My father has been placed in Oak Haven Community Care Center. So far, it's been wonderful. They're kind and caring and he's doing well. They were efficient in getting all of the paperwork required completed. He was placed within four or five days of my calling, so they were very efficient in getting him enrolled. The food was wonderful. Yesterday, they brought his plate, and they had macaroni and cheese. It had to have been made from scratch and chicken tenders that they fried, not just frozen ones warmed up, and I think apple cobbler for dessert. It looked delicious and he loved it. They're very active. They have something to participate in every day. They've just redecorated and it's beautiful. He can't participate in many of the activities because he has dementia, but if you were able to participate, you would be able to have something to do every day. It's all great so far and he's doing well. They all speak to me when I'm there. They know who I am and they give me updates.
