My friend moved into Courtyard Retirement & Assisted Living. I think it's nice, and the people are nice there. I haven't seen it since she moved in because of the COVID thing, and they haven't allowed anyone inside, but she had a nice, spacious room, and the bathroom was nice. It was a shower with handicap bars. I thought it was a pretty big room, it has a refrigerator and a microwave. Overall, I think she's pretty happy there. It's an older facility, although it is very clean, the staff is very nice and very accommodating. They have a lot of activities for the residents. I know for sure they have bingo, they have a barbecue, and every Friday they have a band that plays in the auditorium for them. I know they have a van, but because of COVID, they haven't been able to take them on too many outings, but usually, I think they do. The grounds are nice, they have a little courtyard in the back. I think it's family-owned, it has that kind of atmosphere. She says sometimes the food is a little spicy. She's kind of a picky person. Everybody's been accommodating with her. For the cost compared to the other places I looked at, it was cheaper, and I think she gets more for her money there. They had been very careful in this COVID thing, they kept their residents safe.

My parents are at Courtyard Retirement & Assisted Living Community. When I go in, I always see staff there. I also see a lot of the tenants moving around and stuff, so it doesn't feel lonely. It's not a real solitude place. There's a lot of movement. They have a big eating area there. It's a one-story small place. My parents are there for assisted living, although my dad is diagnosed with Alzheimer's, but not full blown. He doesn't want to be separated from my mom, and if they put him over into memory care he would be more restrained and separated from her. At this point, we've been trying not to do that. The living spaces are OK, but I don't think the food is all that great. I think the food could be improved upon. It's served like Styrofoam to-go plates. They have them bring the food to the room, which I disagree with. I think they need to get out of the room and go eat at the cafeteria, but I think that's a choice that they made. Aside from the cafeteria, they have a library area, a little exercise room, and a little chapel, and in front of the memory care unit they have a little fishpond just for relaxing to sit around, but I don't ever see anybody using it. It's in a residential area, so it's off of the main roads. There are not really a lot of areas on the property to walk outside, but there's a lot of hallways to walk inside. They have events occasionally for the people. They had a crawfish boil, and they supplied a bunch of crawfish. Sometimes they have barbecues, and sometimes they have musicians come and play. They do dances for the people, too. The few times that I was there, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and I've been there when the nurse would come to check on my mom and do her blood pressure testing and all that, and they were always very, very friendly. They could improve the attentiveness of the staff when they are cleaning by changing the trash bags, making sure the trash was put out, and stuff like. Those things are very important, especially with older people who don't remember to do things like that or they're not functioning right.

I was able to go to Courtyard Retirement & Assisted Living. I had a good meeting there. It's very nice. The facility itself is very clean and very immaculate. The personnel are very professional and easy to talk to. The building is very well maintained, very clean and orderly. The atmosphere is very professional. The room is awesome. It is great. Compared to where my loved one is, it's like night and day.

I visited Courtyard Retirement & Assisted Living. I liked the staff best and the pricing least. The staff is very friendly, informative, and compassionate. The rooms were clean and spacious. It was a calm, family-oriented type atmosphere. The layout was pretty good, conducive to family living, and there was enough staff, and it's easy to get to the staff. The dining area looks pretty large, a decent size. It looked like everyone had enough space to their own, and they weren't cramped up on top of each other. There was enough space and you can dine comfortably.

I am so very grateful for Courtyard. They provide amazing care for my family members (mine and an in-law). My mind is at ease knowing that the owner and staff care about the residents. They have great activities. Live music nights, bingo, gardening, and many more to keep them active & engaged. It is also a warm, friendly environment. I could never provide what they do. The varied sized rooms are comfortable with en-suite bathrooms. Great food cooked by amazing cooks are included with optional room delivery if they choose to not eat in the dining hall.

We went to Courtyard Retirement & Assisted Living. The people who led the tour were very knowledgeable, very friendly, very helpful, eager to answer questions, and eager to help us cometo a decision that would be best for us. I thought the atmosphere looked very comfortable. Obviously, it's an older place, but it's well kept, and the two apartments that we looked at were side-by-side. They were about the same number of square feet, and they were quite large. We liked the layout, and the amount of square footage, which was more than comparable to the other one that we had looked at. We didn't eat, but the menu looked fine, and the dining area was very nice and very inviting. There were a lot of different things listed on their activities calendar like games, crafts, a band that comes in once a week and plays, and they do road trips, and things like most retirement homes do.

My father moved to Courtyard Retirement & Assisted Living in December. I think for the money that we're paying, we get an excellent quality of care. It's not a 5-star hotel, but the people there are professional and very friendly. It's an older facility, but it's been entirely remodeled inside and as far as the care goes, he's getting excellent care. We got the economy side, the smallest one, just for his needs, but everything that you need is there. They have a refrigerator, a microwave and everybody has their own bathroom. I'm very satisfied with the rooms. We've only been able to go in there one time because of the Covid restrictions. We're not able to go in the facility and in fact, I haven't been able to see his room since the furniture's in. When we toured the facility, we reserved the room and it was empty. The one time we went in, it was very clean and everything was freshly painted. They're excellent. We have no problems with the staff whatsoever. They're very prompt in returning calls. Any time I need something, I call the front desk, and if they don't know, they will have someone return my call within 15-20 minutes.

Say Yes, to Courtyard Assisted Living. While the building is not new and shiny; it is full of charm. Every room overlooks a maintained courtyard with trees, flowers and singing birds. My mother has made many friends and loves the kind and caring staff. What I treasure is the community. Clients are healthy, happy and enjoy visiting with each other. Staff members are knowledgeable and so very kind. My mother is safe, well fed, and happy. Her health is monitored and I am contacted when appropriate. Glad I said yes!

The Courtyard is fine; my mother is fine there, and she is pleased. They schedule little functions. They have people come in and sing. They provide the meals for them; they do the washing in the room. The facility is fine, it’s clean, and it’s well-kept. We have had nothing but a good experience.

I visited this place for my friend when I was looking for a facility. The building is a little older but it is well maintained. The staff is friendly. It's older but still acceptable. I would choose a newer facility. Houses are a little more distant than the other assisted living places I visited.

The staff could not have been more caring of my mother-in-law during her stay at Courtyard. Everyone, from the manager to the care givers and housekeeping staff were always kind and cheerful! The rooms are surprisingly large and very homey!
