My husband moved into Holland Farms Senior Living. We toured the place and it's a very nice place. They promised you this and that, and I was impressed. So, that's kind of the reason we went with them. It's a beautiful place. It's only two years old. The layout is OK. It's kind of big and my husband is in memory care, so it's hard for him to find his room because it's quite a ways from the common area. They have a lot of rooms where when you have company, you can go and sit. And if you want to dine with your loved one, they've got a very nice place for that. Then they have a room that you can rent when you want to have a birthday party or something like that. It's called The Pub, and it's nice. We moved him in on a Sunday and I came back during the week, and he hadn't been shaved. And then I came back the next Sunday and in a week, they hadn't shaved him. They're having a Veterans Day luncheon this Friday. They have quite a few activities. One day I was there, they had an activity and I participated with my husband in that.

We toured Holland Farms Senior Living. The staff were very nice. They appeared to like their jobs. All the residents seemed happy there. We talked to a couple of them about how they liked living there and they enjoyed it. Everybody seems happy. They did have a microwave. I remember that much because they don't allow cooking in the apartments except for that, but the microwave was down low, like for a person in a wheelchair to access. They must have had a fridge, too. The staff was very nice. I've spoken to her a couple of times and I liked her as a person. She seemed like a very genuine and caring person. The facility, it's very clean and very open. It's very warm and inviting. They've got an excellent view. They've got this beautiful little pond and walking area. You get three meals plus a snack.

My sister has moved to Holland Farms Senior Living. We chose it because it's just a very nice, pretty, very clean place. The staff members seem to take good care of the seniors living there. The residents with memory care problems, keep them very active, and they have a lot of activities. They have a very nice courtyard, they have a hair salon, and they do scenic drives every day to get the patients outside.

Holland Farms Senior Living was brand new and it looked like a lot of details had been planned out ahead of time. It was very inviting and very comfortable. The staff was very good and they've done their homework especially, for their memory care residents. Most of the rooms have their own bathroom and shower, and they look out to a pond. I saw the menu and it looked wonderful. The dining area looked very elegant and very much like a very nice hotel setting. One thing that stood out was that they take the residents for a ride in the afternoon. It also has everything that one needs.

Holland Farms Senior Living is a new facility. The room my mother is in is brand new. All the care is inclusive, so they do all of her meds, her showers, and her daily living. There are no extra fees. There's one flat fee for everything, so that was nice. The staff has been wonderful. They have a lot more activities going on than other centers. They do a daily drive. They take them out of the facility every day and go somewhere. They take them out to dinner, and they go to the ballpark. They do all kinds of things. Twice a day, they have activities going on inside the center. They keep them pretty busy. They have a beauty salon, a little gym area, and several areas where they sit and watch TV or do activities at a table. They have an enclosed walking area outside. Mom says the food is good.

Holland Farms Senior Living was nice. It was almost brand-new. It was only there for two years or so. The staff members were all nice. They were great. The building overlooked a nice little park in the back with a big pond in the middle. It was good that you are not staring at buildings. They also had walking paths that pass the park. They provide transportation if they want to go to church or somewhere. They also had a library that was connected to the Norwalk Public Library. It looks like somebody from there would bring books in and stuff if you requested them, like once a week or once every couple of weeks. They had rooms to do activities, they had a puzzle room where they could do puzzles and stuff, and play cards if they wanted to. We saw a suite and a 1-bedroom, they were a decent size and they had full size in their rooms too. There's plenty of closet space in the suite, they could have a nice big closet.

Holland Farms Senior Living was bright and clean. I only talked to one person but I liked her a lot. They had the TV room, they take them out places, they have a refrigerator for them, and they have snacks on-hand all the time. I liked the big TV room/lounge place, and they had more than one. The rooms were nice, and they've got a nice bathroom. I liked having their own shower instead of just having a shower room.

I toured Holland Farms Senior Living in Norwalk and saw their assisted living. It's a little bigger but it's kind of all in one building and sort of spread out. It's a newer facility, there are more activities, and it's more updated. They have all 3 levels of care, from no help to assisted living and memory care units. They have a little more staffing there and there's more of a community type of environment. There are a few more amenities there as well. When we took the tour, there's at least 2 or 3 staff members available on every floor. They also have occupational therapy with speech therapy and a designated room with personnel down there at all times. They had more nursing staff as well. The rooms seemed bigger and newer than the other one I've also toured. This one is more updated. They have a movie theater room where 20 or 24 people can go and watch the latest movie. They have a little social area that has limited drinks there. Whether it's a margarita night that they have or a Mexican thing. They have a campfire night out there where they have a fire pit and stuff that people gather round out there. Then they also have a crafts room, puzzle rooms, baking, and stuff like that.

The Holland Farms Senior Living facility is absolutely beautiful. As far as all the places that I went to, I really felt that the value of that particular place was awesome (compared to many of the other places). It's fresh and clean because it's brand new. It has many great things to offer. It has a beautiful park out back of the facility with walking and bicycle paths. The landscape around it is great, and the inside is very well done. The staff was very friendly and very nice. I've eaten out there twice, and the food was great. There's a fairly large menu to choose from, and the chef comes out and visits with you. It was a great experience.
