My aunt is in Brookdale Waterview Court and it's been very nice. She's still getting used to and adjusted to being away from home. I had taken her to see 3 places and she felt like the other 2 were just too big for her. This was a smaller community and she said it's more homey. This is where she feels comfortable so that's why she chose this place. The food has been very good too. The residents get 3 meals a day here so that's a real plus. She said all of her meals have been very good. Her bedroom is nice, light and airy. She wanted a 1-bedroom, but then at the last minute, she decided on a 2-bedroom. I'm glad she did because she did not have to leave as many things behind at home or to give away or sell. She was able to bring a lot of her things with her. We were also able to get her dresser that goes with her bedroom set into the bedroom. She had an armoire at home too that she wanted to bring with her. I didn't believe there was enough room for that, but we brought it in and it fit beautifully in the living room. She has a small breakfast area, enough for two chairs. There are no stoves in this facility so if somebody wants to cook, this is not the right place. She has a microwave, though, so she can microwave things or even leftovers. They have a day or two that they play Bingo. There is chair aerobics on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. She hasn't joined that yet, but I'm hoping she will. There's a beauty shop inside the facility on the second floor. It's good that she can just go there and get her hair done. They have a bus service and the lady that drives it has been there for years. She takes them to Wal-Mart on certain days a week and you can have her take you to an appointment within five miles. I don't know how often they have it, but they also go to a restaurant on Thursday. You just sign up, then you could ride the bus and go with the group. I thought that was nice. All of the people that work there are very friendly too. I'm impressed.

We liked Brookdale Waterview Court. It's a beautiful place and everybody just went out of their way to make us feel so friendly. They worked with us well. They had the right apartment for us, and we just loved it. We felt like we were at home as soon as we walked in. The apartments are nice. They are very clean, spacious, and put together really well. It's perfect. They have studio apartments, one-bedroom apartments, and two-bedroom apartments. All the bills are paid. All the meals are provided: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We ended up having lunch with them yesterday. They have their own chef and they also have a pastry chef. The food was so good. They have an open menu that they give you to choose what you would like to eat. It's like going out to a restaurant three times a day. It really is, which I liked. There's no cooking for me. In the apartment, you don't have a stove, because you're not doing any cooking, but you have a full-sized refrigerator and a microwave. So, you can still have snacks and drinks in your apartment when you want something like that between meals. It's pet-friendly. You can have a pet or dog. They take the trash out for you and come in and do light house cleaning. They don't do deep cleaning, but they do vacuum and clean your kitchen area, your shower, and the bathroom. They strip your bed down, they check it, and they wash it, and come back and make your bed for you. It's good and that's all covered in the price you pay.

Brookdale Waterview Court was very nice. I like it a lot, but I don't like the fact that I can't cook. I love that they have meals, but I will have to leave my room. The rooms were so small. I'm on a walker now, so I don't do well in small places. The facility is beautiful, and it appears to be very safe. The staff members were very friendly, engaging, and nice. They were able to comment on the essence of senior living there. The food was very delicious. Everything they brought out to us was good. I enjoyed the meal.

I loved Brookdale Waterview Court. My parents loved it, too. We wanted the second floor and it was right across from the elevator. We went downstairs to the cafeteria and everybody greeted us nicely. Even the residents came over to the table and talked to us. The people at the office lifted us up and made us feel real good. We enjoyed looking at the room. The room was perfect. It had a refrigerator and a microwave. We loved the lady that took us around. She was caring and she talked professionally. She listened to every question that my dad had to ask and she was just nice all over. We checked the food out and it was good. The cook came from behind and talked to my parents. The food was perfect. We enjoyed it. My stepmother never eats all her food, but she ate all of her food there. So, I know she loved it. They showed love all the way around. Even the lady that drove the van came over, spoke to us, and told us who she was and that she would be carrying them around to places where they need to go. If I was at the age to move in one now, that would be where I would go.

My dad is in Brookdale Waterview Court. The place is nice and has everything that he needs. Being by himself at home, he wasn't eating right and it was causing health problems. But now he's there, and he's getting three square meals a day like you're supposed to be, and he's doing 100% better. His room is a perfect size for him, it fits all the stuff that he wants in there and he seems very happy. He enjoys the library there, they have a theater room, and he can do laundry and everything. We feel very, very pleased with it so far.

Brookdale Waterview Court was a nice place. I was not disappointed in any of the places I visited. They have amenities and activities galore, but they don't have a stove. I wanted to move there, but I didn't like that the staff offered me $300 off a month for a year, and then after a year, she was going to add it back in. I loved the two-bedroom apartment. I could afford it, but it faced the Western sun and it would have been blazing hot, so I chose not to move there. With the one-bedroom apartment, the balcony faced a huge tree that kind of grew into the balcony and I didn't like that either. I liked the rooms themselves. I just didn't like the location of the two rooms I was given a choice of. The staff during the tour was too eager to please, and I found it annoying. I ate there and I did not like the food. It was cold and that's just one time. It was at the end of the meal cycle, so that could explain why the food was cold, but I didn't eat very much of it.

Brookdale Waterview Court was beautiful. The rooms were nice, and the food was good. I liked everything about it, but the price was too steep for me. They had regular rooms and apartments. The staff was excellent. They had all kinds of activities. They also had a workout room to help you stay in shape. They had all kinds of games to keep you from being bored.

Brookdale Waterview Court was as spacious as the other place I toured. The tour was good. They only showed me a one-room unit or a studio, but I need to have something larger. They showed me their movie room and library. There was a game room. There was a computer room with little monitors, but for seniors they need to have bigger monitors to be able to read it. Their staff was really good, but not as good as the other place I saw. The food was also not as good. Their facility was clean. They have a good location and are close to a hospital and restaurants.

I liked Brookdale Waterview Court. It was good. It had a good community spirit. Everybody was friendly. I knew a couple that lives there, and I stayed for their lunch and it was good. They had good lunches. The dining area was very neat, tidy, and clean. They gave me a menu of what they serve on certain days. They're very accommodating. Also, if you live there and you cannot come to the cafeteria, they will deliver. So they went over all that. The person who gave me the tour was very friendly and she answered all my questions. She informed me about what all the amenities were, and she gave me a good tour. This is on the top list of where I want to go. There's a library, an exercise area, and a beautician on staff.

It is nice. I like the area because it's close to everything. They have a common room, a fitness room for working out, and a garden with a sitting area where they can walk and enjoy. They have a very professional staff and the place is set up kind of like a high-end hotel. They have multiple day rooms or sitting areas. They have tables and chairs and have a centrally located television so you can chat with friends or visitors or hang out or play cards or whatever. They have a movie room that has nice comfortable lounge chairs, like at the movies, with cupholders and all. You can just kick back, relax, and enjoy. It has a big screen that's mounted on the wall and it's nicely decorated. It's simple yet elegant so it's nice. They also have a reading room or a library with several books. You can go sit there and read. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are nice and they have activities. They do some aerobics, stretching, and yoga but I think my friend does not get too much into that and works out on his own.

Everyone was very nice. The dining area was lovely and everything was fine. The apartment was a two-bedroom, and had a refrigerator and microwave. I wish I could have a stove but I guess they don't do that. The building itself was very nice and one of the better places in Shreveport.

It had large rooms, libraries, and a little exercise area. They talked about some aerobics classes and bussing to stores and little outings. The food was pretty good. They showed us the laundry area. The staff was very nice, and the people were very friendly.

I moved in. It's very nice. The food is good, and the people are friendly. They have beanbag baseball, bingo, card games, dominos, exercise classes, and trips to shopping, out to eat, and to movies. The staff is very nice, very friendly, and always available. The reason I chose them is because it is near friends. I also have a friend whose mother is here, so I get to see her more often.

We went here for a visit and the place was good. It’s very clean. The staff was very knowledgeable. They do have some activities for the residents like bingo, domino, and cards and other things. I would recommend them.
