My mom, before we admitted her, was not talking, communicating. She was only walking with a great amount of assistance. Just months after being admitted, she was playing bingo. Later took a trip to Washington DC, with the facility. She participated in the senior Olympics every year. She rode in an air plane. She rode a water side. (With caution). She rode in a side by side (mule). Mostly, she celebrated three more birthdays. This facility brought my mom back to life!

I would recommend this facility to anyone. My father, mother and a sister have been residents at this facility. The staff is very caring and makes your family feel very welcomed and loved.

I've had multiple family members here over the years, and the care just seems to be getting better and better. There were a few hiccups with laundry but as they told me on admission no place is perfect. They've even been great about window visits and helping my aunt keep her phone charged so that we can talk easily during COVID. Staff are really friendly and great at helping me with answers to questions. Highly recommend it!

I've been into one here locally in Tompkinsville. Its name is Monroe Health and Rehabilitation. It is a typical nursing home. I think they do a fine job from what I could see. My overall experience is good. The service of the staff I thought was appropriate. I thought it seem clean. Everything seems clean and nice.

My mother-in-law was a resident in this facility. The family thought that this would be a good place for her to get the special care she needed since she had brain cancer and we could no longer give her the care needed. It was apparent from the start of her stay that this would not be the case. It seemed as though she was not getting the attention she needed. When we would visit her food would still be sitting on the table uneaten. She needed help to eat and could no longer feed herself. When this was brought up to the staff they said they would feed her, but continued not to do so. Then, she started getting really bad bed sores from not being turned enough. The family spoke with her doctor and made the decision to move her to another facility. Once she was moved her condition improved. I personally would not recommend this facility.

My mother in law was a resident of the Monroe County Health and Rehabilitation located in Tompkinsville, Kentucky. Our family was not pleased at all with the care provided while she resided there. We would visit often and find her not fed. They would sit the food on the tray for her and leave it. She needed to be fed by someone and we explained this several times. She also was found to have very bad bed sores on the heels of her feet from not being turned often enough. I spoke with her doctor about transferring her to another facility and he agreed that we should do so. We were relieved once she was in the other facility and started getting the care she needed and deserved.
