The combination of independent living, onsite caregivers and PT/speech.therapists allows my parents to remain as active as possible while having good oversight. We wanted to find a place that had good care no matter where it was in Louisville. We feel we have found the location. My parents have settled in nicely. I only wish we could have convinced them to move sooner.

We placed my brother-in-law in StoryPoint Enhanced Living which is a step above Assisted Living as he requires additional assistance with daily living and have not been disappointed. It is so clean, the staff are amazing and caring, the food is very appetizing and activities are abundant. The grounds are spacious and well maintained. His room is exactly the amount of space he needs. He has a separate bedroom with walk-in closet, kitchenette (which he only uses the refrigerator), attached living room with coat closet and single bathroom with walk-in shower. Highly recommended!

The first thing my Dad would say is...The food is excellent! My Mom and Dad enjoy going to the dining room every evening. Everyone is nice, including the staff and residents. It is always nicely decorated and festive during a holiday season. Many activities offered for the residents and their families as well as very nice brunches offered for holidays such as Easter, Mother's Day and Father's Day etc. The summer outside events were my favorite, with cook out, a band playing and people mingling, dancing and kids playing. Storypoint does not just focus on their residents, but their families too..Thank you for taking care of my Mom and Dad.

I have been staying at StoryPoint Middletown. I really feel safe and comfortable here. The food is excellent here. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I only pay for the dinner. We've had two concerts here for the seniors, and it's been great. I feel like I'm a part of this community. My apartment is nice and cozy. It's not huge, but I have a fully equipped kitchen. If I don't want to go downstairs, I can cook in my apartment. You have to go to a hallway to get to your door, but it's secure, especially at night. The staff members are really good to the residents here, especially the director. He pays very close attention to the residents here. It's nice because if somebody is in trouble or if somebody just wants to talk, he's right there, and I love that. The dining area is nice. It's like eating at a nice restaurant. The chef is excellent. We get good party meals every night. If you are not able to finish your plate, they'll give you little boxes to put your food in, and you can bring them up to your apartment. They have washers and dryers here. They have storage for all the residents if they can't put everything in their apartment. As far as activities go, there's something going on all the time. They've got bingo and charades. They also have a happy hour on Mondays and Fridays. I don't feel like I'm in a senior home. I can do what I want, go where I want, and join in the activities if I want. It's wonderful. I think it's a little bit expensive.

From my first step in the door at StoryPoint, I’ve been blown away. Jayde, David, Miracle, etc etc have made what isn’t an easy, both physically and emotionally, process streamlined and easier. Making the decision to move my mom to assisted living wasn’t an easy decision and one we all wrestled with. From day one, the entire staff has welcomed her and encouraged her and made her new home a beautiful and inviting space. Everyone at StoryPoint is accessible, the facility is new and clean and gorgeous. They continuously work to ensure their residents and their families are happy and all of their needs are met. We toured quite a few places, and I know we found the right place for our mom. She is in the best hands and making new friends daily. StoryPoint is THE BEST!

We visited StoryPoint Middletown. We were very impressed with the place. On the way out after the official tour, which was very nice and informative, I talked with a couple of people that live there that just happened to be outside, and they were very happy there. The only downside is it's expensive, but it's not as expensive as round-the-clock in-home care. We were happy with that. They had two levels, one was enhanced care and one was independent. Enhanced care was what I gathered information on. They showed us two apartments, and one was in a wing that provided more care. They had a nice menu. We didn't eat there, but it looked like they had a nice dining area, and it was very elegant. I think my mother-in-law would feel good about being there. They weren't pushy. Everyone was friendly and I didn't feel like I was going to get a hard sell because we were upfront about gathering information, and I didn't feel like I was wasting the staff's time, nor did I feel that she was going to push me. She has followed up. It's very clean and new.

My in-laws have been at StoryPoint for the past couple of years and it has been truly wonderful! The facility is beautiful (hidden in a quiet and serene location)….but it’s the wonderful staff at StoryPoint that has made all the difference. The StoryPoint team ensures that my in-laws feel “heard” and gives them the sense of community they long for. As their health needs have changed and their support requirements have grown, StoryPoint has been there to meet the challenges of each new chapter. Thank you StoryPoint….you guys are family now!

My mom loves Storypointe! She likes that she has her own apartment and is completely independent, but she also looks forward to meeting her friends every night for dinner in the dining room! Mom also takes advantage of most of the activities and excursions they go on- which are many. I can honestly say she doesn’t get bored or want for someone to visit with. There are many caring folks who live here AND work here. The idea of “family “ is very much promoted and accomplished through their very caring and professional staff. They take the time to get to know the residents on a personal level. The director David, is outstanding in setting the high standard of care and respect that residents and employees give and receive. We are very pleased mom chose Storypointe as her home.

StoryPointe is not just a place to live. It is a community that excels at the personal touches for its residents, I have seen first hand how my mother’s mental and physical well being has benefited from becoming part of it.

We are so blessed that my father found Storypoint. He lost his wife during Covid and was all alone. The wonderful staff made extra effort to move him into a smaller apartment, closer to activities. He has plenty of room with an efficient kitchen, lots of sunlight, really everything he needs. So many individuals on the staff have made special connections with him, making him feel welcome and part of a close community. We have no local family, so we rely on Storypoint to provide personal interaction. They make sure my dad gets out to participate in activities (he especially likes bingo and puzzels!) and dinner seems to be the social highlight of his day. They worked closely with me, helping us add extra care to provide more personal attention as his needs changed. I wish he lived closer to me, but I don't think we could find a better place where I know he is getting wonderful care.

My mom had given up on life. The emotional events of Covid had drained my dear mom physically, emotionally, and spiritually. She had been hospitalized and experienced a rehab facility and told us she was ready to be untied with our dad in Heaven. Moving to Story Point truly saved her life! The staff went out of their way to make my mom, her 3 adult children, her 10 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren feel at home. However, better than that, they have brought value back in to my mom’s life. The other residents have become more than just my mom’s neighbors, they have become her friends and cheer her on to trying to increase her mobility and strength. My mom feels like she is living a new life! Our family has been blessed by Story Point and when we visit my mom, we are truly visiting her in her “home.”

My parents are settling into Storypoint. It is a wonderful place filled with happy, helpful staff and residents. Their apartment is perfect with enough room to feel like a home. The cabinets and lighting are modern, yet neutral. Everything is clean. The food is amazing. I ate dinner with my parents and the director, David. Everything we had was delicious. My parents report that they haven’t had a bad meal yet. We attended a mass service and the residents in attendance were so welcoming. The number and variety of activities is awesome. There’s something for everyone. The many services offered gives me peace of mind that my parents are in a great place. They can ride a bus to the local grocery and other retail stores or reserve a ride to their doctor appointments. Jayde, who helped my parents with all the paperwork, saw me outside of the community, and reminded me to let her know if my parents needed help with anything at all. The staff have introduced themselves and worked with my parents. The directors, front desk staff, sales, chef, housekeeping, and maintenance have all been amazing. Thank you StoryPoint for providing an excellent place for seniors and my parents.

The facilities are very attractive and clean as well as comfortable. The staff are supportive and caring. The food is well presented and prepared. I would recommend this home for anyone needing assistance. Rooms are big with lots of space and a kitchenette area with refrigerator and microwave. Bingo is a very popular event offered often. Special entertainment is presented as well.

Storypoint is a beautiful facility! The only place we toured and knew this was the right home for my Dad. The staff is friendly, helpful and always smiling. They also get to know all their residents and call them by name. I'm very thankful my Dad can call Storypoint HOME !

Mom (everyone knows her and calls her mom) has a very nice one br apt. The maintenance staff does whatever we ask to make mom comfortable. She has always been used to nice living and StoryPoint is an extension of her lifestyle. The staff always has a smile and visits and chats with her. Mom is kind of a loner and with the staff’s help, we get her out for BBQ’s and sing a-alongs in the bistro. They have other activity outings, doctor appointments and grocery shopping with the community bus. We are thrilled to have the peace of mind that mom is treated like family and is my surrogate when I can’t be there.

I can’t say enough good to accurately describe StoryPoint of Middletown and how much they mean to my mom and our family. At first, my mother was very resistant to leave her home where she had lived for many years. But after my dad passed away and she was left living alone, I felt a senior living community was the best thing for her. She did not agree and was very angry with me when we moved her in. That changed after just one night there. She called me the next day and said, “I really like it here. I want to stay.” I was so relieved that she was happy. When I first visited StoryPoint and told them our situation, they were very compassionate and understanding. They took information about my mom, asking what I thought would make her experience there as enjoyable possible. They did exactly what I suggested would make her feel at home. They work hard to meet the needs and wishes of the residents. One example for our family is when my mother asked the Director to baptize her after she’d been in a Bible study led by him. The director agreed and had a hot tub brought in so he could baptize her. They invited our family and friends to be there and even provided place with hors d'oeuvres so we could stay and celebrate with her afterwards. As you can probably tell by now, staff at StoryPoint really care about their residents. They’ve embraced my mom and have become family to her. There are so many activities to help the residents interact with one another. There’s something for everyone. Arts and crafts, wii bowling, exercise groups, outings to restaurants, local landmarks, shopping and more. They have live music at social gatherings where residents meet and mingle. This just scratches the surface of all the staff does to entertain them, encourage them and let them know they are important and they matter. Mom has lived at StoryPoint for nearly two years now and is still as happy and content as she was in her early weeks there. The facility that was very new when she moved in is still as clean and well-kept as it was when I first toured. I would wholeheartedly recommend StoryPoint to anyone who asked me. I just can’t imagine there’s any place better!

I moved into StoryPoint Middletown, and it was fantastic. The place looks immaculate inside and outside, and they work very hard to keep it that way. I've been to three other retirement centers, and this is the best I have ever seen. There are so many activities. There are trips to take the people. When you first move in, you are introduced to all the directors of the different departments. They come to your apartment to meet you. There's always somebody there to help and people to answer your question. The food was prepared by a gourmet chef and with many choices. I had a two-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, washer, and dryer. There are different choices of different types of rooms, depending on what you're looking for. You can get an apartment without a full kitchen. They constantly strive to find new activities and new ways to make the residents feel at home. They have bingo, paintings, trips, and a bus that goes to the different stores or the doctors. They have concerts constantly, music every night, and people come in for concerts. They are very particular about the upkeep, doing the laundry, and cleaning your apartment. They do recycling here, which is another good thing. Even the grounds were kept beautifully. On Sundays, they have different religious services for whatever type you want, or they will take you to church. I am paying less than at another place for a larger apartment.

When we had to consider our mom leaving her house, we had a pretty long list of requirements for her next home. We were prepared to look at several options, but Story Point hit every mark on the first visit. The facility is beautiful and well cared for, the food is fine dining, the care options are plentiful, the apartments are spacious and well-equipped, the activities are well planned and executed, and most important of all, every person that works there is professional, kind, capable, and fun! A smiling staff goes a long way in helping older people make such a monumental life change, and they work hard to help with the transition by keeping her engaged and busy. Our mom has made a lot of cognitive and physical gains since being in such an active environment surrounded by positive people, while getting a little assistance to help her maintain some independence. From a family member perspective, the Story Point team could not have made it any easier for us as well!

So grateful for the incredibly helpful and responsive staff at Story Point for helping my parents find and furnish an apartment after a fire at their house. Nice, clean facilities - lots of amenities to take worry and daily tasks of my parents' shoulders as they rebuild. Looking forward to spending some time there.

Highly recommend Storypoint. The staff is absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to help with the transition. My parents were welcomed by residents and staff. Facility is beautiful. Food is amazing. My parents love their full kitchen and patio making them feel independent. It's more like a resort. The best I could hope for. Thankful we found Storypoint. Highly recommend!!!

StoryPoint Middletown is relatively new. It's a new building, so it's very clean and well-laid out from a design standpoint. A lot of the staff are very personable and friendly. We're not really happy with the food. They're having a problem with serving the food timely, as well as getting the menu appropriate to that age group. They have bingo and other activities, though my mother doesn't participate in some. She's in what they call enhanced living. It's not assisted living, but they have services that you can add (so it's a little more attentive). They have staff located there for those people that are in the enhanced living. They seem to be in a state of transition right now, there are a lot of people leaving for various reasons. Staffing is an issue, and the management has also changed out. The communication is a little bit stressed as of right now. The food is a big issue right now; they have very good chefs there, but they're cooking for a much younger generation. What also concerns me is that they seem to be losing staff constantly.

Storypoint Middletown is filled with lovely people. Even though it is my aunt who's living here, like her I've come to personally know and trust many folks among the caregivers, administrators, kitchen staff, and activities coordinators around Storypoint. I can see that most of the folks living here feel safe, comfortable, and respected. I've thought to myself more than a few times that I'd like to live here myself. A hearty recommendation from me.

My mother has recently become a resident at Storypoint in Louisville. She absolutely loves it! Everywhere she turns, she's getting personalized attention. The staff is extremely attentive and always calls her by name. Even if they just pass her in the hallway. And she loves the food! The Executive Chef really knows her stuff! In fact, that was a major selling point for Mom to move there! She always tells me what she had for dinner and how good it was. One of my concerns for Mom was computer safety, and so far, she seems to be protected from internet scams. The computers and internet available at Storypoint seem to have some well placed firewalls to protect innocent people like my mother who have a hard time recognizing scams. She's made so many new friends, and she's so much more active in her new community than she has ever been before moving there. There is such a diverse array of planned activities available to her, every day, that she looks forward to. I think she likes the art oriented activities the most. There are music and dance opportunities, too, that she hope's to start participating in. She even has a hair and nail salon that she likes to attend. She was particularly pleased with the onsite physician who came right to her door, when she wasn't feeling well. Mom just can't say enough about how much she loves her living space. The rooms are spacious, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. Shes excited to be spending many years at Storypoint.

We love Storypoint, but more importantly they love my dad. The past 6 months have been hard on our family and my dad, but he is thriving with his new life and friends at Storypoint. I can’t begin to say what piece of mind we have knowing dad is so well cared for. Love them!

Moving Dad from his home was a very emotional process. He was very reluctant and is not a social person. Immediately the staff showed him they truly cared. Not just words, actions! The apartments are very spacious and comfortable. Although my father doesn’t participate in many of the group functions, he does enjoy the dinners and has made friends in the dining room. The entertainment options are endless and there is something for everyone.

Our mom lives at StoryPoint Middletown. We’ve been so pleased with so many aspects of her life at StoryPoint. The facilities are new and beautiful. The chef and her staff create and serve amazing meals every day. The activities at StoryPoint are varied, and numerous, with a diverse menu of activities happening each day. The thing we most appreciate about StoryPoint, Middletown, is the people themselves. Whether you’re talking about the Directors and front desk staff, the kitchen or housekeeping personnel, the activities directors, or the medical support staff, to a person, they have been genuine and caring, always going out of their way to gently and kindly meet the needs of our mom, and the needs of the other residents. Their pleasant and positive attitudes and customer oriented approach to service has made for a wonderful environment in which our mom has been able to thrive. We truly appreciate our friends at StoryPoint.

StoryPoint far exceeds my expectations from all facets. The facility is top of the line. The staff are absolutely fantastic, loving, caring, kind and lots of fun. The food is exceptional, healthy and gourmet. There are a wide variety of activities to engage in everyday that are fun, interesting and enhance the quality of living for the residents. There are lots of games, arts and crafts, cultural events, trips to area attractions, visits from animals, live entertainment and much more. The apartments are comfortable and cleaned on a regular basis. StoryPoint is much like living on a cruise ship without the water.

I think StoryPoint Middletown was great, the only reason we didn't choose it for my mom was that the bedroom was a tiny bit smaller and the washer and dryer were not in the room. Otherwise, I think it's quite nice and everything else was just the same as the other place we saw. The staff was excellent, very knowledgeable, very helpful, and very friendly. It was wonderful there, it was brand-new, it's just a little over a year old so everything is topnotch. I got to see the dining area while people were eating, it was clean and large. They have bingo, cards, and music coming in. They also go to the grocery store once a week on their bus.

StoryPoint Middletown was very nice and very contemporary. However, I did not think that it fit what my father would like. It was a gorgeous building. Everything was very nice. My father doesn't really need all the bells and whistles that they have there. They have a gym and a salon. It is very centrally located to a lot of shopping, a lot of restaurants, and a lot of churches. It would be very easy for seniors to get around and get to the places where they wanted to go.

I toured StoryPoint Middletown. It was excellent. They have very nice people. They have only been open a year, so everything looked brand new. The people were very friendly, and it was a good experience. We toured both independent and assisted living. The staff was very pleasant, very professional, and talked to us like family. The facility was very clean and very nice, and if I was in that situation, I would move in there. They had an art studio, an activities room, a dining area, and a chef. They would have different choices of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also had someone play the piano at night during dinner time. They had assisted living where they offered assistance, but my uncle needed a little more assistance than what they could offer. The apartments are very nice. In assisted living they have a refrigerator and a microwave, but they didn't have a cooktop or anything like that because they were assisted. They were very nice, very well kept, and roomy. They were big rooms. We toured a one-bedroom and an efficiency apartment. The independent apartments were very nice, very clean, and laid out nicely. You had your bedroom, a way to get to the bathroom that's close to the bedroom, and a full kitchen, so it was a really nice layout. We did not get to try the food, but we were able to see the menu. It looked like a very nice menu, and they had a better selection of food.

My dad is at StoryPoint Middletown, I think he got really along with it. So far, he's only been there a couple of weeks so they've had Christmas reindeer games, movies on Saturdays and Sundays, and they have road trips where they go out in a van that takes them to see the Christmas lights or just takes them on tours or out of town. Basically, they have one or two things every day. I like the staff. They've been going out of their way to learn his name and his habits. They already told me, three of four them, if I have any issues just give them a call. They're excellent. I like the food a lot. It's restaurant quality. The facility is brand new. It has a full kitchen, it does not have a microwave. It has a stove, a full sized refrigerator, plenty of cabinet space, and a full bathroom with walk in shower. They have an extra storage area. If they have things stored in the room, they got an extra storage area. It's like maybe two or three lockers that goes up about four feet. They can store some of the stuff out of your room into that, if you don't need that much. They have a washer and dryer on the premises. The thing I like the most is they have a bistro and the bistro has about three big screen TVs so you can watch ball games and stuff like that with your family. It's just been really nice.

They are wonderful to work with and truly care about the residents that live here!! I am so grateful to have some support for my parents that also ensures they feel independent. The apartments are a very nice size & one of my favorite small things are the built in nightlights that make sure there aren’t any dark corners which was super important to my Mom in her own home. They did not skimp on the cabinets, they are very nice well made cabinets & same goes for the bathroom fixtures. They really have tried to think of everything to make their residents lives as comfortable as possible.

We came to Storypoint in a bit of distress as our parents were in a facility that was already having problems but then they were about to accept residents from a Covid positive residence. We didn’t know if their insurance would cover Storypoint but Matthew, Kyle and Zac put us at ease and promised to work things out-and they did! We are so happy to have found Storypoint. My parents are relaxed and at peace there and the food is great! The apartment is spacious and easy for them to get around in and the facility itself is gorgeous! Most importantly is the responsiveness and accessibility we have with the staff to any concern that might arise. Please consider Storypoint for yourself or those you love-you will be so glad you did.

Deciding to move my mom into an independent living facility during such a difficult time in the world was not easy, but the staff at StoryPoint made it not only very easy, but they have been more helpful at every turn than I could have hoped for. I do not live in town, so knowing that my mom has what she needs, and is checked on regularly, has given me great peace of mind. Every person has been so wonderful, the transition has been just as easy and seamless for my mom! She loves the community there and the activities keep her engaged and active. She loves karaoke! We are so happy she no longer lives alone.

StoryPoint Middletown is a fantastic senior living community. I could not have asked for a more perfect place for my parents to live. Their every need and desire has been met by a friendly and truly caring professional staff. The facility is beautiful with state of the art amenities. Cleanliness and safety are top priorities. The food is fantastic, breakfast, Lunch and dinner is you so desire. You will feel like you are eating at a five star restaurant from cloth table coverings to polished silverware and Chefs of the highest caliber. Daily activities and social events are imaginative, entertaining and engaging for all residents. Exceptional maintenance and condition of facility. Exceptional cleanliness. Friendly staff. Well-stocked game room. Prompt attention to personal needs. Exceptional laundry services. Everything is wonderful here. Clean, cheerful, with sanitation. The apartment is very nice and clean. Everything here is neat. The meals depend on what you like. There are things I don't like and there are things I do like. They have a variety. They have about five choices like for dinner that you can choose one from. They have soups, salads and wonderful desserts that we need. We have long halls that we can walk. We can walk anywhere in the building and to different floors if we want to do that. We can go outside and walk. There are areas that we can walk in which I know. I walk a lot.

We moved my mother & aunt to a 2 bedroom apartment to be close to their other two sisters. Everyone has been so nice and helpful. The day we moved them they had them relax in the dining room with lunch until we had a place for them to sit. They even helped! Once they were moved in Zach and his team helped them get set-up. There are several activities scheduled through the week like Bingo, Crafts, Tie-dye, and Muffins & Mimosa’s are some my mom enjoys. My mom laughed and said maybe to much, it wears her out. It makes me happy to see them so involved. They have a nurse practitioner and doctors that will come on site to see residents, along with a pharmacy. They are both very happy there. It was such a great decision! I feel good knowing they are in a community of individuals who truly care about the residents.
