My grandmother stayed at this facility for several weeks before transitioning back to independent living at home. Like most elderly patients, she was not overly happy about being in assisted living but she was able to adapt quickly to CrownPointe. My mother and I visited her several times a week while she was in assisted living. We were very happy with the facility and the care and attention she received there. The patient rooms were very bright and airy. As far as I could tell, each room had a large sliding glass door that led out onto a small patio. There was plenty of storage space in the rooms for belongings. The main dining area was very pleasant. There were high ceilings, lots of tables and seating options, and the decor was nice and comfortable. The staff came around often to check in with the patients and to chat with them. All the staff were very friendly and made a point to introduce themselves to patients' visitors. The food was about average for these kinds of facilities. The best thing about this facility though was the close proximity to the local hospital. It was literally just across the street. That made our family feel much more at ease each time we had to leave after visiting with my grandma.
