The facility is beautiful, so homelike. The hallways and common spaces are furnished with great care. Every hallway and nook seems to have a different carefully chosen piece of gorgeous furniture and delightful artwork. Each resident furnishes their own apartment so it will be as comfortable and attractive as you make it. My father's room backs up to a mountain stream. Cedar Creek is quite and peaceful, yet full of life. The residents here still have a lot of living to do. I lived with my father for the first two weeks he was here to help with his adjustment. Dad is blind and needed a bit more assistance in learning his way around than the average 90 year old. The first day he visited residents came from all over the dining hall to get to know him. The residents here help each other and the staff is humble, kind and competent. An elderly person is so much happier if they can live in the community they are accustomed to. My father has lived in Pikeville since he was in his mid 20's. I'm very proud that the small town of Pikeville has such an excellent facility.

My mother is in an assisted living facility right now here in Kentucky, where I work. The name of the place is Cedar Creek. It's a real nice place. It's affordable, and you have a real nice staff, just really nice facilities. I've been there for two years now, and I know who they are. They call me and contact me, and I go by and spend the night. For her, she can afford that. She has a studio apartment, and the total cost is $2400 a month. They serve them anything they want to. It's very good. This is an excellent place.

My great-grandmother was a resident of the Cedar Creek Assisted Living facility in Pikeville, KY. During her stay there she seemed at peace and was very fond of the staff. I also thought the staff was very friendly and really cared about my great-grandma. The rooms look a little out-dated, I think they should maybe redecorate to make it appear to be more bright and cheerful. But the overall care my great-grandma received was 5 stars.

My own experience with the living facility and my grandmothers experience there is very good. While the rooms themselves aren't that colorful and can be somewhat depressing it is still a good facility. They are ensured the care they deserve. They have good activities and care takers. They have good meals and overall i'd give them a 4/5!

My grandmother lived in this facility for over a year, until we brought her home to care for her ourselves. The facility was great while my grandmother could take care of herself. They offered activities that senior citizens could handle doing. My grandmother became sick and they couldn't take care of her there, because it is only assisted living not a nursing home. I would recommend this assisted living facility to anyone.
