Everything is fine at Crestview Manor. It is a very good facility. The staff is excellent. Mom-in-law is in a shared room and it is like a hospital setting. They have activities like arts and crafts, bingo, and some other things.

I was not pleased with the care that was provided by this facility. Second and third shift a grossly understaffed and don't have the supplies needed at all times. Be sure to read state evaluations before admitting your loved one.

I had no idea that the monthly rate to pay yourself varied so much depending on whether you had any incontinence, needed assistance with a walker, or getting dressed. It started out being $4800 a month, and after 6 weeks had jumped to $5200 a month! Quite appalling for a 2 star facility.

Crestview Manor was affordable and my mother's choice. The staff were assistive and informative. I liked the location, and it was clean and peaceful. My mom liked the room because it was the right size for her. The residents seemed happy there.

The owners of this facility genuinely care about the residents. This is a family-run business, with their grown children working there as well. They take time to visit with the residents, and do a wonderful job maintaining the apartments; they are quick to respond if any need arises regarding maintenance within the apartment, and also if there is any physical need. The food served to the residents is delicious, and they provide a nice variety of things. There is a beauty shop on site, beautiful dining area, and several areas to sit and visit with family or other residents. Bible studies are offered, as well as a short sermon and music (church) each Sunday (provided by local churches). There is an area where the residents congregate and play cards, checkers, etc. The evening meal is provided, and delivered to your apartment if you so choose. They will be responsible for medications and provide them as needed to the resident(s) if needed. The apartments have ample room, with a big entry closet, as well as a nice-sized walk-in clothes closet in the bedroom. The kitchen has plenty of cupboards, and all appliances needed. The entire facility is very clean and provides a relaxing,"homey" atmosphere. The monthly charge is the most reasonable we found anywhere around. We are very satisfied with the care our parents are receiving there, and have total peace of mind for their well-being.
