My father has moved into Williamsburg Nursing Home. I would rate them very high. It's very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and a very positive attitude there. I can't really think of anything negative to say about them. They offer all the amenities. The staff is very friendly and professional. They take a lot of time with their residents. They're very helpful. A lot of times the aides will just come in and sit with him and talk to him, so he likes that. He has to have a feeding tube now. He's lost his ability to swallow, and he's getting physical therapy as far as movement and things like that. It's clean, it's not brand new, but it's well-kept. Activities are available. They have like an atrium with like a cabinet full of live birds that fly around. He likes to sit in there and look at them. I'm sure if he was more able, they would involve him in activities. It's not cheap, but it's not as expensive as the other place. It's a good value for the money.

I have been in Williamburg about a year as I had a hip implant and a neuropathy in my left leg. The food is very good. It is very clean, and it is rated the no. 1 facility in this part of Kentucky. They have special treatment for patients who have memory disorders. It is a 24hr care facility. My people who run in the therapy are very good. We go on five local trips each month; we go to restaurants, church services on Sunday, and other games and activities. I would absolutely recommend the facility. It’s a very good place to go for the variety of problems that are associated with aging. It is a little bit small, but it is satisfactory.
