North Woods Commons has individual garden homes. What I liked about it was the independent living residents could live independently but they still provide meals. The food is excellent, and they have a lot of activities going on. They had five different card games that I like to play, Bible study, weekly Church services, exercise programs, and a walking club. The visit to Northwood was fine. We talked to the administrator, the person that’s in-charge of showing us the facility and showed us a room and we talked shortly about what our options were but we found out very quickly that he did not qualify. But the rooms have their own bathroom and kitchenette. They seemed to have a lot of activities for the people living there but we didn’t really get to stay very long.. I visited North Woods Commons. The rooms were very nice. What I liked about them is they had everything a la carte. You only pay for what you need to pay for. It was an older structure. They didn’t have a lot of activities. The staff was friendly. There’s the grocery store Kroger nearby. There are restaurants. We were invited to lunch at North Woods Commons and we had it in the private dining room, which was right next to the open dining room. It was very nice. The food was very good. I was impressed with the menu because it was complete. The rooms and the windows in the rooms were not very big.
