My mom moved to Wichita Presbyterian Manor. I like that one best out of all of the places that I've visited. It was extremely clean, bright, and cheery. It was just a very positive experience every time that I visited. Everybody seemed very happy. Nobody seemed sad, depressed, or anything like that. I'm impressed with it. For the activities, I've only seen a couple of them, and one of them was music. They had somebody that comes in there a couple of times a week, and they do sing-a-long and that sort of thing. The other one was aimed mainly at the women who were having their nails done. It doesn't matter where you're going to put somebody. It's all extremely expensive but if you're comparing it's right there with everybody else as far as memory care costs. I love the staff. They take good care of everyone there and they're always very friendly. You can call them any time of day or night, and they're just right there to answer your questions. I feel very positive about the decision that I made to put mom there. The food is excellent.

Wichita Presbyterian Manor was very nice and they were very friendly. We took a tour of the facility. They have a lot of extra things that you can do. They even have a swimming pool. They have a library and just a lot of activities that you can attend. The food was good. The lady showed me the menu and that was excellent. The dining area was very nice. I was looking at a two-bedroom, 1100 square feet, and it was empty so that I could visualize where I could put my things there. It was nice. I think it would be just what I need.

I liked my tour of the Wichita Presbyterian Manor, it's a nice place. It's like a resort-style place, they have lots of activities and they had the nicest apartments. I liked their apartments, they're the best. The 1-bedroom apartment is 1000 square feet, and it's by far the roomiest and nicest one I've looked at among those I've visited. The place was nice, it looked really clean and ready to go. The staff who gave the tour was nice. I didn't eat there but the dining area is a nice, upscale restaurant. They have a big indoor swimming pool, and recreation area, it's a big difference from the other place I saw.

The people at Wichita Presbyterian Manor assisted living are very friendly and responsive. My dad loves the food there. The facility is modern, updated, clean, and in good condition. They do not allow anyone else to eat with the residents at this time. You have to sign up for visitation at least 24 hours in advance to visit the facility. They don't allow any guests or visitors at any of the activities or any of the meals. It's very nice and a very good value for money.

My mom is an independent living resident. I feel very comfortable with the level of care and attention she receives. She is happy there, her apartment is beautiful, she has made many friends, and participates in many activities the Manor plans for them. I would highly recommend it whether your parent needs a lot of care, or minimal care, it is a great place for them to live. She knows many of the staff, they are always so friendly, they seem to know everyone, and call the residents by their names. It definitely feels like home.

We visited both assisted living and independent living at Wichita Presbyterian Manor. It was very nice. The staff was very friendly, very informative, and answered questions. It was very nice looking and very clean, laid out very nice, and very easy to get around. I saw the dining area from a distance. It looked very big, which a dining area should be for that number of people there, and it looked very open, very nice, and very clean. The atmosphere was very nice, too. The rooms were very big, airy, nice, got windows to let the sunshine in, easy to move from one room to the other, and very clean. I didn't see much of the outside areas, but what little of it that I saw, they were very well kept, very clean, and looked easy to get around from place to place.

I just had a call from Glenise in full care. She knew that I was frustrated about not being able to see my Mother and therefore I was concerned about her care. Glenise talked with me for almost an hour answering my questions and putting my mind at ease. She even suggested a couple of things that I can do to keep communicating with Mom. Because of Glenise I feel so much happier and confident that Mom is in the right place.

Wichita Presbyterian Manor was first quality. The quality, the facility, the amenities, the staff, and the food quality were excellent. The rooms were top-quality materials, well appointed, and in excellent repair. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and very pleasant. The food was restaurant quality. They had continuum of care, so they had rehabilitation center, assisted living, and nursing. They had a pool, a full gym, a fitness director, book groups, game groups, groups that go out to eat, Bible study, and a chapel.

We went to The Westerly Residences at Wichita Presbyterian Manor, and it’s a buy-in as compared to a month-to-month lease. It’s a condo type of situation with lovely apartments. Everything is brand new, and they are lovely; everything from granite counters and stainless steel kitchen. Everything is up to date. If you decide to buy in there, you automatically have access to extended care and nursing care at a greatly reduced cost so that is a plus. We were very impressed with their management; however, at our age, we are not sure if want to buy in or lease.

We visited Presbyterian Manor, but we did not get to see the apartments because they were not finished with them. At that time, they had a visual tour, but we were not able to stay. I think it’s probably a very nice facility. I have friends that moved in who were looking for same things as we are, so I’m sure they’re happy over there. I think that it would have been a very nice facility and would have worked for our needs, I’m sure. We talked to the lady who was in charge of the place, and she was very helpful and gave us a lot of information and literature for us to look through, which we did. The dining area was very nice. I think everything is in one dining room there, but you do get to pick what type of food you want and whether you want a light or heavy meal. One of my friends who lives there is in another part of the building in a lovely one-bedroom with a nice balcony to go out on. Knowing what her room looks like, I’m sure the new ones are just as nice. It was lovely, nice, clean facility. It just wasn’t going to work out for us.

Presbyterian Manor was good, and they are in the process of redoing it. The main facility is very nice and beautiful. The staff was very helpful. It’s a very big place, and it’s very hard to get oriented. The dining rooms looks very good.

I didn't meet a lot of the staff during my visit at Wichita Presbyterian Manor; I just met mostly the marketing people, and they were very nice. The food was excellent. It is newly built, and they have everything you need; it has three levels of care, so you never have to leave.

This is a wonderful, innovative community that really takes care of and cares for its seniors. It is a not for profit organization which may make it more affordable than other similiar programs. It is located on the northwest side of the city on a beautifully landscaped and ammenities rich campus. Caring and competent staff work to help seniors stay engaged and function at their highest level of independence. Really exemplifies the person centered model of care. Has a "Try it Free" program which allows a 1-3 day stay free of charge to see if Assisted Living is the right answer for you. I like this place. Be prepared for a wait list.

Staff are not very skilled in dealing with dementia. I am worried my mother is over medicated to make her more manageable. Facility needs a way to deliver music to residents without resident needing to operate a device.
