My mother is a resident there. The staff especially Nurse Gloria are always nice, friendly and willing to help. My mother is 96 and suffers from dementia, they are so caring, kind, attentive and patient with her. The rooms are double occupancy, she has plenty of room. She does enjoy playing bingo and the Friday afternoon social hour. There is rehab both physically and ,mentaly.

My mom was at Jefferson Manor for over 4 years. The best thing about her care was the Staff. They were caring, loving, attentive. They took a personal interest in mom. They were easy to talk to and always listened to any feedback given my me and my family. In this difficult time for our family, they made it the best for us.

This place needs to be shut down. They tell you when to get up in the morning-regularly woke me between 7 and 8 in the morning, after i had been up until 3 or 4. They leave people in dirty diapers-normal response time to call light was 20 minutes or more. They are unsanitary-when you walk out of your room into the hallway it smells like urine and bowel movements, i got hospitalized for pneumonia twice because my trach wasent cleaned enough, and i got C DIFF. The nurse at the hospital told me i got that from someone not washing their hands and contaminating me. And 90% of the staff is RUDE- cnas would barge into my room at 7 or 8 am, yell my name loudly, and turn lights on; speech therapist, Jennifer, is condescending and wouldnt allow me to have ice or water, even though the hospital said i could have it, and one nurse, Kristen, threatened to withold my anxiety and pain meds because i fell asleep during therapy, which, if they would have let me get a full nights sleep, would not have happened. You only got 3 SMALL meals a day, no snacks. I constantly had low blood sugar. Oh, and back to the rude staff-cna Stacey on night shift threatened to take the gummy bears my husband bought me, but nurse Tiffany, who was super sweet, told her i could have them. And cna Rachel wouldnt get my nurse or respiratory therapist when asked and everytime i had a complaint she blamed my anxiety. Please dont send your loved one to this dump

Signature East is nice, and the smell is usually pretty good. The people are very nice, and it was only once or twice, which I felt like there was issues with the staff. I reported it to the DON, and it was answered and addressed immediately, so it's OK. My husband seems to like the food. Their staffing is sometimes not good on evenings or nights on the weekends. They have one certain place that they keep their medicine carts, and 9 times out of 10, they're unlocked, and that's against the state. They have Happy Hour, movies, and all kinds of things for the people.

my mother was there for about a month, she was dehydrated, malnorished, had stage 4 pressure sores, let her sit in a dirty diaper for over an hour. never repositioned her every 2 hours. needless to say she ended up dead because of there lack of care. be very cautious placing a loved one here. the state did an impromptu inspection based on my complaints and found several vioations. you can view this public notice, called a statement of defienceies.
