The Paragon of Madisonville is great. My parents' room is excellent. They have beauty shops, game rooms, place to eat, lounge area, and TVs. The staff has been wonderful. They enjoy the food. It's a very well-run community that's clean and well maintained. They have a beautiful courtyard.

About The Paragon of Madisonville in Madisonville, Kentucky
The Paragon of Madisonville has been leading the way in assisted living and supported independent living for over ten years. As an attorney, Mark Lee, president of The Paragon, helped write Kentuckys first assisted living statute that took effect in 2000 and most recently drafted House Bill 444 that expanded the services that can be provided to residents of assisted living communities. This bill unanimously passed the Kentucky House and Senate and was signed by Governor Beshear on March 30, 2011. Mr. Lee also serves on the board of Kentucky Assisted Living Facilities Association (KALFA) to ensure that residents across the Commonwealth receive the highest quality of care.
Being locally owned and operated means that The Paragon is committed to Madisonville and its residents. Important decisions are made right here by people who live in our community and each of us feels the impact of those decisions.
The Paragons hands-on team members are trained above and beyond government requirements and daily live out the highest standards of integrity. Having strong support from the owners has resulted in long-term employees who care as much for our residents as for their own family.

We liked the room at The Paragon of Madisonville and the way it was laid out. The bathroom was big, and it had precautionary seating. The dining room was great. The whole facility was nice and beautiful. The staff was informative, but they weren't that involved and friendly. We were lucky to get one of the main persons that run it. Their facility was gorgeous though, and their menus looked good. They had a main room where they can watch TV and people play their music. Their activities were pretty good, and their amenities were great.

We found my mom a pretty really nice place for her at Kentucky called The Paragon of Madisonville. I chose this place as my family was there, the pricing was good, and it’s a very nice setting for her. She is in independent, and if she needs more care then she can move over to the assisted living side. Mom is in a two-bedroom apartment, duplex, and she has a garage where she can store things. It’s a living room-dining room combination and a full kitchen. We had looked at the assisted living facility first, and then when my mother came down, we looked at the independent living; she decided on the independent and both ladies that showed us to the facility were very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. We have seen the dining area, and it’s just like any other assistant living places; it’s very nice.

The staff was very nice and friendly. The staff members knew each resisent by name and made visitors feel very welcome. The building was very clean as was each room. The building smelled clean. As soon as you walked in you were greated and made to feel welcome. The food smelled great. The dinning room was clean and pretty. It was around a holiday and the facility was decorated and festive looking. The staff was professionally dressed with i.d. badges. The staff directed me to any place that I needed to go with a very positive attitude. The visitors bathroom was extremely clean! Parking was well planned with plenty of spaces. The outside of the building was clean and kept nice. There was no trash and trash cans were easily accessible. The commons area inside the building had crafts that residents had done hanging up. There was also a tv in which many residents were watching. The only negative statment I have is that one resident was worried about when her dinner would be served and no one reassured her of what time she would eat.
