People can write or say anything about The Waters that they want to, BUT when you have a step-father (Stan, that you love like a father) that has been with them for quite a while now, all my wife and I can say for EVERYONE that works there are FANTASTIC, we understand it can be tough for the staff to get there as soon as the button get's pushed and the light goes on,but as soon as someone gets there the patient is taken care of. The Waters is NOT your all fancy place but it's a GREAT place to have someone that you care for, being taken care of 24/7 and you don't have to worry about them. Thank You Holly,Brenda,Regina,Abbey etc.,etc.,etc., (They ALL treat you like FAMILY). Keith/Julie Isenberg

This facility is poorly rated on failure to assist personal hygiene care on residents.

It seemed like The Waters of Greencastle was the most helpful, the most wanting to get to work for you, and the price would have been fine, but you didn't get single rooms in the locked unit. They had 2 people to a room, a bathroom, and 2 more people to a room, so these 4 people who got dementia and Alzheimer's shared one bathroom, and their hygiene is not great. The rooms were really tiny that all the 2 people could have were a bed and a chair. It was all jammed up. Somebody had used the bathroom 3 or 4 times and had never flushed it. It just wasn't clean. They're so nice and so willing to work with you, but I'm not putting my mother there. I wouldn't want to put anybody there. It was awful.

My Father is at Water of Green Castle and I live in California. I have tried to call hime several times and they say he can not come to the phone. I can not believe in this day and age that they can not get a phone to him so he can speak with a family member. I give one star because the staff did answer the phone

I visited The Waters in Greencastle, Indiana about 6 months ago to check out the facility, staff and living condition of the clients residing there. I work as a nurse and I am very sensitive to what patients need in order to cope well. If I were asked to rate this facility, I would definitely give it a 5. The environment was calm and peaceful. It was very homey especially to the residents. The ambiance was perfect. The staff was very accommodating to their patients and they showed utmost attention to every need the patients desired. Care was not delayed, in fact, the staff made sure they monitor their patients regularly for any assistance needed. The Waters has quality care patients need in order to live fruitfully and comfortably. This facility is so far the best I have visited. Healthcare in this facility is excellent. The environment is perfect to all ages. The staff is caring, loving and most of all very accommodating. Not only does The Waters embody quality care but also provides residents a loving community.
