My father is in Heritage Manor South. It's very clean. The rooms are nice. He's in a room that would be for two people, but he's the only one in there. The bathroom is big. There's plenty of room to get around in there with a wheelchair if you needed that. It's a good fit for him. It looks like a good value for the money. The staff so far has been pretty helpful. They stayed on top of it. I was there this weekend, and they came in for the meals and all that kind of stuff and when he's getting his medicines. He's getting seen by staff several times a day. They've got a big lunchroom that's got a big TV in there. It's big enough for 20 people to sit in there. I didn't explore the whole place, but there are other rooms where they have activities and they can get together. They had bingo in the activity room one night when I was there. I had some of the food and it seemed to be good. I enjoyed the things that I had. The dining area is open and spread out for people with wheelchairs. It was set up in a good manner to be able to support other people coming in to visit and that kind of thing.

The outside is better than the inside. They will mistreat and over medicate your love one. Activities are practically zero and the majority of the staff doesn't care and are rude. Within 6 months my love one's health and mental state decreased tremendously. Upon arrival, my love one had a suitcase of nice clothing, HOWEVER, upon discharge, I have no idea whose clothing I received. They didn't belong to him and should have never been given to anyone including the homeless.

Heritage Manor South is close to my house. They said they've been taking care of my mother, but she's just been there for two weeks and is still new. The staff that I ran into and talked to was great. Considering that she's in total bed arrest and it's COVID time, we could only go to the office and the grounds. She has a nice, large private room, and it does not smell.

I have had my mother there for 3 years after having her at HM Stratmore for 7 years. The floors are tile which makes it easier for wheelchair patients to get around. While in Hospice I sat with Mom and received Excellent treatment for her and I. During a staff shortage they covered shifts well and did a very good job keeping mom and the rooms clean. The food is really awesome and consistently above par for this type of facility. The nursing staff is responsive and attentive. Delays only occur during mealtimes and when the nurses and CNA's take breaks. When on duty they respond to room calls promptly. The in house doctor (Dr. Drexler) is informative and involved with patient care. The grounds are well kept for a facility this age and overall it is in very good shape. Allot has changed since 2011!.

This place was rather nice. The staff was very accepting of many illnesses and their side-effects. they also were not spiteful due to their workload like many i have heard of. Their handling of seniors was very delicate as it mostly needs to be. the only complaints i have about this institution is that their sanitary department could have been better. they were not as fast as i think they should have been to fix certain problems. things like tv reception and toilet and sink problems. The food there was sub par at best. they served a cordon blu that was hideous. the cheese seemed more like ricotta than a mozzarella. the breading slid off due to bein kept under saran wrap while cooling. granted that this was not a true health risk but it is a comfort problem when paying the money that was paid. their beds were mildly comfortable but the nurse response was always timely and sucessfull in most ventures. over all i think that heritage manor was a good place compared to some of the horror stories i have heard about severe abuse and neglect to seniors.
