. There's an elevator (thank God) because his room is on the second floor. They supply toilet paper and paper towels. No stove in the room. They have a microwave, a sink, cupboards, and nice big closets, which is very important. The bathroom has a showerhead. I think cable TV is included in the price. Meals are included. Three times a day, they get meals. They have snacks, too. The noonday meal is the largest one, and it was very good. The place is very clean. They have activities. Right next door to my husband's room is a pool table. They have exercise equipment, too, and he is going to have some physical therapy. They usually require the people that live there to go down to the dining area, but since the COVID that they have, they are eating in their room right now. It's also a lot cheaper than when he was in the rehab facility. This one is probably $500 to 600 cheaper a month.

We visited Winterberry Heights Assisted Living. The people were very pleasant. They showed us around, and they answered questions. It was very professional. The dining room was very nice and very clean. The rooms were spacious. It was a 1-bedroom that we looked at and it looked comfortable. They had a television room where they had movie nights. They offered bingo and they had a salon where people could get their hair done.

I went to Winterberry Heights Assisted Living. What I liked about this place was that it was very nice and very friendly. It would have been a great place for my aunt except they weren't able to provide personal care for her. My aunt needs somebody with her and a private care home fit that better because it's not as many residents. The staff who toured me around was very knowledgeable and personable and he knew a lot about the place. He was very good. I was there during a meal, and it did look very appetizing. However, they just don't give enough personal care, and the person has to be very independent. My aunt needs a little bit more one-on-one care. They had a salon, they had a communal area, they had a library, and they had a game room. They had more common areas.

Winterberry Heights Assisted Living was very, very nice. It was very clean and bright. The people were very helpful and it seemed like a nice place to stay. We saw an activity board and they had card games and bingo nights.

I toured Winterberry Heights Assisted Living. Overall, I was very pleased with the greeting from the staff. The resource director that gave me the tour. He was very informative, and he answered every one of my questions. It just went really well. The facility is well-maintained. It's neat, organized, and clean. The rooms are empty, and you have you have to furnish them yourself. The family does. Everything looks nice, tidy, and clean. I also witnessed the cleaning lady that was there during my visit, and she seemed to be doing a very adequate job. I was in between meals, but he did give me the menu of the meals for the week. There are two dining areas in the memory care unit. Both of them were very clean and well-organized for the memory care patients. I do know that they have their laundry service. The RN schedules for their bathing, haircut, shaving needs, and that kind of thing. They have an outside courtyard, which is enclosed so no one can wander off. It was a very nice courtyard outside. The staff were all very friendly, nice, and very helpful.

This place is so expensive and the patients receive VERY little. Clothes go missing from residence rooms, bathrooms are full of urine and feces. Rooms are NEVER vacuumed or dusted. Patients rarely get their clothes changed unless the are soiled. No bathing, no oral hygiene, Very little activities. The staff at night can be often found sitting in the kitchen on their phone or watching TV, all while the patients are wandering about looking for their room or in the wrong room bothering others. Patients allowed to urinate anywhere they like. If you have a loved one in memory care, get a camera!!! Otherwise management will lie even more about what goes on. The website makes it sound amazing but… nothing could be further from the truth.

Winterberry Heights Assisted Living and Memory Care was nice, bright, and clean. It had two floors, which kind of threw me a little because it had this big staircase. It's very large. They had lots of activities. They were doing an arts and crafts project, some were playing games, and some were cooking a birthday cake.

Winterberry Heights is lovely. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The dining room is beautiful, and the food is not gourmet but good. There are a lot of activities like Bingo, church, movies and exercise. They also have news hour every morning where they talk about things that happened overnight in the world. My husband's room is really nice, spacious, and does not feel like a nursing home, but an apartment.

Winterberry Heights is very good. They're very nice, and it's a beautiful place. Everybody I met was very nice and they interacted with the residents very well. The dining setup is restaurant-style, and it's very nice, beautiful, and elegant. They have a beauty shop, a little exercise room, a bus that takes people to doctors' appointments, special events, and trips. It's elegant, upper class, homey, and makes you feel very special.

Winterberry Heights is a beautiful place. We ate with my sister-in-law twice, and the first time, the food was very good, but the second time, it was just OK. They have all kinds of activities and were having a guy come to sing. They do the rosary in the chapel. The downstairs is very impressive and very clean. My sister-in-law has been happy living there for at least four years. She has a little kitchen, a microwave but no stove, refrigerator, living room, a big bedroom, and a big bathroom that's very well-equipped for emergencies. The staff is very pleasant. Lunch looks very accommodating. They would kneel or squat on the floor to talk to the patients.

Winterberry is very nice and very clean. The dining facility and the kitchen are very clean and very nicely set up. They have good food too. That's where my grandparents are right now. From what I've seen, the staff seems really nice and helpful but not intrusive.
