Heritage Health is nice. The friend that we visited has a private room that they painted with his favorite colors. He told us the food was good and he could get whatever he wants from the cafeteria. He's happy with the care he is receiving. The staff was helpful in helping us find what we needed. The place is in a residential area so there were other houses around it. It’s like a quiet, small town. They had a patio outdoors with picnic tables on it and a little living room area with sofas and a TV. They have a dining room and physical therapy.

My first impression was that the nursing facility seemed to be more of a home than just a sterile, cold environment. They used decorations and comfortable seating to make the place feel more 'homey'. I had spent most of 3 days in the facility and talking to the residents as well as the staff. Each staff member did what they were supposed to do, with a good attitude. You could tell that the nurses and nurse aides really cared about the residents. The staff took really good care of everyone and were able to joke around with the residents and make their day. It was great seeing the CNA's and nurses care so much about each individual resident. There were a few residents that I talked to who seemed to be really happy with the care they were receiving. Overall I had a great time visiting with residents and helping out. The building was in good shape, the place was clean and odor free.
