About six years ago we had to put my grandfather in a nursing home and we didn't have a whole lot of options due to his location in Kansas. We wanted to put him in a home that was caring and had strong Christian values, since that is the way he lived his life. We chose the Good Samaritan Society across the street from his church. The people there are great, and really care about the patients. As with any place, there are workers that do better than others and take more care for the patients, but overall they all do a great job. The Employees are very professional and personable; they really invested in my grandfather, and took care of him. They talk to him as if he knew everything that was going on, even though he is not completely aware of his surroundings. The facilities are good, the rooms are perfect for one person, but are a little cramped when two patients share a room.
