The staff at Azalea Estates of Monroe was much more attentive and the food was better than where I am now. My room was small, but it was adequate. I had a studio in that facility. I was there in the middle of the virus so the amenities were very limited. It was during the colder weather so I didn't go out, but the outdoor space was sufficient. The location was very nice for my purposes. The activities that time were very limited. The value for the money was very good.

Azalea Estates of Monroe seemed very nice and clean. The director was very knowledgeable and answered any questions that I had. She's been there 17 years, so she is obviously a good director, and then she told me about the activities director and some of the activities. They have quite a few activities to keep the residents busy for the ones that can do those. The room looked nice, but a little bit smaller than the one that I had seen. It had a refrigerator and a small stove.

We toured Azalea Estates of Monroe. The facility was clean. The rooms were spacious. You could bring in your own washer and dryer, which is nice. The staff who took us around was very friendly and very knowledgeable.

I went to Azalea Estates of Monroe. The one-bedrooms were nice, but the studios were just too small. The staff members were very cordial. They were doing their job. They can improve their pricing.

My mother enter the memory care unit in 2019 was there for four months before we moved her. The memory care patients are not treated well. They are feed separately on paper plates with very little food. The director never checks on the patients directly. While my mom was there I was there daily and never saw her once in the facility. She was too busy planning happy hours for the patients! Mind you patients were given alcohol who took drugs that could have been determinable to their conditions.

I loved Azalea Estates of Monroe, but the cost was a little high and little more than I could afford. The staff was special and super good, and the tenants were cordial. It was very satisfying. The grounds were OK, and it's not far from grocery stores and pharmacies and pretty close to doctors' offices. Everything was fine.

I knew somebody that lived at Azalea Estates of Monroe. The apartments and the dining room were nice. They had a salad bar and on Sunday; your family can eat there. They did have a lot of activities. The appearance was very nice, fairly new and modern. I've heard excellent things about it from the people that had lived there.

My mother was a resident of Azelea in Monroe. The staff is very loving and makes each resident feel they are a part of their family. Delicious meals, clean rooms and facility, painting, religious services, outings, games - all were enjoyed by my mom! The friends she made there will last a lifetime. We moved to a different city and chose another Azelea Estates for Mom's home. Azelea is the best care you can give a parent/relative!

Azalea Estates (AE) has been the answer to my prayers. Eight months ago, my mother reached the stage in her life that she could no longer live alone in her own home. I researched assisted living facilities in our area and found that Azalea Estates provided the best atmosphere for my loved one. AE provides an excellent, helathy, happy, environment for my mother and she tells her sisters and her friends they should move to AE. Recently my family hosted a 91st birthday party for her at AE and what a success it was. She was able to celebrate this joyful occasion with her friends, her family, and her AE family. The staff truly care for AE residents and help them to enjoy every day. What a blessing Azalea Estates has been for both my mother and her family. Thank you.

My Dad was a resident of Azalea Estates for two years before he recently passed away. I looked at every Assisted Living Facility in Monroe/West Monroe and Azalea Estates was our final choice because of its cleanliness and helpful staff. Jennifer, the Executive Director, could not have been more helpful to make sure all of our questions were answered and that my Dad got the best care. I highly recommend Azalea Estates if you are looking for Assisted Living for yourself or a loved one.

I think Azalea Estates of Monroe is doing just fine, but it’s not what I’m looking for. The staff was fine. My questions were answered. The apartments were very small.

As the daughter of a resident, I highly recommend Azalea Estates because of the caring staff, the professional management team and the pleasant atmosphere. I have peace of mind knowing that my mother is in a safe environment with many activities and programs. She enjoys having meals and visiting with friends in the dining room. Now that she doesn't drive, the staff provides for her transportation needs which includes weekly visits to Walmart. The managers respond to her concerns in a timely manner and are very patient and understanding. Most importantly, my mother is happy there due to the excellent service she receives.

The caregivers at Azalea CARE about their residents. This is the most important aspect of this review. They also make themselves available to family members and residents alike. The facility is well-laid out and easily accessible for residents of all types of mobility. There are many offerings for entertainment or activities for the residents as well. Like all long term facilities, the challenges are to keep the activities/food content interesting and not mundane. If i were to find any areas for improvement, those would the only areas for which I hear that there may be some room for improvement. I believe that it is also important to make those groups/persons who offer entertainment or other services to the residents to know how much they are valued and appreciated and for the residents to see this displayed as well. I am very pleased with Azalea and would and have recommended it to several persons, several of whom have become residents.

My Mom and Dad were residents at Azalea Estates of Monroe for several years before passing away earlier this year. I can't say enough about the excellent care they received at Azalea. The Management team and staff were always supportive and attentive to their needs and the family's requests. The facility is maintained to very high standards and the services provided were always top notch. Lynsey and her staff and the entire organization are held in the highest regards by our family. Thank you again, Azalea, for making Mom and Dad's time there very pleasant.

Azalea Estates is truly a home-away-from-home. When our mother went into a nursing home for rehab when she was told she would be in a wheelchair the rest of her life she became depressed and had settled on the fact that this is where she would be. As the time got closer for her finish her rehab we decided to look into assisted living. We were pleasantly surprised when we found that Azalea was half the price of the nursing home. We were invited to lunch with the director and given a tour off the place. Mother was so excited and pleased. She moved in three years ago and is very happy. The staff is unbelievably accommodating. It is truly a home atmosphere with a family feel.

My grandmother lived at Azalea Estates Assisted Living in Monroe, La. My grandmother was very well taken care of at this facility. The staff was very attentive and friendly. My grandmother liked spending time in the library located at this facility. They had many books available for the residents to read. There were also exercise classes available for residents. These classes were very well attended to. There was a screened in porch for residents to sit outside and socialize with one another. I always felt that my grandmother was very well taken care of at Azalea Estates. I always felt that her personal, medical, and psychological needs were always being met. She was also able to maintain a great deal of independence by living in Azalea Estates.
