Our sister was bedridden when we moved her to Hiawatha Care Center. The staff and employees were awesome and caring. We can’t say enough about the care she received while there. The staff always kept us informed about Nancy’s care.

My sweet Grandma has been here for several years. She loves the staff, residents, food and activities. She was a nurse herself at a Care Center back in the day so she understands how it all works. Everyone is always so kind and caring to me on the telephone even though I'm so far away. Her highlights of the day are all the events she participates in everything especially farkle.Thank you for caring and loving on my Grandma and having her best interest in mind. I appreciate that.

My wife was at Hiawatha Care Center. There were a large number of staff, and when anybody needed help, they came right away. She was happy there, the food was good, and they fed her a lot. They had afternoon and evening snacks, they have lots of activities, and she enjoyed it.

As a relative of a family member I can say with confidence that Hiawatha Care Center does strive to deliver quality care for all the residents. They should because the cost is very high. I was recently disappointed when an additional $10.00 was on my mother's bill. It was for the Christmas Meal!!! Could not believe it. All meals were supposed to be provided. My mother did not even eat the Christmas meal and we brought food in and ate with her in her room.

The staff made me feel so at home. My uncle Gary was depressed after he lost the election but he recovered well due to the amazing care he received. I recommend this facility to anyone and everyone.

My mom was able to stay in Hiawatha Care Center. I know that the staff worked very hard during our stay there. However, the doctors never seemed to notice that my mom had a thyroid problem. The food was much better. She was eating even though she had everything liquified. They had a very big activity room. My mom's room is good. The problem I had with this community was the confusion about the bill. It was a bit messed up. I didn't like the way they do things. They should have communicated more with the family members of their residents.

Hiawatha Care Center is a place that we have visited for the church. It is a nice facility. It is newer and nicer. It is also more open. The rooms were bigger too. The staff was very nice when we were there for church service. The best thing about this place is that it is a newer facility and probably a little cleaner. It is just a more open atmosphere.
