I toured Perry Lutheran Homes Spring Valley Campus. It looked like a nice and clean facility. I wasn't as familiar with it, but I think they were really good. The staff were really good. They had a courtyard. It wasn't quite as nice as the other place. In terms of cleanliness, the hallways and the main areas were very nicely kept. It's also right next to a hospital.

I was able to tour Perry Lutheran Homes. It was a nice experience. I actually have a relative that lives there, and I had been there before to visit one-on-one. It was nice, but it just didn't have the overall warmth from the staff members. It had more of a facility look and feel to it. I had no complaints about the cleanliness when we were there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I like that it is right in the middle of a residential neighborhood because it is important for the residents. Also, it's nice when they look out the window, and when they are able to go outside with a family or a staff member just to get some fresh air. It is important to have that in a community like that. It is beneficial for them. The building is well kept and groomed. I have no complaints about that either. It is on a high traffic street, but that's good for the residents, too, to see that the world is still going even though sometimes you don't feel a part of it.

I had visited several times over the years. The place was always spotless. It had a very clean and neat rooms. Very large hallways, which was great. You would always see some elderly around. Wither it be playing cards, solving puzzles, or watching a group movie there always seemed to be something going on which is fantastic. I imagine it must get terrible boring without activates running all the time. The rooms where my grandparents stayed were huge. The also provided extremely large bathrooms which is always nice. The staff was always friendly. Every time I went they always seemed so happy to help out. (Of course they are paid to do this, but it was nice nonetheless) Overall the place was great. I always enjoyed visiting and when I end up retiring I would love to live in a place like that.
