My mother is now at Hillcrest Health And Rehabilitation Center. It is a little old but fine. The people we talked to who have their parents or grandparents there seem to like it. The staff members seem to be very nice and helpful. The food is great. For $2, we can eat with my mother. We have eaten with her two or three times already. They do a lot of different activities, like games, bingo, and singing. They have great activities, and residents seem to love it. My mother seems to love the activities. The rooms are nice and clean. They got a great price. It's cheaper than most places we looked at. For what you're getting, I think the value is great.

My husband is in Hillcrest Health and Rehabilitation Center. I just had a letter today from Hillcrest about a care meeting. I guess the future plans for his care will be discussed at that time. They seem to be taking care of him very well. He's clean and so forth. It seems like a nice facility. The staff seems to be caring and friendly. His room is adequate. They have a community shower. I'm not too sure about all of the amenities at this particular time. I haven't had much of a chance to see any of that. He now has dementia, so not much of what he is saying at the moment is making much sense. He seems to like the nurses and the staff. The residents seem happy and adjusted. I haven't seen any discrepancies. It seems like they're OK. The food is mashed up to aid him in swallowing.

If I could give this nursing home staff a 0, I would. My mother does not like the food there, so I took her some Boost and juice that she had requested. 2 employees refused to take it inside to her because of the covid 19 quarantine and at the exact same time, they were receiving a pizza order for themselves to eat. I do not understand why the items that I had just bought should have been under more quarantine than the pizzas that were being taken inside.
